Well, I dont really know Empoleon's Speed, so i can only suggest it as a defence with one weakness.
But my fav is Gastrodon - Has nice HP/Defence... but its speed is kinda bad...

Young Stunna' January 7th, 2008 3:40 PM

oh crap i did put this in the wrong section, ouh well i'll go repost it in the right one and maybe a mod will delete this..

Ideas

I find comfort with my Swampert in any catagory, however, Golduck and Seaking have great speed, but you get your wall with good old Gyrados! Me, I'll just stick with Swampert while you run around searching for something to your liking. :t260:

Young Stunna' January 7th, 2008 3:43 PM

thanks, im mainly looking for speed though. so i'll go look at golduck and seaking and swampert.

Kingdra has great resistances (water and fire 1/2, only weak to dragon) and outspeeds everything after it uses rain dance.

Instead of making a new one, I'll move this for you.

Agilipoleon...:)

[email protected] Berry
Timid
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP

Substitute
Agility
Surf
HP Ground / Electric / Grass

Works best with a Sub passed from a Vaporeon, giving a 128 HP Sub. :) Agility on that turn, then continue to use Substitute first with Upped speed until you hit Petaya Range. Torrent will also activate, giving you an almost unstoppable Surf.

The rarely seen DD Feralidatr maybe?
Sorry I dunno its moveset but maybe:

[email protected] salac berry/ life orb
252spd/ 252atk/ 6hp
Adamant/ Jolly
-Waterfall/ Aqua tail
-Dragon Dance
-Crunch
-Ice fang/ Earthquake

Last slot for coverage.

Volkner January 7th, 2008 5:42 PM

I'd personally go for Golduck. His speed his quite high, and his defense isn't as lacking as most other speedy water types, and the secondary characteristics leaves you without many holes in your defense, besides the obvious water-trait problems.

scwizard January 7th, 2008 5:42 PM

Some ranking person on Shoddy said that there were like 3 rarely used pokemon that demoilished his team, and DD Ferg was on of them. It sounds quite good.

WaluigiRedclaw91 January 7th, 2008 8:49 PM

As someone has said Kingdra is ur best bet buddy

Anti January 7th, 2008 9:20 PM

Kingsdra can't really take hits though.

Milotic has pretty good speed and can wall most attacks.

El Gofre January 9th, 2008 12:18 PM

I'd go swift-swim omastar or empoleon with agility.

Great to see the site beck online again :)

Bulky Gyarados

[email protected]
212 HP / 16 ATT /180 DEF / 100 SPEED
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall / Ice Fang
- Stone Edge / Earthquake
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance

Reaches 334 after one Dragon Dance. I dont know how fast you want it to be.

Taunt stops status and phazing.

Ice Fang and Earthquake OR Stone Edge and Waterfall provide superior coverage together.

This is the best switch into Heracross, this side of NidoKing/Queen and Gliscor. Avoid Stone Edge.

Good at putting Garchomp out of service, again avoid Stone Edge.

Volkner January 9th, 2008 4:42 PM

A lot of these replies are helping out tons with the power, but not much with the speed. If you bulk up a Golduck it can stand on it's own against most opponents because of it's relatively flexible defense stat. And it naturally has high special attack, helping to end fights before you can take too much damage, anyway.

probably saying what a lot of other people said, but im' to lazy to read rest, hope this helps.

kind of mathces your description:

Milotic
Gyrados (bulky)
Swampert (maybe a little slower)
Empoleon (make sure it has agility)
Golduck
or
Kingdra.

good luck choosing =]

Ignore all other posts and use this. Feraligator is an option as it has Hydro Pump for Skarm.

sims796 January 9th, 2008 6:17 PM

However!

Gya isn;t really a "wall", just a bulky water. I think Swampert is a wall, but he's too slow for you. So you're kinda arsed out.

Shiraishi January 9th, 2008 6:40 PM

Oh. He asked for a wall O_o There are only 2 walls with decent speed, and none of em are water D; Bah, just use Gyara.

El Gofre January 10th, 2008 9:04 AM

Gyara can in no way wall, yes its a great bulky water but cant act as a fully fledged wall. As Ive said, SwiftSwim omastar is likely to be your best bet
