That gives him a grand total of 3 grass weaks and 2 water-psychic types. But I agree, you do need some special defense, and maybe a physical wall/phazer, so SKARMBLISS!

Skarmory-Leftovers/Shed Shell
Impish-252 HP, 204 Def, 44 Attack
Brave Bird/Drill Peck
Roost
Spikes/Stealth Rock
Whirlwind

Blissey-Leftovers
Bold-252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpDef
Seismic Toss/Thunder Wave/Protect
Aromatherapy
Softboiled/Wish
Ice Beam/Counter/Charm

I have a Skarmory with fairly nice IVS in Defense HP and around a 20 IV in Speed.

That looks good, a litle more defense would be nice, like 204 Def, 44 Attack is what I run.

Yeah it would but it's already eved..

Eos Aduro January 4th, 2008 12:18 PM

Hmm, well it should still work, so long as you keep carefull of electric attacks.

But Skarm needs WAY more defense, especially this gen.

Also, fire Fang on Garchomp. your team massacres Skarmory anyways.

Sub works nicely, I'd rather stick with it.

Eos Aduro January 4th, 2008 12:29 PM

If you;re using Sub, use Outrage, Sub, Swords Dacne, and Outrage make for a few dead Pokes.

Seriously, Skarmory needs a lot of defense in this generation with attacks hitting as hard as they do. Otherwise it'll be on its detah bed. subSkarm is good, but still needs plenty of defense.

EDIT: Oh, Garchomp >.> Eh, sub is fine, but you WILL get pretty badly walled.

Chompah :x January 4th, 2008 12:32 PM

That's why Mence has FlameThrower.
Do you suggest I get a new Skarm?
I forgot to mention the Mence has a 26 [ i think defense IV ]

Eos Aduro January 4th, 2008 12:37 PM

A new Skarm would work, unless you use enough berris on its attack to put more into defense.

Nope. I don't as I can't be bothered to breed a new one.
-----> I'm off to serebii wifi chat. XD.
Now the Pokes I need are BlisSkarm and Garchomp.

But you'll have to switch out.

Yes.

You're covered against Skarm, no need to worry about it, but you still want fire fang for better coverage overall. Not to mention that nailing Skarm with lots of damage before the PHaze is nice.

Ok so Fire Fang is the way to head?
Not SubOutrage?
Could this work set up a sub swords dance ---> outrage = KO ?

Eos Aduro January 4th, 2008 12:56 PM

I;ve faced those, and yes it works, unless you opponent has a strong steel type in waiting, but they still usually have trouble taking you down.

Yeah. Does anyone have one of these they'd trade??
Anyways with my Swampert atm it has Counter-Coat.
Should I make it Physical Pert or leave it?

Chompah :x January 5th, 2008 2:51 PM

I'm kicking Swampert out and replacing him with Weavile..
