My Team

Specs-chan @ Focus Sash
252 atk / 252 spd / 4 hp
Adamant

- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Nickname really owns things. A lot of my opponents switch to a Specs-Mence counter like Blissey and Empoleon, and I DD on the switch. If it isn't a switch, Focus Sash is there to help me. After a DD, Mence hits 607 atk and 448 speed. A threat force.

Noisymet @ Leftovers
252 hp / 100 atk / 152 def / 4 spd
Impish

- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind

Standard physical wall. With 180 base power Brave Bird, it can hurt a lot of things with that extra 25 points in Attack. Spikes - Whirlwind combo really screws up a lot of things. Roost to recover all the damage received and to remove Electric weakness. Makes a good Vire counter.

French Nurse @ Leftovers
120 hp / 252 def / 130 sp.atk / 4 sp.def
Bold

- Aromatherapy
- Softboiled
- Seismic Toss
- Ice Beam

I'm really thinking of taking out Softboiled for Wish. My calm-minder really needs the support. Aromathreapy support is always nice to have. Ev-spread OHKO's Chainchomp and nearly OHKO's normal Chomp with Ice Beam.

Raider @ Leftovers
252 spd / 96 sp.atk / 96 sp.def / 64 hp
Timid

- Substitute
- HP Grass
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind

This actually sweeps a game. Sub and then Calm Mind. Proceed to sweep your opponent with your special attacking moves. Really destroying.

Creepy @ Wide Lens
252 spd / 252 sp.atk / 4 hp
Timid

- Hypnosis
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

Really nice to have a sweeper like this. Give an instant nap to your opponent and sweep. ShadowFocus combination hits everything neutral, and Thunderbolt is there to score super-effective hits against Flyers and Waters.

UrSweeped! @ Life Orb
252 atk / 252 spd / 4 hp
Jolly

- Swords Dance
- Fire Fang
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw

My late-game sweeper. Really a force. After a SD and 3 layers of spikes, almost all the already-damaged (70% life) late-game resistants will be OHKO'd by this shark threat. Swords on the switch or in the non-attacking move, and sweep. Earthquake and Dragon Claw hit almost everything neutral except Bronzong and Skarmory, which are handled by Fire Fang.

LOL, Electivire normally run Thunderbolt for Skarmory you realise, and even then Mixvire will still laugh at you with a Flamethrower in your face. Physical Vire counter, nowhere near a Vire counter

Thunder could take advantage of Wide Lens, or Energy Ball as your team is weak to one called Swampert

I don't like the idea of having 2 DDers one on team, let alone both of which being 4x weak to Ice.

Without Roar, Raikou will be phazed a lot.

BEWARE SWAMPERT!!!

Anti February 26th, 2008 6:40 PM

Honestly two dragons doing mostly the same thing probably isn't smart, I'd throw in Dugtrio (adamant) over Garchomp or Mence (who BTW needs to drop the Focus sash) to kill Blissey and open up a sweep for Raikou.

Outlawed February 27th, 2008 11:31 AM

Erm, Have you realised that Weavile will so laugh at this except skarm, once skarm is out of the way, Ice Shard and Pursuit will kill you and, Brick Break buh bye bliss 2HKO and then finally Ice Punch or Night Slash STAB in Raikou's face. You'd think thunder wave was on your chancey to slow the weavile down o.o

Anti February 27th, 2008 12:20 PM

Weavile can actually beat up Skarmory with CB Ice Punch pretty bad. Especially if the person is running Smogon's EVs.

And Weavile is a mess of trouble here as Outlawed said. You can't really wall it at all.

Honestly Skarmbliss without any help only walls a few sweepers. There are a ton that can overpower Skarmory (I'm talking physical here) and a few that will even take out Blissey (talking about special sweepers).

Also Dugtrio/Raikou will beat your entire team with total ease.
