Who do you think is the worst character added? (or kept in)

I think the worst character added is R.O.B. Not that he's a really bad character, but they could have added Ridley or something instead (yes, I know he's a boss but I much rather play as him). The worst character kept in is Mr. Game and Watch. I never really understood his purpose.

Wow, a lot of new members. OK I'll add you on the list

I'd like to fix this. There is no "wasted character space". By that I mean there is no "why did he add him? He could have put this guy in"! I don't see how Ridley would be playable. Then again, there are very little playable Metroid Characters. He fits in a a boss better.

Buuuuuuut.....

To play along, I wish they did something worthwhile with Toon Link. A giant tornado, something. And what the hell is with those stupid landmasters? Game & Watch is an original icon, so I could see him.

In all, I'm not dissapointed by the final roster, but not too impressed. I'd rather see characters I never heard of, like in Melee.

Gummy February 24th, 2008 1:34 PM

sims796, how do you fix someone's opinion? Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion.

Yeah...funny thing.

I was typing two different things at once. Just mixed them up.

But, now that I think of it, I wasn't speaking of your opinion, rather, the common misconception that if this charactr it in, there is no room for others. If Ridley was to be playable, having R.O.B. won't make him unplayable. they could both be in.

Now, IMO, ROB & G&W don't need to be in together, they are both relics of the past!

For the topic I would say Jigglypuff. Now come all of Jigglypuff's moves suck.

Well there is one move that's pretty good, on Super Smash Bros. Melee when an opponent is approaching you and as soon as they are on you press down B and it puts Jigglypuff asleep but some how it sends the opponent sailing...It's weird..

That was there since the first game. It's been downgraded a tad bit. It was WAAAAY too easy to get an easy KO with that move. Now, it seens you far, though not quite as far, and plants a flower on the opponent's head.

jigglypuff kicks arse.

Buizel February 24th, 2008 9:29 PM

Jigglypuffs rest is difficult to land. You have to touch the opponent for it to work, and if you miss, you're completely vulnerable. Also it's sing move does put opponents to sleep, but they wake up before the move ends.

Well...

The higher damage you have, the longer you are sleep. Rest takes skill to pull off. it's not too difficult with practice, but it is still hard.

Rollout is my favorite move. In a 4 man match, just throw one out of nowhere...almost as good as using Falcon...PAAAWWWWNNNCCH!

New Topic: Are you happy with the stages that were kept from Melee?

My answer: I definetly am, they saved the best stages :)
Even Hyrule Castle is back (I always loved that stage)

sims796 February 25th, 2008 1:06 PM

Yes, more or less. Hyrule Temple is in, so that means more Sudden Death mode under the cliff :)

The only stages I really played on was the Castle and the Pokemon Stadium, so yeah, I guess I'm happy.

Buizel February 26th, 2008 12:17 PM

Sure. I'm glad they brought back the temple.

sims796 February 26th, 2008 12:18 PM

I wish they bought in a little more, though.

Not just Sears. A Gamestop in Brooklyn is shelfing it at March 4. I was annoyed.
