I dont know one person who liked having braces.

I didn't enjoy having braces but I'm really glad I had them anyway, theyve made a massive improvement to my teeth. >_>

Most teenagers get wonky teeth due to not brushing their gums properly - if you delay orthodontics now, you're making it worse for youself if you choose to have them in the future. Also it's free for kids on the NHS.
I believe your mum is making a very wrong decision- yes braces hurt, but only for a short period. Avoiding braces won't make the problem any better. ¬_¬

dentistry ftw. =D

Braces are just there. They say not to eat corn, gum, etc. but it hasn't done anything to me so far.

I know. It's heartbreaking, isn't it? The world just seems to weep in my absence. Whether they're tears of joy or sorrow, I dunno.

It really is. I spent years talking to you. You and Jorge scarred me for life. I was only 11 (or 12), you should go to jail for that.

ASG January 1st, 2008 3:05 PM

i feel a lawsuit coming on...... j/k

That really really could've been worded better to avoid making me look like a paedophile. Or just not worded at all, that would've been super. And I did nothing to scar anybody. That is an unfounded statement and I resent it deeply.

Pink socks.

Oh, I did that on purpose. :3 SERVES U RITE SUCKA.
It's okay if you want to deny it. But you'll never live it down.

Did you have a White Christmas?

That's okay. You were in a fourgy with two guys and a gay girl. Quite the little whore, aren't you? :)

And no, my Christmas wasn't white in any way. Sadly. If you had a white Christmas, you had a damn good Christmas.

Chibi-chan January 1st, 2008 3:32 PM

My Christmas was roughly 75 F.

I had one hawt Christmas alright.

It was hardly a fourgy you stupid pedo. It was a PAIRING. Besides, you were in it, too. Says a lot about you, doesn't it? :D

SICKO.

I'm glad I never needed braces D:

I wear glasses though. I don't mind it, but I want colored contacts now.

Margot January 1st, 2008 3:49 PM

I had colored contacts in 8th grade, they were turquois and then I got blue. Not a lot of people could tell the difference, even though I have dark brown eyes. I thought it was obvious, but apparently not XD They were fun though :>

It's only the first day. Things are most likely gonna pick up XD

I alternate between glasses (at home) and contacts (when I go out). I've wanted coloured contacts for a while now as well (a bright blue set would be awesome), but I ain't sure if they make them for those on a prescription as well.

Though I wonder if wearing two layers of contacts will work :P

awwwh damn. I have dark brown eyes as well :< But then again, people could tell that I was wearing contacts when I first got them - apparently my eyes were shinier *-*

No one noticed that one day you had brown eyes and the next day you had blue? XD
I think coloured contacts would be cool to have. I want lyk... one blue eye, and one brown eye. I like my blue eyes, though. So I probably wouldn't wear them often.

Well maybe your friends aren't colorblind like mine XD Hah, they noticed when you actually got them? =o I can never tell when people are wearing contacts. Pretty spiffy ;D

No o_o I mean, I was sitting across from my friend and I was complaining that my contacts were dry and she was like "um...you're wearing contacts?" I told her they were blue and she still couldn't tell </3 I then later asked my other friends and they agreed XD I think like 2 people noticed.

My friend did something like that! T'was pretty cool actually.

k, I understand now. :x Are they uncomfortable to wear?
My friend got these really, really, really bright orange ones that she wears all the time. I don't understand it because she complains that they irritate her eyes all the time. Plus, she blinds me every time I look at her eyes. D:

Ayano Katagiri January 1st, 2008 4:22 PM

Do contacts still work as well if their different coloured to the person's eyes? That's something I've heard before but never really known since I don't wear contacts.

I can't stand the thought of sticking it in my eye... D:

Warheart January 1st, 2008 4:28 PM

I've had colored contacts before. There was a time where I would just alternate my eye color like, every week, but they made my eyes horribly sore after a while. i wasn't used to wearing contacts because I never had a perscription for them (You didn't need one for these, they weren't for vision, just a layer that would add color, and make you look all badass). They were cool, but started getting expensive after a while (Like, $40 a box containing 3 pairs that would only last a few weeks xD), and I needed a new fitting so i just..stopped buying them.

You don't really feel them unless they get dry, and when they do yeah, it's irritating :< Uncomfortable? They usually aren't, though they can be for me because I have an astigmatism (lul, spelling on that may be wrong) so one of my eyes doesn't work well with contacts and it hurts at times. But they make special contacts for those, which I may be getting soon =o!

They make bright orange ones? XD That would blind people ;;

I think it's pretty much the same but they don't work as well as normal because of the color on the contact. I may be wrong on that, but I think I remember my eye doctor saying that :3

It's not that bad though ;D The first few times are annoying though XD

I find it silly how they are so expensive. I saw a box at Wal-Mart that were three pairs for $50.00. It was ridiculous. ;; I could buy a volume of anime for that much money. Or like...a million boxes of pudding.

You can see the rim of the contacts if you look closely at their eye. My ones have a blue tinge.

After you get used to them, you barely even notice they're there.

ASG January 1st, 2008 5:00 PM

Yup, it's fun looking for contacts when they're in other peoples eyes. Mine are tinted blue to.

Shiny January 1st, 2008 5:08 PM

My brothers friend has coloured contatcs, he met up with my brother one day & WTF his got red eyes lol

Sorano January 1st, 2008 5:11 PM

I've decided I'm going to invest in some purple contacts. When I get my pay-check. And a job. :3
