Specs-Z 3HKO's Blissey, so if it crits, then it's gg.

Not really, normal resist can come in and mop up Porygon-Z.

Ninetales (M) @ Wide Lens
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Hypnosis
- Energy Ball
- Fire Blast

I've suddenly started liking Ninetales. It works like a charm.

Sure.

Infernape (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Thunderpunch

Yeah Infernape and Ninetales on the same team = no. you're aksing bulky Waters to smoke the crap out of you and you can't even switch in your sweepers since their defensive typing is so terrible.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/212 Def/58 SAtk
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

MixPert. Kills Physical 'Nape.

Sure.

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 246 HP/28 Def/236 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Body Slam

Great Poke, but kinda meh since it dies to Aura Sphere/Focus Blast.

Well if you use Snorlax you need a ghost or sturdy Psychic to support Snorlax which you don't have :(

Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Slack Off
- Ice Fang

My favorite Physical Wall of all time.

Sure. Kind of does the same thing as Swampert. Honestly swampert PHazes better so I'd switch SR and Roar.

Rate away!

I love how you brag about killing other teams with Porygon-Z when your team is VERY Porygon-Z weak. Well I don't love it per se, I just find it ironic lol

Seriously though, Snorlax needs something to absorb fighting attacks. you'll also want a normal resist which you lack, and that's going to bite at you.

Also Swampert plays a lot of games with this team. You have a really tough time switching into Swampert.

The walls don't really mesh which is a problem. Mixed Vire is a lot of trouble.

Well, I've decided to use a Special Wall that doesn't need much extra support: The infamous Bliss (which happens to rhyme, lol). Just to make it so that it could actually survive, I'm thinking of this spread:
Calm; 252 DEF/212 SDEF/46 HP.

What would be a good sweeper to replace 'Nape? I'm lookin for one that is fast and can 2HKO Skarm. Really, I'm thinking Staraptor. It can't 2HKO Skarm, but it has a chance of 2HKOing Forry.

OK, SR and Roar shall be switcheroo'd.

Are these changes enough?

Porygonz @ Choice Specs

- Ice Beam

Specs-Z 3HKO's Blissey, so if it crits, then it's gg.

Not really the best lead of all time, normal resists will kill you... will get killed by most of the leads that are faster (most of them are)

Ninetales (M) @ Wide Lens
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Hypnosis
- Energy Ball
- Fire Blast

I've suddenly started liking Ninetales. It works like a charm.

Good

Infernape (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Thunderpunch

Uh.....Physical 'Nape!

Bulky waters will sponge your attacks Infernape + Ninetails shouldn't be on the same team

---

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/212 Def/58 SAtk
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

MixPert. Kills Physical 'Nape.

Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Body Slam

Great Poke, but kinda meh since it dies to Aura Sphere/Focus Blast.

Actually it dies to any physical move

---

Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Slack Off
- Ice Fang

My favorite Physical Wall of all time.

My favorite wall too but kinda plays the same roll as swampart

You might want to take off ninetails and swampert for a tank (maybe bronzong or metagrosss) and another wall or a special sweeper that's more reliable than porygon

If you really hate Skarmory there's this Magnet Pokemon...

Also if you lead with Porygon-Z, people will expect a Scarf version and will probably switch their sweepers out.

What? Sorry, I didn't understand the first part of your post.

You wanted a sweeper that can beat skarmory and what better than Magnezone? Or go for cool points and use Magneton.

Magneton = 5 cool points
Electabuzz = 100 cool points

Anyways, my special sweepers are set, I'm keeping those. I want a Physical Sweeper that can beat Skarm. I'm was tempted to use CB Entei (I've tried it, it works great), but I realized that Entei and Ninetales don't work together.

Anti February 22nd, 2008 3:17 PM

Chocie Band Electrivire is god, it's a shame nobody uses it because it's way better than other Vire sets.

Arcknight316 February 22nd, 2008 3:23 PM

Updates!

I was actually thinking CBVire, but then I realized that it only 2HKO'd Skarm because of its super-effectiveness.
