Training up your Pokemon!

Where in Diamond or/and Pearl do you train your pokemon?

I train mine north of the battle center, where the 2 cool trainers and the psychic trainer is... VS Seeker :). Or the pokemon leage, either really.

Note: This is for regular training, not EV training.

El Gofre January 18th, 2008 8:19 AM

Is this regular or EV training? For regular its ther E4, EVing i usually chain the pokemon i need the EVs of.

WaluigiRedclaw91 January 18th, 2008 9:04 AM

You stole my spot!

So.. yeah. That's where I train. I can get 2-3 levels there in a couple of minutes work.

YoungAngel January 18th, 2008 9:46 AM

you can train beyond the pokemon league in that little resort area, and in stark mountain...

I agree, I also train most of my Pokemon by constantly battling the Pokemon League, this way you get a nice bit of cash (Which I use alot of, having 999 of every possible item you'l need to heal HP and Status problems is a nice bonus, and those repels)

ktn January 18th, 2008 9:57 AM

i train my pokemon right above the town where the breeding center is

Supreme Dirt January 18th, 2008 1:37 PM

I train my Pokemon on the trainers north of the Fight Area. Those Slowbros give pretty decent XP. Combine it with the EV training items and berries to remove the EVs you don't want, and it is the best training spot in the game.

lostprophetsown January 19th, 2008 7:31 AM

stark mountain and pokemon league are my usual spots the pokemon league for getting cash 2 im on 807k atm

Kirioroshi January 19th, 2008 8:44 AM

That patch to the right of Survival Area. Thats to get my pokemon to lvl25 so i can check their IV's.

Cloud_85 January 19th, 2008 9:30 AM

In ALL pokemon games i train on the pokemon League, I don't know why, it's my Spot XD: You make money and XP together

Drakorn January 19th, 2008 2:45 PM

I train in route 226/7, the reason for that is I caught my first shiny there without a pokeradar and I might have the same chance if I train there. If I want money then I go to route 222 and battle the rich boy who has a level 60 and give my pokemon Amulet coin so I get roughly 19600 off him.

Renten January 19th, 2008 6:13 PM

Well training for me is EV training which I do with just Vs Seeker foes but to gain levels I go with the League

Horizon Knight January 19th, 2008 7:21 PM

I actually train at Turnback Cave; with Level 64 to 65 Pokemon, I can easily get a low-level Pokemon up to battling levels in a matter of hours.

Of course, it doesn't do much for my wallet, so the Pokemon League is my contingency plan...

kahlil January 19th, 2008 7:48 PM

Me too, I trained at turnback cave until I deleted my save game by accident. It was saving and i switch off DS!!!

DouP!!! HATe ME!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! GERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR OH MAN POKEMON CRATER SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vegeta™ January 20th, 2008 12:25 AM

I train my blaziken in turn back cave

[~Charmander~] January 20th, 2008 12:58 AM

Hm Ok ^

I like to train at the league in all games, on "Red" in Gold though.

I dont know if Pearl has good training spots other then league...

Turnback cave after and before I caught Giratina and for no particular reason, in the league. And for a real challenge, the Battle Tower.

The Battle Tower is a challenging way to Lv Up because you don't get experience.

For Me: In the Desert Region above the Resort Area. There is a Trainer there with a Lv60 Chansey that gives 5000-6000exp per kill.

The Elite Four is not a bad place but I like things to be steady and Systematic, so...

EDIT: I am too tired to work it out now, but is anyone able to find out the total Exp Gained from fighting the E4? You just have to use one pokemon and take note of their EXP before and after. Thanks.

Kirioroshi January 20th, 2008 5:07 AM

Oh thanks for reminding me about that blissey..

Btw, what other pokemon does that person with the blissey have?

WaluigiRedclaw91 January 20th, 2008 8:41 PM

Im telling you the best spot is the sandy rout above the resort area and the grass just above

Darkgale January 21st, 2008 5:17 AM

Hmm..i usually train at the poke mansion south of Hearthome, and vs. seeker the rich girl and boy in the courtyard and then the 2 elderly rich guys just outside between them i can make roughly 100k per 10 min. Then for Xp i go to the pokemon league.

msdmario January 21st, 2008 8:09 AM

I either prefer leveling up my Pokemon by fighting that trainer in Route 227 who has an Ambipom, Chansey, and Rapidash or I fight the Elite Four. Either way, I get plenty of money and experience for my Pokemon. It's much better than fighting wild Pokemon as they give less experience than a Pokemon who is owned by a trainer and you don't earn money from wild Pokemon.

is the chansey the lvl 60 one? in the desert route?

MasterRahl January 21st, 2008 9:11 AM

Zubat

I'm still pretty early-on in the game, but trying to be thorough: at what level does Zubat evolve? Or is there some special condition? Really if there is some kind of list of all Pokemon's evolution levels/conditions, that would be awesome... but that could be asking too much...
