Nice looking team, on a side not does U-turn keep leech seed in play?

Samson January 9th, 2008 5:25 PM

leech seed remains in play until the opposing pokemon leaves battle.

two CBers sounds risky as hell =/

Why not use Shed Shell if you're worried about Maggy?

Not at all. I've run a team with as much as 4 CBers before so it doesn't bother me.

Because Shed Shell Forrys cannot beat Maggeys, Light Screen Forrys actually do, and it makes LO Electivire Thunderbolt 3HKO, giving me time to counter it, not to mention it supports the team as well. And Forrys always need a form of recovery.

You said yourself, you aren't doing anything to Magnezone once it uses Magnet Rise. You can basically consider Forry a goner, as Light Screen will only last so long, with you being slower. Of course, I run Rest, so my opinons are slightly bias.

Syaoran January 10th, 2008 7:06 AM

Even with Light Screen Forrey can't do anything to Magnezone if it magnet rises. You might be able to put 3 layers of spikes tho. But that won't be too significant, because you don't have a ghost to block their rapid spin. I personally like Forrey with Explosion, so I'd remove Earthquake for it.

As for Heatran, I don't see why you put HP electric.. only useful for Gyarados switch ins. If you mispredict on Gyara coming, it'll force you to switch anyway because he's faster. I like Metal Sound better. Taunt is practically useless on your set.

We can all agree that no form of Forry can stop a Maggy. Only with far too much prediction, and far too much luck. But he's not a Magnezone counter anyway.
