Extremely long battles - no moves left?

So, I've started going after the post-National Dex legendaries. I had thought for Giratina, I could throw out a high-level Spiritomb to use its Pressure ability to get rid of the more threatening attacks, then some lower-level pokemon to bring its HP down. My question is, what happens when Giratina runs out of PP? Is the battle over, or does it just sit there while you lob pokeballs at it? Or does the game ignore PP for wild pokemon? I've never actually had a battle that has gone that long, so I don't know what would happen. By my math, after 26 attacks (with Pressure), it should be out of gas.

The wild pokemon will begin to use a move named strugglr that also deals recoil damage. Ive only seen this move twice or thrice

One thing's for certain, It's a kind of Suicide move that would eventually force you to have to restart if you wanted to catch them one of a kind Pokémon (Just be sure to save it before you begin the battle)!
