Please rate my half ubar team!
Just please rate this team so I can win more battles:)
1.Skarmory: Keen Eye, Apicot Berry Moves: Toxic Roar Spikes Steel Wing 2.Blissey: Serene Grace, Leftovers Moves: Thunderbolt Icebeam Softboiled Toxic 3.Rayquaza: Air Lock, Scope Lens Dragon Dance Extremespeed EQ Dragon Claw 4.Tyranitar: Sandstream, Leftovers Icebeam Rock Slide EQ Crunch 5.Deoxys: Pressure, Lansat Berry Shadow Ball Recover Brick Break Psycho Boost 6.Groudon: Drought, Scope Lens Rest Slash EQ Eruption |
Give groudon flamethrower or fire blast (probably flamethrower because it is more accurate) instead of eruption because it will be a bad first attack and he will probably be at full health until an ice beamer comes out like a water type that knows ice beam. Then he will get either OHKOed or even if his hp was low, fire is not effective. Go with Psychic on deoxys instead of psycho boost. Is it a fire red, leaf green, or ruby/sapphire deoxys? Why does tyranitar have icebeam? Replace it with brick break or something, maybe toxic. Personally I always liked ancientpower in place of rock slide, rock slide has horrible accuracy and ancientpower has a great effect, but only do this if you have the PP ups/max. (too bad it is a 10% effect) Give skarmory a drill peck instead of steel wing. :)

Skarmory- [sp.atk + / def -] @ apicot berry
EV: Sp.atk, atk -peck -sand attack -fly -agility Blissey- [atk + / sp.def -] @ lucky egg EV: atk, speed -pound -double edge -double slap -defense curl Rayquaza- [atk, sp.atk or speed + / not used atk -]/[average] @ lum berry EV: anything... -dragon dance -extremespeed -aerial ace -thunderbolt Thunderbolt is the preferred choice so that you can hit the evil flying devil. Aerial ace instead because you should have 2 or 3 ground attack users on this team already... Tyranitar- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers EV: anything -dragon dance -rock slide/earthquake -fire blast/physical move -earthquake/rock slide/brick break/HP Ghost If you're that desperate for a T-tar with special moves... I guess... still preferably all physical, or get fire blast just to kill the flying devil Deoxys- (assuming FR)- [atk or sp.atk + / sp.def -] @ white herb EV: Atk, sp.atk, speed on 395 or 396 -psychoboost/superpower -shadowball/thunderbolt -brick break/ice beam -HP Physical/pursuit or HP Special either take all the moves on left, or all the moves on the right, or add in thunderbolt from right to take out a move on the left just to kill the flying devil (the right side set got superpower to kill the pink devil) Groudon- [speed + / atk or sp.atk -] @ leftovers EV: anything, max speed -fire blast/flamethrower/overheat -solarbeam -earthquake -HP ??? You're lucky that I even rated half of this team... |
Thanks for the help guys I will try to fix everything. Oh by the way whats the evil flying devil and whats up with your rating of blissey and skarmory???
Oh and why a Solarbeaming Groudon? P.S. Deoxys is R/S EDIT:How do you get dragon dance on T-tar? |
I don't think you can until LG/FR come out because you have to breed charizard with salamence/kingdra/altaria (or something in the dragon group that knows dragon dance)and then breed charizard with tyranitar. (Or evolutions sets of pokemon listed above)
Frostweaver hates ubars and won't rate them, correctly at least. :P |
I see...But, whats the pink and flying devil? Is it a pokemon I dont know of or something?
|
Pink Devil: Blissey
Evil Flying Devil: Skarmory Frosty hates those two, along with Weezing... |
Pink = Blissey, a heavy OU Pokemon for it's high Sp Defence, healing and high HP.
Flying Devil = Skarmory, another heavily OU pokemon for its high defence and resistances (only Fire and Electric are SE, and resists everything else except Water, Fighting and Ice). |
Thats why he rated my "pink devil" and "evil flying devil" so badly
|
why the **** would you hate Weezing though? And the flying devil should be Aerodactyl, man with Jolly and Choice band, that thing can own a lot of things
|
Quote:
Weezing... it's just a less extreme version of Skarm without spike/pseudohaze, but willowisp/haze instead >>; |
So if a magikarp can use all the moves Skarm can, you'd hate it too? Just because a pokemon is now usable doesn't make it hatable. As well, yes, Aero can only physical attack, but its physical attack is high, and it's the second fastest mon in the game excluding ubers.
And btw, just because a Blastoise can own a dugtrio doesn't make dugtrio a stupid useless pokemon. |
Well anyone have a moveset for my blissey or skarm?
|
Quote:
The electrode example was merely a way of supporting the above statement, how Aero/Cro cannot make that much Pokemon useless, unlike Skarmbliss who screws up even some of the OU metagame Pokemon, and completely destroys anything UU unless you got Focus Punch. |
1.Skarmory: Keen Eye, Chesto Berry
Moves: Toxic Roar Spikes Rest I dunno for blissey, toxic and softboiled are good, maybe rest instead... |

As well, words like Mixed sweeper come to mind when dealing with Skarmbliss. Defense EVs in Bliss is prolly as pointless as SpD evs in Skarm, and if you have a mixed sweeper, you've covered pretty much both weaknesses of Skarm and Bliss at the same time. Blaziken comes to mind, I'm looking at Quagsire, which can put up a decent fight, etc. Although, when you say Blissey has counter and stuff, then it gets a bit different, but when Aerodactyl can 2-3HKO a Skarm... I mean, come on, you can't say Aerodactyl isn't THE Flying devil, remember that pokemon episode with it early in Kanto with Togepi? I mean, Skarm doesn't even look like a devil, and Aero has the attack to be called a Devil. Skarm is just the annoying bird that can't be killed. |

Unless it's focus punch, Blissey will survive it darn well with max defense and hp ev (darn often). And counter > whoever you got unless it's STAB fighting. For anything else it'll survive (exception is when you danced up of course). I tried Salamence before with brick break and fire blast, and of course gets owned even though it mix sweeps with brick break and fire blast. Ice beam from blissey or even drill peck will kill you pretty badly. I used quagsire before as well, but then when I have quagsire on my team I didn't see any Skarmbliss but all of them are placed by Ludicolo and Sceptile... darn all those players on NB who are picking on me, and are now massing water types like Starmie, Suicune and big blubber Snorlax just to spite my Clefable who no longer has thunderbolt... How does Aero 3HKO Skarm O.o? When did that happen...? or more like change the 3 or 5/6... Why refer to the anime where a Pikachu can beat up Marowak with thunderbolt in an arguement for the gameboy... >>; |
I rephrase. Second fastest sweeper style poke. Ninjask is usually a baton passer who only sweeps if it has no better choice to do.
As well, my blissey maxes out in SpD :) Next, Swords dance > Counter. Screech > Counter. No one said Salamence was any good. I've never gotten in trubble against it yet. (Hint: Aerodactyl OHKOs :-*) Well if Ludicolo > Quagsire doesn't make Quagsire < Blisskarm, no? Also, depend on how Skarm's EVs are set up, I believe you can catch luck against someone who prefers to max out Skarm's SpD instead of D and Choice band + rock slide it off? And the anime because the flying devil just doesn't cut it as a nickname for Skarm. Devil is powerful, not stalling and annoying. Aerodactyl looks more like a devil than a piece of Aluminum foil, and has greater attacking potential, and that is why, conclusively, Skarm does not deserve the name the flying devil, and that Aero does. Might I suggest the flying annoyance as the name given to Skarm. |
Before I make any suggestions, I have a few questions.
1. How did you get blissey on Ruby/sapphire? and 2. How did you get Deoxys on Ruby/Sapphire? |
Why everybody is saying Skarmory is a very annoying flying devil pokemon, if I find it very easy to beat one.....
|
Regarding the questions, NB has all Pokemon available

Skarm in the anime just has a screechy terrible voice... it sounds so much like Scyther. The battle against Cyndaquil proves that it's just as much as a devil as Aerodactyl is... and something that can pretty much reduce you team to dust by keep whirlwinding your butt off to do a constant 25% damage without dying is quite terrifying in terms of offense (well Skarm's useless offensively when the opponent is down to last Pokemon, but so what because you still got the entire team left for you) Salamence...? Quite scary enough for me... what else can survive 3 ice beam even though you got x4 ice weakness? >>; Or maybe it's not Salamence that has problems but me... Same goes for anything along that category with that same amount of stats. |
Salamence can't survive 3 Ice beams, even dragonite falls to 1 or 2, and Dragonite has better spD than Salamence ._.
As well, whirlwind is not an offensive move. Whirlwind only does 25% when you can actually spike up 3 times before dying. In your other thread, you mentioned Magneton, I'll also quote some of my friends who do NBing on a consistant basis: Have a rapid spinner on any team you make, or else have your team largely immune to ground. If your team have either of those qualities, skarm can't really do jack to you anymore. As well, Aerodactyl has the speed and the attack power to be called a devil, Skarm's just the flying annoyance. btw, just to respond to my previous 3HKO comment: My maxed out defense Skarm gets flinched on a regular basis by dugtrio and Aero, my last battle was 5 flinches in 7 rock slides (I pulled off 2 rests, one being chesto rest tho) from Aero, and the one before that I was flinched 4 of 5 tries by Dugtrio (again, rest saved me) ._. Did the flinch rate change that much? Because it seems like I'm gonna get 3HKO'd because I can't even pull off an attack before dying. |
Quote:
"only" 25%? isn't that enough to call it pain already? >>: not to mention you get another 25% when you switch something in too. Such terror of spike... But I guess I can use a rapid spinner on any future team I make... but that means someone has to go out for rapid spin... >>; And listening to you seems to curse me or something. I took off thunderbotl for thunderwave on Clefable, and immediately my luck changes on me so that my clefable can pull off 6 CM every time, yet is against something resistance to ice but weak to tbolt every time XD Electrode needs 2 HP Ice for both dragons, but Clefable will need 3 against Salamence and dragonite and Rayquaza (probably my Clefable's fault)... plus there's always that one oddball Salamence who survived my old ugly OU team Vappy's ice beam with red hp... >>: *eyes are tired becuase his lamp died...* |

Whirlwind does 25%. Think about what's 25% of Blissey/Snorlax/Milktank's HP. Maybe 200 HP for Blissey?
Mana Lugia is right on one point. Skarmory is screwed when you have a Rapid Spinner or Flying/Levitate Pokemon. Plus Thunderbolt/Flamethrower kills it fast. Aerodactyl is way more dangerous IMO. Rock Slide/Earthquake/Aerial Ace/Double Edge with Choice Band and Ninjask's Baton Pass... |
