Forwarn trait
252 EVs SpA/6 SpD/252 Spe
Modest/Timid nature (it can pass the 300 SpA without a nature, but can only pass the 300 Spe with a nature, so I would preffer Timid)
~Ice Beam Or Blizzard if Abomasnow has presence in your team
~Psychic
~Enery Ball/Grass Knot (if Wailord and similars are psting your team, Grass Knot. If Lanturn, Enery Ball)
~Focus Blast/Shadow Ball (Focus Blast add very vital coverage against Steel, and also removes Rocks and other Ice-types, but pffers awful accuracy; Shadow Ball is for Ghosts and other Psychics, but makes you stuck against most Steels)

So? Focus Blast is Base 180 while Aura Sphere is Base 135. Aura Sphere cannot 2HKO Calm Blissey, whereas Focus Blast can.

What? Weavile has 120 base attack and 125 base speed. That's not good for you? He can even suprise kill Medicham and Gallade with Shadow Claw. We are talking about probably the best Dark type in the game, excluding Darkai, who is Uber.

Hahahaha, woah. Weavile's okay, but he's not better than Tyranitar moveslot wise. He doesn't affect the metagame like TTar with his Sandstream and movepool that stretches over the horizon.

I'm sorry, but this was just a bad post.

Maybe because you don't know HOW to use him?

Blissey I'm a little hesitant about using since sandstorm really cuts into it surviving. What are some of the other special walls?

SS cuts it's surviving? No...With Lefies, Blissey doesn't take any damage (though it doesn't gain HP either) The best Special Wall for SS is Regirock. Without a doubt

thanx i needed that really helpfull

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 8:46 AM

oh,hi.can somebody tell me a good move set for luxray.can u not include egg moves as my luxray is lvl100

Dark Destiny August 28th, 2008 8:59 AM

Hmm... I was randomly breeding Togepi's and I got these IV's
22 hp
31 Att
27 Def
16-19 Sp.ATT
10-11 Sp.Def
10 Spd

I didn't mean to breed for IV's but i think they're pretty good altho the att/def are pointless since a Togekiss should be used for a sp.att sweeper or sp.def wall (i think)

Now the moveset i'm using is this (off Smogen)
Togekiss
252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe
Nasty Plot
Roost
Air Slash
AuraSphere

I could use that ryt?

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:01 AM

would chare beam be a good choice for luxray
oh yeh good stats for a lvl1 togepi

Walrein August 28th, 2008 9:10 AM

Rebreed. You'll thank yourself after that.

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:12 AM

Trust me, I'm working hard now for Medicham.

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:17 AM

but do u no a good move set without breeding

Cacttus August 28th, 2008 9:17 AM

Final: Wondering if your going to use that Luxray for something?

Destiny: You might want to breed for the right Iv's.

My brother started his pearl over and I stole his starter lucky his game is glitched so it doesn't save any trades or save at all.

I'm already done Ev training just wondering on a good moveset.I know I could have bred BK on it,but I wanted it cause its Female.

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/togekiss

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:23 AM

please help me.what is Ev training anyway

Dark Destiny August 28th, 2008 9:27 AM

Never used a togekiss before, but i've been reading about it and i wanna make it a sweeper =S
with the min 16 Sp IV, i'll be in the middle if IV's range from 0-31. I might use it for the moment. and Rebreed in the future.

But is the EV spread and moveset ryt?

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:29 AM

is any 1 goin to help me cus if ya do ill make it worth your while

Togekiss @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Modest
252 HP/152 SpA/106 Spe
Air Slash
Aura Sphere
Nasty Plot
Roost/Thunder Wave

Use Roost over T-Wave honestly. Unless you have qualms with it.

LethalTexture August 28th, 2008 9:42 AM

If you wanna get into competitive battling, then you might as well learn to breed now. It's a major part of the whole thing, and if you don't do it then you'll be at a major disadvantage over your adversaries.

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:45 AM

im sorry but ive had my luxray since the start of the game.can u just tell me a good moveset for him

If you've been using Luxray since the beginning of the game, and using him for battles, then it's not good. Scrap it and re-breed.

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:48 AM

for the last time NO.anyway i dont hav wifi so competetive battlin is out the window.just tell me a few good movesets.pwitty pwease

. August 28th, 2008 9:49 AM

Wait...So this is for ingame? Dude, just keep using the moves he gets as he levels up. Anything owns ingame.

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:51 AM

I no but i just want him to no cool moves just help please.i saidit wood be worth ur while

Zurich August 28th, 2008 9:52 AM

If you dont really like breeding you could use this moveset:
Adamant
Crunch
Thunder fang
Roar
Return

This is the moveset i used for ingame.....

FinalPaladin August 28th, 2008 9:53 AM

any that include charge beam

Nooooooooooooo
So what if it's ingame? Luxray must have Ice Fang. The usefulness of an Ice-type move on an Electric-type is enought to make the two other moves fillers.
So, Luxray:
Breed for 31 or close IVs in attack and speed
@Choice Band
Jolly nature (breed with a female Jolly Shinx holding an Everstone, that will give the baby a 50% chance to be Jolly as well)
Intimidate trait
6 EVs HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
~Thunder Fang/Spark
~Ice Fang
~Crunch
~Fire Fang (Iron Tail loses to Magnezone, while using it insted of Crunch will make you lose to Lanturn and it's X1/4 Steel resistance)
