Silly Question

I know somebody's probably already asked this, but what is the Score thing on the back of your trainer card? I don't get how it works.

(Lock this thread when answered please. =})

airconditioning February 14th, 2008 2:16 PM

I don't think anyone knows. I sure don't, anyway.

Thunder Beam February 14th, 2008 4:16 PM

I think is means how many battles you when against (and how well you do in the battles) or how many pokemons you encounter. That what I already assume it was.

airconditioning February 14th, 2008 5:33 PM

No, it's more complicated than that. You get points for just about everything, I think.

Maybe the Score means nothing.

Thunder Beam February 14th, 2008 7:31 PM

I Know what it now, if you go to the underground using the Explorer kit and once you down there, then hit x button on your gameboy DS stroll down to your name hit it and then look for something that say score, Write it down your score, now leave the underground and goes back up to the town you was in and now hit x button on your gameboy DS stroll down to your name hit it now look at your trainer card look at the score, it the same as it was down in underground.

Obviously. Both of them tell you your SCORE. It's supposed to be the same number. What score did you think the Underground was talking about?

Al Sadiyat February 14th, 2008 9:34 PM

You already have a score before you do any wireless battles, maybe Nintendo will explain it someday

Yoshiko75 February 15th, 2008 6:15 AM

I just sent an e-mail to Pokémon.com's mailbag asking what the score means. If we're lucky, it might be answered on the site.

LOL! XD Yeah, I wonder what it means too! Maybe they will do a raffle one day and see who has the highest score and they will give ya something!!
But yeah hopefully they answer.
Has anybody ever notice their score go up??

In the Game as far i know probably Online too, because My DS doesn't want to work with my Wireless internet, so I can't battle anyone online :'(.

Myoko-chan February 17th, 2008 4:40 PM

Score doesn't really do anything...for now. You can get more by your activities on the game, like battles, underground, catching pokemon...

Darkgale February 18th, 2008 10:37 AM

Oo....A discovery: You get 2 points for every pokemon that you battle in the wild and 1 point for every pokemon you battle in a pokemon battle.

Eisaku February 20th, 2008 8:12 PM

Oooo, cool!! =^^=
I hope something will come out of it. Has Yoshiko gotten an answer yet? I wanna know!!!

PeeKaChu February 20th, 2008 8:25 PM

lol @ gameboy DS

its odd that nintendo doesn't have any info on it :(

Al Sadiyat February 21st, 2008 3:54 AM

From Game Freak:
The first to reach 1 million points will be assassinated for being too L33T

That's why I stopped playing when I had 999,998 :(

Myzou February 21st, 2008 4:47 AM

I got points for digging in the underground o.O;

Think it's a complex enough system? XD

The Pokémon site still has not updated their mailbag. Hopefully they will do it soon, so we can see if our question is answered. They take forever to update somtimes, though.

LOL! I only have 18394, so I'm glad! =^^=
Wow, I guess that means I don't really battle or do the underground a lot! Well, in a way I kinda rushed through it! XD
