FR/LG wireless thingy

Has anyone else noticed that nintendo is so hyped about this wireless gaming device, but no one has told us how far it will go?

Mew9 July 19th, 2004 6:11 PM

thats wat i was wondering. 4 now, no one knows until Nintendo releases it or gives some info on it. the first info will most likely come first from E3.

Happy Dude July 20th, 2004 1:18 AM

i heard it goes 30 feet which is not really worth buying

Abusoru July 20th, 2004 4:48 AM

It comes free with FR/LG, so you wouldn't have to buy it.

Kelo July 22nd, 2004 6:16 PM

I just got my Nintendo power Today and they said that guaranteed range is ten feet but is capable of going much further

lil' jose July 22nd, 2004 6:19 PM

aznlittled July 22nd, 2004 8:03 PM

wtheck? only 10 feet? wtheck is the difference between a really long link cord then?

Happy Dude July 27th, 2004 1:22 AM

Where Do U Buy Nintendo Power From Heeeeeeeellllllllllllllllppppppppppppppppp

bna_li July 27th, 2004 1:25 AM

Don't spam, happy dude. I think that it really doesn't make ANY difference, and that Nintendo is trying to make some money out of something that has not much use.

Simon July 27th, 2004 1:37 AM

they should jsut make a linking device that works much faster than these link cables. and more effiecently.

Well, that's what the Wireless adapter is for.

It can link way more than 4 people with the Union Room and it's much farther than any link cable could reach. Plus, it's free. So why are we complaining?

Dirks August 3rd, 2004 5:56 PM

it's possible that if you have somone in range and that person in range that you don have it will relay that other out of range person to you

copy-cat7 August 3rd, 2004 7:23 PM

i heard it can go up to 30 feet, and they teamed up with motorola or something,.............but,ill admit, its cool, because then u dont have 2 buy a link cable,.......

Max of Pallet town August 3rd, 2004 8:42 PM

30 feet umm ok.....

Blastoise Master 8 August 5th, 2004 9:25 AM

will the adaptor work on a normal GameBoy advance (not SP)?

Abusoru August 5th, 2004 11:00 AM

It should since the game will work on the Advance and the SP version of the Gameboy.

bass sp August 5th, 2004 2:41 PM

yes it is very cool but i saw in a page that it will be of 40 dollars is like they are selling the wireless adapter to 10 dollars.

Toothache August 5th, 2004 3:16 PM

Any ideas if the wireless adaptor is going to be released in the UK? I hope so (and it would be extremely cool if we got it free with FR and LG).

aaaaaa August 6th, 2004 3:23 PM

Well here in Aus we're getting it, and it'll still be free with FR/LG.
So you should too, in Britland, Toothy :)
