Rate the team...

Alright, a good friend of mine challenged me to a Diamond and Pearl pokemon battle. So I had to dust the game off and do a little bit of homework, but I'm still not 100% sold on my team.

Tell me what all of you think and if you have any opinions on what to change throw out a name or two.

Thanks...

My Party:

Electabuzz ( or Electivire depending on Electabuzz's stats at 100 )
Gallade
Swampert
Houndoom
Lucario
Dragonite ( this one I realize many may dislike and tell me Garchomp but since he said he's using a Garchomp I didn't want to use the same Dragon )

It would be easier to rate your team if you gave all of the info you've got on the pokemon, like their movesets, natures, evs, and maybe even ivs

Well the stats are rather pontless at this point because they are all between 18 and 50 because I'm training the team, but the natures I can do.

Gallade - Bashful
Dragonite - Impish
Houndoom - Serious
Swampert - Timid
Electabuzz - Hasty
Lucario - Impish

This should be in the "Strategies and Movesets" thread. I really cannot give some suggestions cause there's no movesets and stats. Although natures can affect the stats, especially Lucario.

Ya I realized after I posted it here where it SHOULD have gone... but now when it comes down to it, what good are stats going to be the Pokemon isn't 100?

And I've gathered that the moves now since they are broken down into Special based and Physical based a Pokemon like Houndoom should have all special based attacks due to it's Special being higher where as Gallade would benefit from Physical based attacks.

But with that aside there is no clear cut elite Pokemon for each type anymore?

Also you could recommend moves if you'd like. I threw this out here mainly for opinion cause it has been a long time since I've seriously trained any Pokemon.

yeah movesets are really important. Besides it isn't a bad idea to have a copy of your team saved to your computer

There is an entire forum for this. Try posting there, but read the rules first.
