Quick ways for max happiness?

What are the fastest ways to maximize a pokemon's happiness?

Darkgale January 17th, 2008 3:50 PM

try lots of vitamins (protien, zinc, iron, calcium etc. Not best way if you dont have lots of money), make it hold a soothe bell, catch it in a luxury ball and keep it in your party.

I never want to waste berries or vitamins so I just walk and give them both massages every day. Of course, a quick way would be to walk a lot. Try the cycling road.

Battle a lot with it. A lot. Use a lot of items on it. Never, ever, ever let it faint. Keep it first in your party. Well, I'm not sure where, but there is a person that sees the 1st pokémon in your party's happiness.

It's only when it gains levels does the happiness points increase. So battling with it isn't ideal for people wanting lower levelled evolutions.

The Poketch App number 6 saves the trouble of having to look for that person. It shows happiness in levels depending on how big the hearts are, so I'd suggest using that instead.

Luxury Ball helps. U can use medicienes or Berrys. It's not a big Deal really :(

I made Riolu eat berries, take steroids (protien, HP Up etc.), made it hold Sooth Bell and win all in that time. Took me about 5 minutes until he leveled up.

2 massages a day, soothe bell, a lot of walking and some potions usually does the trick.

Dark "DC" Chaos January 18th, 2008 10:14 PM

When I need to make a pokémon happy, I just follow this simple formula:

1. Go to the Iron Works
2. Find a place where you can keep walking onto an arrowed floor tile.
3. (Optional) Put a Soothe Bell on your pokémon.
4. Plug your DS into its charging cord.
5. Find something to hold down your directional pad. (A piece of tape or something.)
6. Go to bed.
7. Wake up, find happy pokémon.
8. ??????
9. PROFIT!

Simple, free, and it's multitasking!
