Saving over another file...?
My brother bought a used copy of Diamond today. He goes to save over the other file and it says...
"There is already a saved game file. It is impossible to save. Please refer to the Instruction Booklet for details. Press Up + Select +B Button on the title screen if you want to erase the current saved game file." How can I get to the title screen without cutting off the game? Or how can I save the game without losing all that work? My brother has already played 2 hours and he doesn't want to lose that... And the game didn't come with an Instruction Booklet because it was used (and I lost my Pearl game case, which had the booklet in it...) |
Oh, bummer. I think you have to erase the 2 hours.

Because of how the DS is set up, it syncs your Diamond or Pearl with the DS on which you first play it. So, even if you put another of the same game in, it'll have the same data. You have to play it on a different DS.

You are gonna have to redo that 2 hours I'm afraid.

"There is already a saved game file.
It is impossible to save. Please refer to the Instruction Booklet for details. Press Up + Select +B Button on the title screen if you want to erase the current saved game file." you have to delete the save file thats already on the game. press up, select, and b on the menu screen to delete the other save file. they made it so you have eto delete one save before saving another game. thus, you have to delete the file, and restart those 2 hours over again after deleteing the other save file this happened to me once |
v.v
You have to kill the 2 hours. It warned you when you first started playing that you cannot save unless you erase the data. Yeh should have done that then. |
