Latest Creation...

http://www.pokebeach.com/images/gallery/sugimori/373.png

[email protected] Specs
Modest
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Sp. Def

Hydro Pump
Flamethrower
Dragon Pulse
Draco Meteor

Standard Specs-Mence Lead.

[email protected] Scarf
Lonely
252 Atk, 152 Spd, 104 Sp. Atk,

Thunderbolt
Ice Punch
Cross Chop
Earthquake

I've gone with something different here. After being repeatedly beaten with the lack of speed, and not getting a hit in, I've decided to check out Choice Scarf on this set. 152 Spd EV's = 264 at lv 100 with 31 IV's (Which I have). 264 x 1.5 = 396. Jolly Weavile = 383 Max, Jolly Aerodactyl = 394 Max. The extra is dished into Sp. Atk for a stronger hitting Thunderbolt.

[email protected]
Impish
252 HP, 228 Def, 28 Spd

Power Whip
Sleep Powder
Knock Off
Leech Seed

This thing is a monster. A 350 Atk Gyara with 1 DD doesn't even 3HKO this once Leftovers is factored in. Power Whip will deal around 40%, so long as it isn't intimidated by gyara.

[email protected]
Calm
252 HP, 78 Def, 180 Sp. Def

Rest
Thunder Wave
Ice Beam
Calm Mind

Status user and absorber. Good pokemon to take High Powered Special Hits, and can rest it off along with status. Calm Mind for the obvious advantages on both sides, and Ice Beam for those many dragon's.

====================

[email protected] Band
Adamant
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Sp. Def
Arena Trap

Sucker Punch
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Pursuit

Traps whatever I want on the switch-in, and counters with Sucker Punch when neccessary. A great revenge-killer, as it's all Duggy is really useful for. I have now added Pursuit over Aerial Ace for the likes of Gengar and Azelf, who are able to flee. (I think Azelf has levitate?)

=====================

[email protected]
Bold
188 HP, 70 Sp. Atk, 252 HP

Haze
Substitute
Surf
Baton Pass

I badly need a Hazer, and this can also BP massive subs. Decided against Wish Support for Haze, and this is a better way to safely bring in Electivire, Salamence and Dugtrio. Also provides a Decent walling opportunity agains SD Weavile and Hasty Garchomp, which we established was a problem previously.

Currently Thinking to Switch with Vaporeon:

http://www.pokebeach.com/images/gallery/sugimori/485.png

[email protected] Scarf
Modest
252 Sp. Atk, 16 HP, 242 Spd

Fire Blast
Earthpower
Explosion
HP Ice (70)

What do you all think? Either this, or I can make it a Rest-Talker to become a Status Sponge with a tad more zing....lol

=======================

Currently experimental. I have used this team a few times, with great success, but wondering of its true quality. Need opinions on Togekiss and Dusknoir most, but all advice is welcome. Please no rates unless you know what you're talking about. I have a reasonable understanding, and know when others don't.

Dusknoir need Will "O" Wisp, Pain Split, Shadow Sneak, and one of the punches, I like Fire personally.

Ársa January 7th, 2008 1:45 PM

ok, but how are the EV's?

I have the Rest-Talk set to switch into Status attacks, that's all...

~M51

Shiraishi January 7th, 2008 2:32 PM

Massive Weavile weak :/ Especially the SD one x-x;

Ársa January 7th, 2008 2:39 PM

Tangrowth can hold it...

~M51

Shiraishi January 7th, 2008 2:44 PM

Weavile with a SD under it's belt is gonna do 71.53% - 84.41% on Tangy @[email protected]

However, you have a chance of not getting 2 Hit KO'd by Life orb Weavile:47.28% - 55.69%

Off topic: Is the NWS Manaphy for that Blissey good? o-o

Ársa January 7th, 2008 2:50 PM

Sorry, but I cannot trade it now, my friend has it. (Just realized....o.0;)

EDIT: What would you suggest to replace, and with what pokemon? I'm thinking along the lines of Dusknoir for Scarftran, as it can wall SD Weavile (Without Brick Break), and Tangy can wall Life Orb.

~M51

ABYAY January 7th, 2008 3:43 PM

Hmm... the layout of the team is very good, but yeah, SD Weavile gives you trouble (mine runs SD with Brick Break.) Metagross is a great Weavile counter if Defense EVs are brought into mind with it. I still stride for the day I make an Impish Meta-Wall to deal with just Weavile. Also, Hasty Garchomp could provide an issue if it's running Dragon Claw (Intimidate on Salamence helps it some though), Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Fire Blast.

Those 2 are the biggest denters, but the team itself, really well thought out.

Ársa January 7th, 2008 3:46 PM

Hmmm, thanks, I'll take that into account. :)

What on heatran? Gross you reackon?

~M51

shedinjask January 7th, 2008 5:53 PM

Forretress is the best Weavile counter ever. Seriously.

Also I would say you have a Scarf Roserade weak. Dusknoir is pretty much the only thing that doesn't mind switching into it.

Ársa January 7th, 2008 6:54 PM

Scarf Roserade?

lol, I understand, but:

A. Never seen one in a hundred + battles.
B. It won't take out more than one period.

What does a Scarf Roserade run anyway?

~M51

Shiraishi January 7th, 2008 6:58 PM

Mine runs..

[email protected] Scarf
Modest
Evs:252 Spd/252 SP. atk/4 HP
-Leaf storm
-HP [Fire/Ice/Ground]
-Sleep powder
-Shadow ball

Meh.

Meh.

Choice Scarfed Sleep Powder....hmmm, interesting.

As long as I don't run into a HP Ice, I should do fairly well.

P.S. Heatran owns that set without HP Ground, and Salamence Stalks it without HP Ice, so whichever it runs, I should be able to take it down. Scarfed Heatran btw.

Shiraishi January 7th, 2008 7:20 PM

If your team is for Wi-fi, forget about Roserade >_> HP breeding is a pain in the arse, you won't see em with HP much XD

Ársa January 7th, 2008 10:36 PM

Introducing Vaporeon. Helps to counter SD Weavile and Hasty Garchomp which I had problems with earlier, and is my hazer. BP's 128 HP Subs to any pokemon I wish, giving great help to any of the pokemon.

Except Vaporeon wants Wish.

You also want a special wall or foe Specs Mence say hi, as do foe Heatran.

ABYAY January 9th, 2008 12:54 PM

I think that Toge is acting as a special wall with some physical support too.

Vap gives me trouble sometimes... I'll find a way to cope with it though; stops my DD-Tar from getting off what it needs the most and those big subs + huge tank = wow.

What do you suggest? (I don't wanna have to go blissey unless absolutely neccessary...)

I gives 60% Flinch rate, plus a STAB Air Slash with Metronome. I've had a few changes made, let's see...

~M51

Use Blissey NAOW !!! lol

well theres that or Snorlax

[email protected]
76 HP / 44 ATT / 136 DEF / 252 SP.DEF
Careful nature
Trait : Thick Fat
- Curse
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch / Earthquake / Crunch
- Rest

Curse lax. Still a very nice sp.wall.

Crunch hits ghosts, Fire punch hit Skarm or other steel, Earthquake hits T-Tar, Heatran Metagross etc.

Thick fat help Tangrowth somewhat.

You could always use calm Cresselia

[email protected]
252 HP / 78 DEF / 180 SP.DEF
Calm Nature
- Rest / Moonlight
- Reflect
- Psychic / Charge Beam /Thunderwave
- Ice beam / Charge Beam /Thunderwave

Again a good solid sp.wall/mixed wall.

Its really your choice, but you DO need something that can take Draco Meteors and other ridiculously powerful sp.attacks.

Btw HeatranTangrowth is great due to flash fire abuse.

Ársa January 9th, 2008 2:14 PM

Maybe cress, would give a higher resistence to CB Cross...

I'll spring out my cresselia in PC and see what I have...

Hey! I have that Shiny Cress that I caught, it's calm.

o.0 bad IV's though, maybe not... :P

~M51

ok, so cress over Togekiss?
