2nd Hand Team.

Yeah I play this team second hand until I run the actual party itself.

Ninjask @ lefties
Hasty
31 iv's spd. 255 spd
Protect
Substitute
Swords Dance
Baton Pass

Usuall passer, and I dont want X-scissor in here lol. I like passing midd game too.

Slaking @ Expert Belt
Adamant
31 iv's HP/ATK/DEF
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Atk
Hammer Arm
Giga Impact
Aerial Ace
Earthquake

yeah i know wierd arrangment of ev's, yet it works really well and my Slaking ends up taking good hits before going down.

Dragonite @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
31 iv's spd/atk
Outrage
Aqua Tail
Earthquake
Fire Punch and/or Fire Blast

Fire Blast for skarmory, fortress, bronzong and metagross. they run alot these days.

Yanmega @ Focus Sash
Timid
31 iv's sp.atk/spd
Protect
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hypnosis

Perfect sweeper really, with luck could sweep whole teams.

Weavile @ Focus Sash
Jolly
31 iv;s atk/spd
Fake out/Brick Break
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Sowrds Dance

I love the Weavile sashing, no matter what people say about it and how much OU it is. it's still a sashing Weavile.

Alakazam @ Focus Sash
This one has full iv's
252 spd/ 252 sp.atk/6 HP
Calm Mind
Grass Knot
Psychic
Focus Blast

Does well as a last resort or even mid game.

Needs more info as far as EVs go.

Slaking @ Choice Band
Adamant
31 iv's HP/ATK/DEF
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Focus Punch
Return / Double-Edge
Shadow Claw
Earthquake

yeah i know wierd arrangment of ev's, yet it works really well and my Slaking ends up taking good hits before going down.

Giga Impact is asking the likes of SD Garchomp or Nasty Plot Azelf to come in, set up, and destroy you. Aerial Ace is totally pointless. Also, terrible EVs >.>

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Adamant
31 iv's spd/atk
Outrage
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Fire Punch

Fire Blast for skarmory, fortress, bronzong and metagross. they run alot these days.

I doubt Fire Blast from Adamant Dragonite is really going to hurt Bronzong very much. Honestly it's a mess of a set that Garchomp runs way better. Aqua Tail is just asking for you to have miss.

Yanmega @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Timid
31 iv's sp.atk/spd
Hidden Power [Ground / Ice]
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hypnosis

Perfect sweeper really, with luck could sweep whole teams.

Focus Sash on a pokemon that takes 50% from SR and is weak to Sandstorm and hail? you don't even have a Rapid Spinner >.>

Weavile @ Choice Band
Jolly
31 iv;s atk/spd
Brick Break
Ice Punch / Pursuit
Night Slash / Pursuit
Ice Shard

I love the Weavile sashing, no matter what people say about it and how much OU it is. it's still a sashing Weavile.

Another "why is focus sash on this?" pokemon.

Alakazam @ Leftovers
This one has full iv's <<<That's really unlikely :0
252 spd/ 252 sp.atk/6 HP
Calm Mind
Grass Knot
Psychic
Focus Blast

Does well as a last resort or even mid game.

CM Zam is good...but not with Focus Sash.

Honestly a messy team. Your team gets splattered by Spikes and SR and you have no rapid spinner.

No walls also makes this team pretty lol in all honesty. also, Ninjask is totally stupid on a team full of super-speedy pokemon to begin with. SD and Speed Boost Yanmega is just Redundant.

Also, work on those EV spreads.

Azonic February 11th, 2008 2:58 PM

This team is far too sweeper oriented. You need walls to block potential sweeping threats.

Outlawed February 11th, 2008 9:35 PM

I dont need walls here. As you see, this team makes quick work of a slow strategy based team such as a Destiny Bonding team. Spikes doesn't really bother me, at all actually. i can switch for a flying type and live through that, and rapid spinners. I dont really need such pokes in this team, as you said, some are fast. Dragonite and Slaking are there and ninjask boosts them to the limit. Think about it this way, If i can kill the skarm before it even does anything, why do I need a spinner.
Also Slaking, as I said it seems a wierd ev spread but it works. He lives longer, Giga Impact doesnt need a charge up he loafs anyway so it doesnt matter.
Also SR and Spikes, I know they have become much over used atm, but still I can sweep easily if I get that speed factor.

luke February 11th, 2008 10:15 PM

You do realize if it gets a layer of Stealth Rock down, both Ninjask and Yanmega are down to 50% right away without a spinner?

Protect
Substitute
X-Scissor
Baton Pass

Usuall passer, and I dont want X-scissor in here lol. I like passing midd game too.

lol, anything with Taunt lols at this, and any scarf users lol at you before a speed boost. X-Scissor, so you can hit things once you get the speed boost. Considering your n00bness, you may want Silver Wind, so you can stat up all your stats then pass them! >_> Give the EV's please.

Slaking @ Expert Belt
Adamant
31 iv's HP/ATK/DEF
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Atk
Hammer Arm
Giga Impact
Aerial Ace
Earthquake

Anything with Protect lols at Slaking, hence many people dismiss it entirely...

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Adamant
31 iv's spd/atk
Dragon Claw/Rush
Dragon Dance

Earthquake
Fire Punch

Life Orb DD please. Pick your poison with either Dragon Claw or Dragon Rush. the rest is fine, but please give us the EV's...

Yanmega @ Focus Sash
Timid
31 iv's sp.atk/spd
Protect
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hypnosis/Hidden Power [ICE]

Don't think so, it's not sweeping whole teams. Any decent special Wall takes it easily. Running this is fine, but don't expect it to do what you say it will...

Weavile @ Choice Band
Jolly
31 iv;s atk/spd
Brick Break
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Ice Shard

You need more Strength, so run Choice Band. Ice Shard allows you to outrun and Kill Scarfchomp who rampages through your team otherwise.

Alakazam @ Focus Sash/Choice Specs
This one has full iv's
252 spd/ 252 sp.atk/6 HP

Hidden Power [FIRE/ICE]
Grass Knot
Psychic
Focus Blast

Fine I suppose, but no Calm Mind please. Alakazam is too fragile for it, and even with Focus Sash you're hopeless against a faster opponent, and any residual damage kills your whole strategy. HP Fire for Metagross, Skarm and Forry, among others, while HP Ice for Dragons.

Comments in bold, and next time, learn basic competitive battling before you comment on things you don't understand.

Wow. It really shows how kind you are to others lawl.
I like everyone's advice cause it seems logical, but please refrain from using n00b.. it's kinda mean

Anti February 12th, 2008 1:54 PM

T_S, why would you send Slaking in on something that knows protect? Zam is in no way too fragile to Calm Mind either. DDnite without Outrage is a joke, and you'd be stupid to try to contend with taunt users with Ninjask.

^Next time you tell people they need to learn basic competitive skills make sure your rate is actually decent as well. Because honestly there were a ton or errors. lol focus Sash Yanmega without a spinner.

But really Outlawed, this team IS NO GOOD. Dimissing Stealth Rock made me lol in all honesty. Let's see what will happen to your team with SR and spikes on the field:

Ninjask: 50%
Yanmenga: 50%
Alakazam: 37.5%
Slaking: 37.5%
Dragonite: 25%
Weavile: 50%

Tell me you don't need a rapid spinner again and I will officially give up hope for this team and probably you as well.

You can't kill Skarm before it does anything to you like you claim. Slaking can hit it, it will roost off the damage while you recharge...yeah :/ Ninjask gets PHazed or takes Brave Bird and your special sweepers don't even have the moves to take out skarmory...that's sad :/

In the meantime Skarm will lay Spikes and start randomly roaring your team to hell. With SR you'll be screwed.

This team can't outsweep anything either. Just look at what Aerodactyl does to your team :/

Outlawed February 12th, 2008 5:38 PM

Well Anti, show me then. Tell me how you can get a decent team and how you can "balance" stuff more.

What trhe hell is a "Destiny Bond" team?

Like it or not, you NEED walls. Your opponent are not idiots, and won't sit back while you implement your "strategy". Ninjask boost them to the limit? Your opponent won't sit by & let Ninjask get away with enough boost. Steath Rock RUINS Focus Sash THE MOMENT YOU SWITCH, and Yanmega & Ninjask loses 50% health EVERY SWITCH-IN.

Everything that must be said about your team, has been said already. Especially by Anti-Pop. He jsut about covered everything. The problem is, you are just plain not listening. You solutions to the issues he bought up are absolute rubbish. Rather than feebily arguing back, try to understand what he is saying.

Also, Giga Impact is awful on Slaking, since you cannot switch.
