The heart of the team, destroys MixApe and can support Tangrowth. Win.

[email protected]
Nature:Bold

YOU STOLE MY GENGAR YOU PERSON! Except for that Shadow Ball, could always replace it for a neat HP Ice

[email protected]
Nature: Impish
EVs:252 HP/252 Def/4 Atk
-Power Whip
-Leech seed
-Stun spore = Sleep Powder
-Knock off/Earthquake

Believe me, I've never used the freak of nature before, but Sleep Powder over Stun Spore would always be better

[email protected]
Nature:Bold
EVs:188 HP/70 Sp. atk/252 Def
-Surf
-Ice beam
-Wish
-Protect/Toxic/Substitute

The heart of the team, destroys MixApe and can support Tangrowth. Win.

I would put Substitute just for the Blissey itself

[email protected]
Nature:Bold
EVs:20 HP/134 SP. def/252 Def/104 Sp. atk
-Seismic toss? Thunder Wave
-Ice beam? Thunder Wave
-Aromatherapy
-Softboiled

Standard Blissey is standard.

Oh, and I thought I was going to give you mine

Looks good, but Thunder Wave is better since none of your teammates surpasses 115 Speed. Replace either Ice Beam or Seismic Toss

[email protected] Scarf
Nature: Lonely
EVs:252 Atk/224 Spd/32 Def
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire blast
-Stone Edge

Tell me to use Adamant and I will eat you. It has low Sp. atk IVs.

Looks good

[email protected] belt

-Ice punch
-Cross chop
-Earthquake

Standard Vire is standard.

As you wish

If anyone saw my last thread, I'm just trying to abuse my newly found Blissey. Flame away >_>

The team is a bit Aerodactyl weak. To get rid of this? Make sure Tangrowth is alive at all times if the enemy team has an Aerodactyl =P

Just thought I'd point that out. But you could be ok, with vires t-bolt and vaporeon. If your that worried, Id take off the low accuracy moves and use energy ball and HP ice.

Energy Ball does not go good with Shadow Ball, Shadow Ball is always the best with Focus Blast

Also, experiment with Scarfchomp, its actually pretty useless without any Attack Passes, it won't get to OHKO much if there is a must to send it out early

Anti January 29th, 2008 1:54 PM

Tangrowth beats Aero :(

Actually pretty solid on the defensive side, but oh my do all forms of Infernape hurt :(

Mainly I was referring to Aerodactyl with Taunt, all Tangrowth can do is Power Whip after that why Aerodactyl does whatever he pleases(Keep in mind, people will run Aerodactyl with Reflect/Light Screen)

Anti January 29th, 2008 2:12 PM

Power Whip shuts down a bulky Gyarados, something tells me Aero will fall there too, even if it does have reflect up.

Archer January 29th, 2008 2:18 PM

I have run that SashGar and It works as a nice lead unless your Opponent uses weather. Consider HP Ice somewhere in there. I have run it over Hypnosis in Shoddy, as it can work better with Focus Sash. But if you need the Sleep support....
Definitely put Sleep powder on Tangrowth. I run double powder and I can tell you now, Sleep gets used so much more.
~Vaporeon - fine
~Blissey - fine. And Name, about the Twave thing.... ScarfChomp?
~Chomp - fine
~Vire - fine. Keep Vaporeon alive for Electric bait.

ScarfChomp is for the late-game, and if he is to send it out early, ScarfChomp does horribly

Shiraishi January 29th, 2008 2:45 PM

@Name-Tangy will be alive for quite a while thanks to Vappy @[email protected] I put stun spore because Gengar already has Hypnosis..

@Anti- Vappy kills Ape.

@Archer-This team is for wi-fi >_<

Yeah, my bad. That brings up something else, though. Vire is better for mid/late-game, no? then he only has One early game sweeper. Gengar is quite fragile.

@Shiraishi - Oh, well, go with the set you have, then. Vaporeon has Ice Beam anyway.

Ársa January 29th, 2008 11:39 PM

Vappy doesn't kill Infernape.... O_O

If Grass Knot doesn't kill it first (I'm unsure as to whether it does or not), many Mix-Ape run Focus Sash (Don't ask my why, Life Orb is better, but I suppose people like the thought of a definate Nasty Plot, which is ruined by Sandstream anyway. O_O)

Grass Knot hits Vappy for a base 60 lol

252 SP.ATT Neutral Nature Infernape @Life Orb

Defender HP: 448
Damage: 156 - 183
Damage: 34.82% - 40.85%

With a Nasty Plot-less grass knot.

252 HP /O SP.def neutral nature Vaporeon.

With lefties recovery the most you do here is 34%

Defender HP: 448
Damage: 307 - 361
Damage: 68.53% - 80.58%

Same ape on same vaporeon AFTER a Nasty Plot.

With lefties recovery here, the most you do is 74%

Focus sash is meh on Ape to say the least, it cant even guarantee a ohko bliss WITH a Life Orb Close Combat, A definitive Nasty Plots not gonna help you in that match up. I deliberately leave my blissey in on some people when i see they arnt running a life orb, just to teach them a lesson lol and paralyze it.

Ársa January 30th, 2008 1:06 PM

Well there you go, I didn't know. ;)

Thankyou.

Shiraishi January 30th, 2008 7:07 PM

Well, if ScarfChomp is suckish early game, whats a good Scarfer to replace him with @[email protected] I like my Scarfers to have useful resistances, which Chomp has :/

changes in bold. this team needs a heavy hitter, which you can get if you run specsgar.

You didn't make any changes O_O you didn't even comment O_O

I've come to hate Wide Lens on Gengar, Life Orb is much more useful, especially when this team has wish support to help with the recoil.

I'd honestly just a run a SD chomp. Gengar can take any Close Combat or even megahorn from Heracross anyways.

Vire is pretty meh in all honesty. I don't really get the point of having two pokemon that can beat Skarmbliss. One is enough.

Shiraishi January 31st, 2008 12:48 PM

If I un SD-Chomp I'd have to put T-wave on Blissey. =O Baton pass on Vaporeon is useless because all I'm passing is Wish .__________. Life orb it is. I'm using Electivire because I wanted someone who can murder bulky waters :/

Anti January 31st, 2008 12:51 PM

Baton Pass allows Vappy to take the hit and allow the recipient of wish to take nothing...it's kind of meh IMO anyways.

SDchomp runs fine without thunder wave really.

Shiraishi January 31st, 2008 12:55 PM

Well, I have both in my box so I can try both Chomps. o-o
