6 Marks

Hey you know what I never knew, what are those 6 shape marks (the square, heart, etc.) under the pokemon's level supposed to do? Are they just for show or something?

Percy Thrillington January 12th, 2008 4:27 PM

Just for show, yes, I'm pretty sure.

ClassicRockFan January 12th, 2008 4:27 PM

They are just for show, but they kinda help putting a mark on certian pokemon for different purposes (ex. mark to trade, mark to tell which Togekiss is the contest one that I use)

Justin T January 12th, 2008 4:30 PM

Ok cool. That will be since I'm trying to start breeding.

KNIGHT_OF_ARCEUS January 12th, 2008 5:06 PM

they don't do anything but mark the pokemon, but it is still use to tell pokemon of the same types apart

When I was alot younger, I used the shapes to mark how much I liked a Pokemon. Anyway from 1 shape for a weak Pokemon, to 4 shapes for an awesome Pokemon. Remember, this is when I was alot younger.

I've put alot of the shapes to tell IVs. A star for good IVs in a category good for that pokemon also helped to find the best babies I bred to breed the two best.

I find them really useful. I use them when I'm breeding; I release all the ones with bad IVs but I keep some of them and I mark them all differently and write their IVs into Microsoft Word. That way I can always tell them apart =D
