What are the differences between Diamond and Pearl?
Hey there,
I'm a total newbie and only own the Ruby version. I want to buy a DS along with a new pokemon game. What are ALL the differences between the new Pearl and Diamond versions? Also, what is the difference between the new games and the old Pokemon Ruby? I apologize if this is already posted somewhere else. If that's the case, please just respond with a link. thanks! |
There is different pokemon.
Some pokemon can only be caught on diamond, Some only can be caught on pearl. Thats the only real difference. |
Yeah, I just read this long article on wikipedia about both games. I feel stupid now.

Differences between 3rd Gen
- 107 new Pokemon (493 total) - Sinnoh Region instead of Hoenn - There is a 3D look to the game. (Not like Colosseum or XD, but still 3D) - New Items/Attacks - WIFI Differences between Diamond and Pearl: - Exclusive Pokemon, go here for a list. - Somewhat different scenario (You get Dialga in Diamond, Palkia in Pearl, and some other minor differences.) - Different statue in Eterna City. So it really just depends on which version you think has better Pokemon, and that is all a matter of opinion. I got Diamond, btw. |
He never asked for the difference between the 3rd gen and the others.
He asked for the difference between diamond and pearl. |
