A few questions

1.Can a shiny Pokemon breed another shiny
2.You know how you get stat points when you beat a pokemon, does that mean if you battle like a ratata, an eevee, and a luxray you get the effort points or whatever from each one????
3.Does the higher the level the two pokemon that breed make the iv's of the hatched pokemon higher?
4.How do you know if your egg has Pokerus??
5.Would anyone actually use schuckle as there wall his highest def. is like 416?

Thankyou

No, the odds are reset

Yes, they are called EVs.
3.Does the higher the level the two pokemon that breed make the iv's of the hatched pokemon higher?
No, i think theres a chance of 3 of the mother's IVs being carried over
4.How do you know if your egg has Pokerus??
It says pokerus when it hatches. I thing there is a glitch to do with eggs but im not sure what you can find out.
5.Would anyone actually use schuckle as there wall his highest def. is like 416?
No. its HP is 20, making its lovely defences redundant
Thankyou

All nicely answered. Im not too sure with eggs and breeding though so dont hold me to it.

Technically, yes. But it's got the same chance as a normal Pokemon for the baby to be shiny, so it doesn't affect anything.

Uh, yeah.

I'm not an IV-master or anything, but level usually has nothing to do with breeding. Just stats.

You don't until it hatches I'd think. Whether or not a Pokemon has PokeRus is shown by the Pokemon's name on the stat page in a purple box. You should see it right when you open its stats.

I would. :D Don't know about anyone else.

Thanks guys, i wonder why they would give shuckle such high defense and low hp?

El Gofre January 31st, 2008 2:58 PM

Its to balance him out. With 230 in each defense it is imensely tough, higher than every other poke. However, if they gave him just base 50HP, it would make him the most frustratingly impossible pokemon ever. Its like blissey, all that HP and SpDef and base 10 def. What makes blissey good is its HP substitutes for its defense, making it arguably the best special wall in the game.

If you want a biological reason, under shuck'es shell its a mushy lump that you could squish with your finger :)
