Do you know HOW
How do I setup wi-fi? I need to trade with people but I need to have it setup so please help
|
1st things first, what kind of internet do you have?
|
Wireless intenet thanks for the reply
|
Go to nintendowifi.com and follow the step by step. After you do that, if you can't connect, type in the error code you get and then it should say what to do after. I personally couldn't get it connected, so I just bought a USB connector for 30 bucks.
|
go to Wi-Fi Connection Setttings then tap the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings then tap the Connection 1 then tap Seach for an Acess Point, tap your Wireless Internett Connection then tap Test connection if succesful you have it hope this helps :)

No probs. Basically on the main menu (Continue, new game ect) there is a bottom option asking about wifi settings. Click on it and there will be an option asking you about connections. Click on it and search for access points, and when it finds yours just type in the codes and such and you're away :)
(I've done that from memory but its generally the right order :P) |
is easy
1 u go to pokemon menu in ur game where it say Continue, New game, Migratate from (game) well the last one is nintendo WFC settings 2 u put Nintendo WFC settings 3 put nintendo wifi connection setting 4 chose connection 1 5 is easier to put just then acces Point, because ur ds ditect automatic ur internet and then if u got password u put it and thats all. 6 (optional) if it dosent work you put manual setup in SSID: put the name of ur internet WEB KEY: put the password it have to be WEB , ds donsent accept WAP passwords Auto obtain ip adrres: yes Auto obtain DNS: yes |
Now how do I accutally get on it I have it setup and I can get on it but how?
|
You can either go
Into the GTS- the building in jubilife. Here you can put your pokes in and ask for others back Orrrr In the pokemon center basement, where you trade/battle people you've registered. To register people you need the palpad, an item gotten from the pokemon center basement, the woman on the far right-hand side gives it to you. |
Actually I'm also having trouble doing Wi-Fi connection. Everything is good until I test it and it says "Error Code 52000 Unable to obtain an IP address. Move within range of the access point or check DHCP settings." I went to nintendowifi.com and I got to the part were it said to change your IP address but couldn't go any further. The button was gray and I couldn't edit it. Recently I started thinking that it may be because I got my DS from someone else. I don't know what to do and would appreciate help.
Also, how do you find the WEP Key. |
