is there any way to duplicate your rare candies?

and if there isnt what other ways are there to "train" my pkmon as fast as possible w/out actually training them

BakingBluePotatoe January 11th, 2008 9:07 PM

[yes im lying]
how do i clone a pkmon? lol

Young Stunna' January 11th, 2008 9:13 PM

yeah dude dont think for a minute your going to win battles using rare candies. you should EV trin for speed and defense.

justiin--lol January 11th, 2008 9:17 PM

sooooory.... goodness lmao.. uhm but how do i clone pkemon.. and what does EV mean?

Young Stunna' January 11th, 2008 9:37 PM

EV stands for Effort Values. Certain pokemon have certain amounts of EV points and 4 EV points for 1 stat raises the stat one point when you gain a level. like if you wanted to increase your Agron's defense stat you would battle lots of geodudes because they have strong EVs in defense. If you wanted to raise its speed you would battle lots of starly's because they have one EV point in speed. get it now? just go out with a level 50 pokemon and battle level 3 starlys until you grow one level and you will see.

oh ic...

and how do i clone pkemon?

Shiny Umbreon January 11th, 2008 9:44 PM

There's a cloning guide in the FAQ, but that'd take time, I guess.

Umm, i cant see how you would ev train every pokemon for speed and defense x.x
most tanks are slow..

and tanks usually are like this:
Physical wall:
Defense/HP
Special wall:
SP. Def/HP
Staller:
(not sure)

and also... some speedy pokemon have really crappy defense and they go out in 2 seconds without even landing a hit... ev training def wont do anything...

and some defensive pokemon have crappy speed...

the only exception where you dont have to worry much (even then you would worry) is when you ev train Arceus x.x

Young Stunna' January 11th, 2008 10:26 PM

yeah but then you get yelled at for using a hack.

p.s. i really like squirtle

Azonic February 2nd, 2008 4:34 PM

Um. Yeah, you find them in the ground across the region x.x

lostprophetsown February 3rd, 2008 1:54 AM

use the GTS cloning sticky above this thread it tells you how to do it if not go onto game FAQ and find one its a really indepth helpful guide helped me clone anyways

Random Guy February 8th, 2008 11:07 PM

You can get Rare Candies at the Battle Tower for 48 BP each. It's a waste of time trying to earn 48 BP just to get that when there are much better things you can save up for. Battling the Elite 4 over and over again is the quickest wat to level up your pokemon.

Skaterzpenguin February 9th, 2008 12:03 AM

Go buy an action replay or gameshark and use the code for rare candies, and there you go.
