Most of us don't, we just use the level up feature in wifi. I for one finish EV training and box them up.

You can choose level 50 or 100...

Would it be smart to have instead of quick feet ursaring then to have an agility passed to guts Jolly ursaring with 252 atk/252 spe? Would it outrun the quick feet version?

They'd have the same speed. Although Quick Feet is superior without an Agility.

Not a good initial start at all. What you SHOULD do is switch out, because there is not way Donphan is beating Sceptile one on one.

actually, i answered my own question. thanks though.

can someone tell me two more moves i could put on this arcanine?

[email protected] choice band

flare blitz

help would be appreciated.

ABYAY November 12th, 2008 9:42 PM

Since Arcanine's physical movepool is lacking severely, you're limited to, for D/P:

Flare Blitz
Extremespeed
Thunder Fang
Iron Tail/Overheat

Overheat is to hit some things like Hippowdon harder than what Flare Blitz would. Iron Tail smacks sturdy rock types that completely wall you though.

Calm mind on alakazam does not work, its too frail so you need choice specs and perhaps replace calm mind with trick for the traditional alakazam set. or just replace it with some random attack but you wont get time to set up if your oppoment is any good. :)

FinalPaladin November 13th, 2008 9:07 AM

HP Electric, first of all, would be as good as garbage, Power Trick does not boost SpA at all.

"This move swaps the user's Attack and Defense stats. Attack and Defense boosts are still applied to their stat."

- Smogon

Aurafire November 13th, 2008 8:16 PM

Shuckle always needs Max HP and Defense....Or else his walling abilities go way down.

Yeah get rid of HP electric. It does nothing at all...add Gyro Ball. Impish nature, and make sure you're using him in a sandstorm.

Sand Attack is banned, I think. Lowers acc.
Night Slash is sort of garbage on Ken. This set works better for physical Blaziken:

Blaziken @ Life Orb/Choice Band/Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

Flare Blitz
Stone Edge
Sky Uppercut
EQ/T-Punch

Salac only works with reversal.

For mixed ken,

Blaziken @ Choice Scarf
Rash Nature
30HP/30Def IVs
76 Atk/ 216 Spa/ 216 Spe

Sky Uppercut
Thunder Punch
HP Ice
Fire Blast/Overheat.

Feraligatr @ Life Orb / Leftovers / Salac Berry
Adamant
EV's: 28 HP, 252 Attack, 228 Speed
-Dragon Dance / Swords Dance
-Ice Punch
-Waterfall
-Earthquake

DDGatr is probably its best bet. If you can't breed Horsea to get Gatr Dragon Dance, then you can opt for Swords Dance instead, but make sure to max out Speed at 252 EV's, taking out the spare HP EV's. The EV spread is so that you outrun what you're able to outrun and putting the rest in HP. (229+ Speed gets you nowhere, as it doesn't let you outspeed anything 228 can't)

Also, if you're using Swords Dance, go for Salac Berry.

Keckleon @ Choice Band
Adamant
EV's: 220 HP, 252 Attack, 36 Defense
-Trick
-Return / Body Slam
-Sucker Punch
-Focus Punch

Keckleon's got a great move in Trick, and functions well as a lead. Trick an SR user and Focus Punch on the switch, because Steels and Rocks wall Keckleon with their "Let's just STAB then Earthquake him" mentality. Return vs. Body Slam is power vs. paralysis. Sucker Punch is for priority, but don't fling this around as you become setup fodder doing so.

Houndoom @ Life Orb
Flash Fire
Timid
EV's: 40 HP, 252 Special Attack, 216 Speed
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower / Fire Blast
-Dark Pulse
-Hidden Power Fighting / Will-O-Wisp

Houndoom is a personal favorite of mine, because it's so fun :p Anyway, it's no Infernape, but it's definitely better than Ninetales. Two useful immunities help it switch in easily and scare out a lot of things. You then NP on the switch and proceed to rock & roll. HP Fighting better be the Hidden Power your Houndoom has, just saying. If you don't posess HP Fighting, then switch to Will-O-Wisp.

Hope I helped. :)

luke November 14th, 2008 12:23 PM

Gyarados does the Dragon Dancing thing a lot better than Feraligatr. If you're going to use it, go with Swords Dance.

Nytkoi November 14th, 2008 1:48 PM

Can I have a competetive battling movesets for this team;
Delcatty
Infernape
Flygon
Scizor
Kingdra
Umbreon

Thanks. =]
Also, Im really new to this, so Im not sure what kind of strategy would be best for this team.
If you want to suggest a diff pokemon, Im fine with that. (dont move scizor. scizor is ownage :3)
I think I need to have a type of normal type to cpver the types I missed/don't have. (ex. grass, I have no grass...)

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa cowboy...I hope you aren't implying that DD Feraligatr isn't a better Dragon Dancer than Gyarados or on par with it...

For one thing, Gyarados has more attack (hugely important), so Feraligatr is a million times easier to wall. Gyarados also can survive a lot of electric attacks like HP Electric from Vaporeon, who has 110 base SAtk (same as Lucario's base attack).

It's great that Feraligatr got you some wins on WiFi, but you're lying to yourself saying that Feraligatr is better. It just isn't. The usage patterns kind of agree with me there =p I actually think Gyarados is overrated but that's a whole different issue lol.

Brit Spears is right though. If you use Feraligatr, SD is what you should use. Otherwise, you would be better off using Gyarados (unless your team is insanely SR weak with no wish support or spinner or something, and even then, DDgatr probably isn't the best choice).

. November 14th, 2008 7:31 PM

Honestly, DD Feraligatr is vastly inferior to DD Gyarados. While it has more bulk, Intimidate basically negates that. If use a SubSD Set, which has been very sucessful for me:

Feraligatr @ Salac Berry
Jolly
252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP (30 HP IV)
Swords Dance
Substitute
Waterfall
Return/Crunch

This has a lot more attack than Gyarados pound for pound, and has Torrent to make its Waterfall incredibly beastly.

Hmmm... Try this for CBPhan:

Donphan uses Ice Shard
Sceptile faints.

Better?

EDIT:
Vance and those concerned, Quick Feet is a 1.5x boost to Spd. Agility is 2x. Also, considering Quick Feet does not remove the 25% full paralysis chance, the +2/Guts variant would both outspeed it and have no chance of locking up.

CM Alakazam can work well. It CMs on a switch, having an effective Specs Boost, with no move-lock and some Special Bulk. One huge problem with the Specs set is that most of it's movepool has several types that can switch in, forcing it out. (Psychic, Ghost and Fighting all have types that are immune to them) Without Specs, it avoids this.

Oh and ScarfChomp, Attacks that lower accuracy are permitted, although moves that increase evasion aren't. This is because the effects can be removed if the pokemon with lowered acc. switches or faints. Therefore, Sand Attack is not banned.

Ninja Caterpie November 15th, 2008 2:51 AM

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal

Spore
Leech Seed

Well, I need a bit of help with the EV spread. I also get screwed over by ghost types, so I can opt out either Focus Punch or Subs for a Grass move, I guess.

Oh, I thought it doubled speed. Also, people definately switch QF Ursaring into Thunder Wave. Guts is slow as hell, and even with Max Speed @ Jolly, it only reaches 229 Speed (laughable)

It needs Sub imo or else it's revenge killed by too many things (although it CAN live a Gengar's Shadow Ball...with a hell of a lot SpD investment.

I want to bulid a team based around Umbreon, because he's my favorite. Now all I need is everything, like moveset for said Umbreon, other party members, with moveset and recommended Natures, this is all for my challange of the Battle Frontier. Thanks in advance.

bav123 November 15th, 2008 4:41 PM

I suppose you could, but you need a way to cover your obvious massive weakness to fighting :P

I'm not sure of exact movesets, but Crunch and Shadow Ball should definitely be in them, but apart from that I'm not too sure.

I guess you could, and I may be giving you false information here, but I can try.

Okay, moveset for Umbreon:
Umbreon @ Leftovers / Bold Nature
Synchronize
EVs 252 HP 252 Defense 4 SDef
Mean Look
Baton Pass
Curse
Rest

This moveset is to pass on to a different Pokemon, such as Snorlax. Curse until you're happy, Rest when needed, then pass away. Careful of Haze, though, although there isn't too much of that in the Battle Frontier, iirc.

Snorlax @ Choice Band / Adamant Nature
Immunity
EVs 252 Atk 252 Defense 4 SDef
Return
Shadow Ball
Earthquake
Brick Break / Rest

Okay, a lot of people probably want to shoot me for proposing that move set, but hear me out. After Curse has been passed, this thing will have a monstrous amount of attack. This is to be used AFTER Curse has been passed. You can choose Brick Break or Rest. The problem with using Rest is that it would be locked into using it, so Brick Break would probably be best.

Now, since you have a double weakness to fighting:

Alakazam @ Petaya / Lum Berry / Timid Nature
Synchronize
EVs No idea for this guy. >.>
Psychic
Calm Mind
Thunder Punch
Ice Punch

A very strong sweeper, Psychic kills the fighting threat.

I'm a noob when it comes to EVs, having never trainer a Pokemon in EVs. These are just suggestions, and the team doesn't really focus around Umbreon. The thing is, Umbreon is a tank / BPasser. Hope I helped.

Eleventyseventy November 15th, 2008 5:52 PM

Depends on the set. Life Orb and Choice Specs are the most common, but again, depends on the set and what you want to do with it.

Tyranitar042 November 15th, 2008 7:41 PM

are you just having fun with umbreon and trying to make it a competitor and such or wat its crucial that we get this info build around umbreon or build off him?

Umbreon Leftovers (for health regeneration)
Modest nature
124 spatk ev's/132 defense ev's/124 spdef ev's/128 spd ev's

Faint Attack
Confuse Ray
Toxic
Psychic
(Role: Nasty Tank) It can defend for itself and can cause some nasty damage as well confuse then poison. I know nobody would use an umbreon this way but sometimes its fun to use it this way mainly b/c everyone's choice is to use as a sub/toss and no attack moves what happens when your so called sweepers die maybe just maybe you need to rely on umbreon for a close finishing blow and with no attack for itself it's virtually useless.

Alakazam Shell Bell (damage done can be rewarded)
Modest Nature
252 spatk ev's/252 spd ev's/4 def ev's

Psychic
Thunderpunch
Calm Mind
Fire Punch
(Role: Special Sweeper) Alakazam is one of my favorites b/c of the amazing speed and special attack. He is fast enough for the first strike and can finish them in one shot. He is not only my personal opinion but a recommendation and must have as a special sweeper in my mind. Use him for those pokemon that occasionally are known for low special defense like Rhydon for example and any fighting types. One flaw though he is subject to physical attacks but no worries he is fast enough to deal the damage needed.

Primeape Shell Bell (same as Alakazam
Adamant
252 atk ev's/252 spd ev's/4 def ev's

Cross Chop
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Bulk Up
(Role: Physical Sweeper) Primape is the Physical Alakazam. He has amazing speed for a fighting type and can learn a wide range of physical attacks that can be very lethal. One major flaw to Primeape is his Defense all around very bad defense makes him a very easy target and can be eliminated quick if not careful but shouldn't have any worries.

EV's may be a little mixed for umbreon but spd and special attack is needed for this team as well as defense. So anybody that doesnt like how umbreon is deal with it i just cant stand it when you teach a pokemon NO attack moves. Everyone is saying it's strategy but it only works if they're baton passed sweepers are faster and hopefully the sub stays up.(VERY RISKY)

Post Office Buddy November 15th, 2008 11:05 PM

I would suggest first deciding which other Pokemon you would want to use before asking for advice. There are hundreds we could help you choose, and any we suggest might not be the one you are after. Plus, the remaining party members would depend on what role you want Umbreon to play. Each role has a different team that would affect its effectiveness.

Bold
252 Hp, 128 Defence, 128 Sp.Defence

Wish
Curse
Baton Pass
Taunt/Payback

Taunt will stop people from stat upping while you use curse, payback will give you an attack to use if someone taunts you, up to you. Always use wish first, curse till wish activates, then repeat, in no time at all, you'll have +6 attack+Defense to pass onto a sweeper or tank or wtv you want.

This is what I suggested to Tyranitar042 in a different thread:

CBMence should be your lead-off hitter. That allows you to hit hard right off the bat with the move of your choice, and then switch out accordingly. This hit and run tactic is vital because with the proper strategy you can bring it back in to sweep towards the end of the game.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 148 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) or Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Wish
- Charm/Curse/Toxic

Pretty self-explanatory. Umby makes very strong Subs. Sub first and then have some fun. The last move is strictly your preference. Charm really takes the bite out of any physical attacker (i.e. Machamp), but doesn't do squat against special sweepers. Curse is used multiple times, put up a fresh Sub, Wish as needed, and then Pass to your physical sweeper holding a White Herb. Can you imagine the damage Mence or Metagross or TTar could do behind a Sub and their Atk and Def increased by 3 levels? It destroys EVERYTHING you would ever encounter in BF. Toxic is, of course, a guaranteed KO in most cases. While Umby has no offensive moves of its own, it doesn't have the stats to be effective in that way anyway. SubPassing and WishPassing, not to mention CursePassing, works crazy well in the BF, especially since the AI doesn't switch out nearly as often as a real opponent does.

Gengar @ Shell Bell/Lum Berry/White Herb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 152 Atk / 170 SAtk / 186 Spd
Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch/Giga Drain
- Hypnosis/Will-O-Wisp/Destiny Bond
- Explosion/Focus Punch

Your special sweeper. How you utilize though is up to you. I have usually gone TB/IP/GD/FP. TB and IP gives you great type coverage, GD is mainly for Swampert and HP recovery, and FP only if you go with SubPass Umby. Hypnosis for obvious reasons. WOW disables and DB can be useful at times. Explosion takes out physical walls and is a good going away present and is more useful than FP if you don't have the benefit of a Sub. The item again really depends on the rest of your team. Shell Bell might work better on one of your physical attackers. Lum cures all, but White Herb is for CursePassing Umby. Your SubPassed Gengar, with its SAtk and leveled up Atk and Def is pretty powerful.

Winning team. I would say Gold Symbol guaranteed, but only if proper strategy is followed. Good luck.

Something like that?

But seriously, no forward planning is needed to beat the game. The games are aimed at ages 3+ and have AI to match. Just play through it, catch the pokes you like, level up as much as possible and aim to hit for SE damage.

Tyranitar042 November 16th, 2008 9:02 AM

It really depends on what he wants to get accomplished either do great in the frontier or not and just have fun with umbreon (since he said its his favorite im not sure that he wants to make it a supporter like everyone is making him)

Thank you for that team it helped alot and worked really good i have pokerus for my pokemon so it was really easy to ev train.

Rollout and Strength suck hard.

Fire Fang gives you coverage and Stone Edge is vastly superior to rollout as it locks you in and takes many turns to do any damage.

Get rid of roll out cause it sucks, use stone edge and use rapid spin cause it's useful, if not use some random filler like fire fang, hell even roar. :/

I was thinking of swapping out substitute for hp ice. I got substitute for annoyers using toxic, swagger, confuse ray, whirlpool, etc. but when up against a pokemon that's super effective against espeon or that has a strong atk, substitute fades in one hit and since it takes away hp, when I go to heal, a super effective move can sweep me. I would replace it with grass knot but already used it on another pokemon. any suggestions?

papabopp November 17th, 2008 11:38 AM

id like the best options 4 a raindance team plz (excluding ludicolo)

Angelic Diablo November 17th, 2008 1:49 PM

Best options are Swift Swimmers and Dry Skin pokemon...

Omastar, Kabutops, Kingdra, Ludicolo, Huntail, Gorebyss, Relicanth, Floatzel

Most of these pokemon have average speed, so doubling it due to Rain can make sweepers out of tanks (Kabutops etc). Kingdra and Ludicolo are probably the main ones used in OU, some of the others are better off in UU but can survive if used right.

Toxicroak is the only real Dry Skin useable pokemon, well one could opt for Parasect, but Spore isn't really that great on such a fragile pokemon.

Now as for setting up Rain Dance, apart from the pokemon that actually take advantage of it (Ludicolo, Kingdra etc) you can use pokemon like Bronzong and Celebi to set the rain flowing, hell even Aerodactyl could use a suicidal rain dance set up if you want.

There has always only been one Life Orb in the game, people just decided to clone it a few times on the GTS.

Plus this forum does have a trading section, I'm sure if you got WiFi someone can give you one

How do i clone with GTS?

This belongs in the Request A Team / Individual Moveset thread, but seeing as how it's out of my section, I can't merge it there D: So I'll just move this over to Strategies & Movesets, and one of the mods there can merge it for you~

Heart's Soul November 17th, 2008 5:18 PM

Is this a good Battle Tower Team?

Tyranitar
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
Giga Impact - Massive damage and usually Last-chance KO
Earthquake (PP MAX) - Basic Ground move, really helps
Crunch (PP UP x 2) - Basic hitter, Pesky Psychics
Rock Throw - Oh, right, Flying types... yeah, those are evil and for double-battles without hurting others
Item: Life Orb
Max. EV for Attack
Idea: Depends on who I face. This Tyranitar gains a STAB boost for half of it's moves and KO-s most types in 1, maybe 2 hits. Giga Impact is a last-resort move if my Tyranitar is almost KO-d or that's the last enemy or when I feel overconfident. Earthquake is very basic and powerful, Crunch is a great move too, with STAB and item/EV/Nature boost, making it a very dangerous hit against Alakazam.

Cresselia (Shiny)
Nature: Calm
Moveset:
Psychic (PP MAX) - Basic Attack
Substitute - What else am I going to annoy with?
Toxic (PP UP) - The reason for Substitute and the PP UP is if that PkMn healed.
Moonlight (PP MAX) - If Leftovers are too slow, use this
Item: Leftovers
MAX EV for Defense/Sp. Defense
Idea: Well, it starts out with Toxic and then throws in a Substitute for damage resistance and then protects itself and heals with Leftovers and if the enemy destroyes the Sub, make a new one and heal with Moonlight, and sooner or later, Bad Poisoning will KO the other one and do a bit more damage with Psychic.

Infernape
Nature: Modest
Moveset:
Flamethrower (PP MAX)- Basic Fire move + STAB
Nasty Plot- Sp. Attack boost, big hitter here
Grass Knot (PP UP x 1) - Get rid of heavy fighters and Water/Ground/Rock types
Focus Blast - gains STAB...
Item: Expert Belt
MAX EV for Sp. Attack/Speed, 4 for HP
Idea: Starting off with Nasty Plot, Infernape gains a boost for all three moves, with Focus Blast and Flamethrower also having STAB. I replaced Close Combat due to lack of Nasty Boost for Focus Blast, even with unreliable accuracy, but it's a Blissey KO-er. When in doubt, bring out Flamethrower when it's HP is under 1/3rd, meaning, it gets STAB, Expert Boost, Nature/EV boost and Blaze to make it an Overheat that won't make you weaker!

Tyranitar was my choice, Cresselia too, Infernape's idea was from Serebii.

The Hero Without a Name November 17th, 2008 5:50 PM

...You're aware that STAB Stone Edge does just as much as Giga Impact in one turn, and given that you can use Stone Edge twice in a row...

Skip Shot November 17th, 2008 6:30 PM

I actually think that Calm Mind or Charge Beam would go better on Cresselia than Sub.

Lol @ Tyranitar. No Giga Impact please. I hate the recoil of that. Go with Dragon Dance>> it for DD Tar to tear up the Tower. Also, why throw silly little rocks at the little kids when you can tear them apart with Stone Edge?

Infernape... I would say either go all-out Ape and try to get HP Electric/Ice on there if you can get it(check your IVs, pm me if you need an IV calc), or stick with this set and go LO>>EB.

Also, if you can, try to max PP on everything.

Keyaki November 17th, 2008 7:22 PM

I just thought of something,, What if i give my Carnivine Sword Dance then Baton Pass to my Staraptor? Since my Staraptor in Platinum is gonna be a physical sweeper, along with Choice Band, it should work right?

luke November 17th, 2008 7:25 PM

I generally don't like passing stat ups to Choice Item users as they tend to be more hit and run Pokemon. Instead, throw Life Orb on that Staraptor.

Empoleon's moves should be (or can be)
- Surf
- HP Electric/Ice Beam/Grass knot
- Stealth Rock/Knock Off (if you can get access to platinum)/Protect
- Yawn/Toxic

Froslass's moves should be (or can be)

Heart's Soul November 18th, 2008 9:28 AM

All right, I fixed it up a bit...

Tyranitar
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
NEW ATTACK: Stone Edge - Massive STAB and still as powerful as before.
Earthquake (PP MAX) - Basic Ground move, really helps
Crunch (PP UP x 2) - Basic hitter, Pesky Psychics
NEW ATTACK: Dragon Dance - Yeah, I decided to give myself Dragon Dance, to a Attack boost. Sword Dance doesn't work on Tyranitar and I won't use PokeSAV. Speed Boost is minimal.
Item: Life Orb
Max. EV for Attack
Idea: Depends on who I face, but usually Sandstorm is affective. This Tyranitar gains a STAB boost for all of it's moves and KO-s most types in 1, maybe 2 hits, and usually turns into a OHKO with Dragon Dance. Stone Edge replaces Giga Impact due to STAB boost and it also can be launched twice IF the attack won't miss. Earthquake is very basic and powerful, Crunch is a great move too, with STAB and item/EV/Nature boost, making it a very dangerous hit against Alakazam.

Cresselia (Shiny)
Nature: Calm
Moveset:
Psychic (PP MAX) - Basic Attack
Substitute (PP MAX) - NOT CHANGED DUE TO: The fact that Substitute is my best stalling attack, which will leave me on the field for a few more turns.
Toxic (PP UP x 2) - The reason for Substitute and the PP UP is if that PkMn healed.

Attack boost, big hitter here
Hidden Power [Ice] (PP MAX) - Get rid of heavy fighters and Water/Ground/Rock types- no STAB boost, unfortunately.
Focus Blast (MAX PP) - gains STAB...
When in doubt, bring out Flamethrower when it's HP is under 1/3rd, meaning, it gets STAB, Expert Boost, Nature/EV boost and Blaze to make it an Overheat that won't make you weaker!

luke November 18th, 2008 10:10 AM

Moonlight + Sand Stream = 25% Healing. :\ They don't mix at all.

Heart's Soul November 18th, 2008 12:31 PM

What other recovery move do you expect me to use? I can use PokeSAV to generate a stronger move (Recover), but I won't.
.....
........
[But that is a good idea.]
..........
.......
....
Yeah, best not to hack up a Pokemon, I have a good enough Shiny Cresselia.

Gentle = no for Regirock, as it will lower his defense. He wants careful/impish.

Regirock @ Leftovers
Careful
252 HP / 6 Def / 252 Sp Def
Toxic
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge
Hammer Arm / Earthquake / Ice Punch

This is a great supporting set. Toxic or Stealth Rock on switches. The last slot is up to you, and ALWAYS use him in a sandstorm so he can get a much needed Special Defense boost.

Heart's Soul November 18th, 2008 3:57 PM

You're looking for a Giratina? Well, it gets a Ghost/Dragon boost from Platinum Orbe, so I'll give you a good hitter.

Draco Meteor (STAB) (EV) (ITEM)
Thunder (EV)
Hidden Power [Fire] (EV)
Shadow Ball (STAB) (EV) (ITEM)
Nature: Modest
EV's 252 Hit Points/252 Sp. Attack/4 Defence

Also, why does everyone use all points, I leave a few extra... Yes, I do that.

Celebi @ Leftovers / Focus Sash
Bold
252 HP / 232 DEF / 20 Speed

Para the first guy, Stealth rock, leech seed, para etc. If you get statused, switching out is a very good tactic.

The question is, does it work?

Yes it does work.

Recover>> Leech Seed imo, lets you live longer and counter Gyarados better.

Grass Knot should be primary option and non negotiable.

If your using HP ice, use it >> either T-Wave or SR.

Celebi is WAY too bulky for a sash, leftovers plox. Oh and dont lead with it, other things do that way better =/.

I don't really follow you. Why switches? I just stall, but usually make switches and 11HKO [or under...] them after I throw Toxic.

Causing switches to spread para ?
And stealth rock hurts them as they switch, but leech seed gives them all the more reason to switch

Now I understand. Plus, Leech Seed can also wipe off any damage received. [You are nuts...] Also, I guess you're set, but change the EV's to:
228 HP / 252 Speed / 34 Sp. Attack
And you got yourself an annoyer. Gives off a minimal boost to Grass Knot, moves first chance increased by over 10x and HP may be a little lower than expected.

Knock off does damage anyway, which will negate that sash's effects all on it's own. Knocking it off is irrelevant. You're better off going with a support set and maxing out HP and Defense. But honestly, Spiritomb outclasses it in every way and makes for an infinitely better lead.

Spiritomb @ leftovers
Careful
252 HP / 140 Att / 116 Sp Def
Sucker Punch / Taunt
Pursuit / Taunt
Pain Split
Will-o-wisp

Go with this > Sableye please...It can deal with other leads with taunt, cripple physical attackers with WoW and heal with pain split.

Would this work at all as a lead?:

[email protected] Berry
252 hp/252 atk/6 Def
Adamant/Early Bird
- Sub
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake

It's basically supposed to fill the role as Machamp, but I'm getting kind of sick of him. I see a lot of T-Tar leads these days, so I can set up a sub on the turn it DDs, then brick break on the second. Ice Punch is for gliscor and dragons, and EQ is for heatran wanting to switch in and ruin your fun.

soo, would it work? I don't have time to test this out

You could use starmie with

[email protected]
timid nature
natural cure
special atk252/spe252/special def 6
thunder
icebeam
Hydropump/surf
grass knot/rapid spin

dont use rapid spin in the BT,i just put it there because........?
Grassknot for swampert, ice beam for grass types, water type moves for stab and rain power and thunder to be accurated by rain.

overall i would keep kaboutops but this set is just if you prefer, you can also create a lapras set like this using icebeam surf/pump and thunder but ill let you find that one out yourself

oh and finally, dragon pulse is not needed on kingdra cus you have icebeam.
kingdra should have HPelectric but you dont want hidden power,if you try and get HPelectric, well lucky you

Wait, what ?

Both those have Taunt and 3/4 moveslots are non attacking and both take lol damage from both HP ice and Grass Knot, so no you dont beat azelf and aero.

Honestly there are much better suicide leads than celebi.

But as a support pokemon (T-Wave/SR or Hp Ice/Grass Knot/Recover) is a great set, use it as a support poke and not a lead though.
