Best Training Areas and Methods?

Hey guys. I just got my 8th badge and all my pokemon are still below level 40 except for my Infernape who is at 41. What is the best place/way to train up before heading to the Victory road place?

Stay at the entrance of Victory Road and battle some pokes...
You'll get best exp.points for now...

Or else... go train your pokes by type... Like exemple... Go train an Electric type doing surf near Sunyshore and the like...

I agree with Le_Avatar here, but if the Pokemon are to strong or you have a type disadvantage, you should train in Iron Island, or Route 216(A route that leads from Mt. Coronet to Route 217), Route 217(A route that leads from Route 216 to Snowpoint City), or the water route that leads from Sunnyshore city to Victory Road.(Sorry, I forgot the name.) But, Victory road is still the best spot. To beat the Elite four, I like at least level 53 for your pokemon.(If you have a level 63 pokemon, you are going to wipe out the Elite four one by one!) Happy training! :)

i say that u go to the ocean and just fight a bunch of water pokes... they usually give sp def and hp evs ... if u go to the water right after 8th gym city that is

Yeah, I am also doing this, but at the end of victory road...I might try the water too though. I want my Gible to be high level though :)

I like the fisherman right before Sunnyshore they mainly have Gyrados and each one gives a little over 1000 exp I think. Anyways yeah I tend to use VS Seeker more than wild Pokes just for the little boost in exp.
