please use this

pokemon @item
nature:
Trait:
Evs:
-move 1
-move 2
-move 3
-move 4

if you use that people can help you out better

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 1:53 AM

will any one help me with my party
or is it too early?

Iceman3k January 1st, 2008 5:23 AM

I'm not editting that ENTIRE TEAM, so here's a few pointers.
And also, Hax Items (Quick Claw, Lax Incense, BrightPowder) are banned from standard play. Items that only raise 1 type of attack (TwistedSpoon lol) serve no global use.

Forretress - Using ALL 3 SPIKE ATTACKS is a total overkill. It needs Rapid Spin, and Earthquake.

Clefable - Needs Calm Mind or Softboiled. If you want to use it for support, Wish and Protect are the way to go.

Gardevoir - Double Team is banned from basic play. Needs Will-O-Wisp, Hypnosis, or Thunder Wave (Pick one, don't use all 3 =/)

Gallade - Fantastic irony how you have both Gardys on the same team o.O
Close Combat over Slash.

Milotic - Recover over Aqua Ring

Mamoswine - That Mamoswine is a disgrace! You just made me cry with that ;_;! This is a REAL Mamoswine

Mamoswine @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
- Ice Fang

Or if you want, you can use my custom :horns: set

Mamoswine @ Leftovers ** :horns:
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 172 HP / 156 Atk / 60 SAtk / 120 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Substitute
- Ice Shard / Stone Edge

Last, but not least

Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 172 HP / 196 Atk / 40 Def / 100 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
- Body Slam

Last words of wisdom. Change the EVs, change the natures. Get out there and do some research.

Azonic January 1st, 2008 7:12 AM

Remember that the EVs should be in a number that is divisible by for. 252 is divisible by 4, 255 isn't. So 255 would be wasting 3 valuable EV points. 252 is the maximum you should go for evs in any stat.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Defense / 4 SDefense
- Surf
- Icebeam
- Hypnosis
- Recover

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 9:03 AM

wait
i thought 4 Ev points equal 1 stat point

i mean does 1 extra defense point mean that much

Kittyipawd January 1st, 2008 9:05 AM

well think about it this way if you put 255 you get nothin if you put 252 inyo 2 sats and have 6 left over there put to better use and yes in long run it will matter but not a whole lot though.

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 9:35 AM

Special Wall--Togetic Ok
Tank--Miltank

Why two tanks?

This team is ok, but is overly physical. Scrap one of the tanks for a special sweeper and give clefable Calm Mind and use her as a 'special tank'

evilcheese January 1st, 2008 10:47 AM

togekiss is not a wall nor a tank it is an annoyer

:/

Not even close. I'd call Togekiss a wall with that bulky 115 base SDef and respectable Defense.

Annoyer Togekiss sucks, it's rediculously easy to counter. And have you ever seen a tank togekiss? Now THOSE are annoying.

Annoyer togekiss is only one of its sets, don't be so closed-minded.

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 10:54 AM

whats is a togekiss

first time i've heard of it

Anti January 1st, 2008 10:56 AM

Well, TOGEKISS is a pokemon? lol, Togekiss is a GOOD pokemon in the right hands.

EDIT: I believe its typing is flying/normal. I don't think Smogon shows that :P

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 11:06 AM

What pokemon are considered a special sweepers

sims796 January 1st, 2008 11:07 AM

I have changed all the things that need to be changed. Hope you like it.

evilcheese January 1st, 2008 11:16 AM

i think the spreads should be diffrent. i mean 255 in every stat. there has to be a smarter spread. max in 2 stats is usually only good for sweepers

Eos Aduro January 1st, 2008 11:46 AM

Well Paraflinching Togekiss isnt bad, I;ve gotten full HP Blissey down with mine. I just need to remember to change Softboiled to Roost. To remove all my weaks.

Shinnfaifer January 1st, 2008 12:35 PM

whats parafliching btw.

(is there a topic with all these terms)

Eos Aduro January 1st, 2008 12:38 PM

Paraflinching is a way to use Togekiss, Togekiss has Thunder Wave and Air Slash. After a Thunder Wave, the foe is parlyzed and slowed down, and since Togekisses ability is Serene Grace, Air Slash flinches a LOT, I forget the percentage. So its easy to cripple the opponent.

Why are they using Blissey to beat a togekiss? O_o

And yeah, paraflinching is paralyzing and them air slashing with the serene grace boost. Unstopable with no good counters, but really isn't good if your opponent knows how to beat it.

Eos Aduro January 1st, 2008 1:49 PM

it is easily countered by dragons, like Garchomp, but still a decent strategy.
