Looks pretty solid to me. Might want to replace Dragonite's Persim Berry with something else, confusion isn't very common.

I gave Dragonite the berry for when he uses outrage and becomes confused. And being his speed/attack will be high, it'll be hit faint hit faint hit faint confused(Or thats the plan), eat the berry, and start all over.
|
Aggron should be removed. Why? Aggron gets slaughtered by Ground and Fighting types. Both are very common types and there's one pokemon which is common that can use both and kill Aggron. It's named,Salamence. So remove that and get some other wall such as Forretress or Skarmory or Donphan.
|
Hmmm how about Steelix??
Steelix (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Rock Head EV's: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Spd Nature:Impish (+Def, -SpA) -Iron Tail -Earthquake -Double Edge -Stone Edge Hmmm..... |
If you're going to have Lapras, Dragonite and Charizard in the same team, you need a spinner, as Lapras and Dragonite take 25% damage from Stealth Rock, and Charizard takes 50%. A few spinners that you could use are Forretress and Starmie.
Aggron is easily taken out by either fighting or ground moves, even with his high defence, so don't use him, use a better Physical Wall such as Donphan, Skarmory etc. You lack a special wall to soak up special attacks, Blissey is one special wall you could use. Also, what is Persim berry doing on Dragonite, confusion can be cured by a simple switch, Leftovers/Yache Berry (helps you actually survive an ice attack usually, but not recommend) or Life Orb, and Earthquake and Fire Punch over Aqua Tail and Aerial Ace, Fire and Ground provide better coverage than water and flying. On Gengar, Choice Scarf over Wise Glasses, Focus Blast over Dark Pulse and Hypnosis over Psychic. EDIT: Do you think a pokemon with a Base Defence of 200 needs much Defense investment? I thought not, better set to use from Smogon: Steelix @ Leftovers Impish Nature EVs: 252 HP/120 Atk/136 SpD -Stealth Rock -Earthquake -Toxic/Stone Edge -Explosion It needs the Special Defense EVs to help it actually take a special hit, as it's Special Defense Base stat is only 65. |

You need a special wall, id get rid of Lapras, its dead weight for this team. Same with Charizard, and without a Rapid Spinner, you loose your special sweepers very quickly. So add a spinner.... SO things to do - Better Physical wall >> Aggron NOT STEELIX, that dies to EQ and fighting moves aswell. Something such as Gliscor would be nice and you need a solid fighting resist for namely Breloom and Heracross and it also helps with T-tar to an extent, and with Dragons.. [email protected] 252 HP / 188 DEF / 72 SPEED Impish nature - Ice Fang - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - Roost - Starmie >> Lapras is what id suggest [email protected] 172 HP / 120 SP.ATT / 216 SPEED Timid Nature Trait : Natural Cure - Thunderbolt - Surf - Rapid Spin - Recover Try that. - Special wall you still need, >> Either Dragonite or Gallade....... |
Dragonite(M) @ Persim Berry

Heracross(M) @ Leftovers Ability: Guts/Swarm EV's: 252 Atk / 126 Hp / 126 SpD Nature: Careful (+SpD,-SpA) -Megahorn -Close Combat/Brick Break? -Arial Ace/Earthquke/Stone Edge? -Night Slash/Shadow Claw? Charizard(M) @ Leftovers Ability: Blaze EV's: 252 Spd / 252 SP.ATT / 6 HP Nature:Timid (+Spd,-Atk) -Heat Wave -Air Slash -Dragon Pulse -Focus Blast Starmie(M)@leftovers Ability: Natural Cure 172 HP / 120 SpA/ 216 Spd Nature: Timid(+Spd,-Atk) - Thunderbolt - Surf - Psychic - Recover/Ice Beam? Dragonite(M) @ Persim Berry
Ability: Inner Focus EV's: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP Nature: Jolly -Fire Punch -Outrage -Earthquake -Dragon Dance Gengar(M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 64 HP / 252 S.Atk / 192 Spe Nature: Modest (+SpA, - Atk) -Shadow Ball -Hypnosis -Psychic -Thunderbolt I Figured a Gengar with Mega Drain would be wierd. Gliscor(M)@Lefovers Ability: Hyper Cutter EV's: 252 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spd Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpA) - Ice Fang - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - Roost Charizard(M) @ Leftovers Ability: Blaze EV's: 252 Spd / 252 SpA/ 6 HP Nature:Timid -Heat Wave -Air Slash -Dragon Pulse -Focus Blast Starmie(M)@leftovers Ability: Natural Cure 172 HP / 120 SpA/ 216 Spd Nature: Timid - Thunderbolt - Surf - Rapid Spin - Recover Snorlax(M)@ Leftovers Ability: Thick Fat EV's: 126 Spd/ 126 Def/ 126 Hp/ 126 Atk/ 4 Spd Nature:Careful (+SpD, -SpA) -Rest -Sleep Talk -Body Slam -Crunch |
Its far easier to edit the original team than post it half way down the page.
Gotta go so just a few points: *Different item on dragonite please, chances are they will have switched in a counter as soon as you're locked into outrage, so you'll only be switching aswell. *Those snowlax EVs are Ewwwww, but im no expert on him so ill leave that to someone else *Yes mega drain gengar would be weird, it would also suck bigtime. Looks ok at first glance, ill rate fully tomorrow :) |
This looks much much better.
Snorlax evs 252 HP / 28 DEF / 236 SP.DEF |
IMO snorlax runs a 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef spread better. The Def EVs don't really help and the extra SDef...it can come in handy, especially when a sandstorm is active and Nasty Plot Azelf is terrifying you lol
|
So i reposted the team at the top. Any more changes i should make?
|
Quote:
BTW, DA, it's not 252 HP, 28 DEF, 236 SDEF, it's 244 HP, 28 DEF, 236 SDEF. |
The extra SDef will make a difference. If is often the difference between a 2HKO and a 3HKO from the likes of Nasty Plot Azelf.
|
....So i should or shouldnt change anything?

Okey. That is a messed up team because you have Dragonite a Dragon/Flying and Charizard a Fire/Flying and Gliscor a Ground/Flying.
So really get rid of two of them. It's fine but it's way off! |
How are they messed up. They don't really share any common weaknesses, and their's nothing wrong with having three flying types... unless its like Dragonite Salamence and Altaria...
|
It's Messed up because personaly you really shouldn't have too many of the same type.
Yeah sure if they have a combo it might help but still having over two of the same is too much. |
Plus Dragonite and Gliscor both share the Ice weakness of 4x effective.
So it really isn't all that good. Especially since Ice is also Normal effective against Charizard. So 1 good Ice Pokemon and half the team is totaled. |

So pretty nice party! However, you should have a pokemon that knows the move wish, so then starmie can get double healing, or any of your pokemon can get healing. |
