This is messed

Ok i have a lucario and i hatched it from that egg like every one else did and got my riolu but this is just messed there are no egg moves for for it after it evolves into lucario like it came from an egg so it was breeded and it should have egg moves when you want to tutor it.any one else as mad as me about this?

El Gofre March 29th, 2008 1:22 PM

You do realise the parents need the egg moves? They dont just learn them out of nowhere

Dawn_and_dusk March 29th, 2008 1:28 PM

Yah I know that but we dont no that part so the guys who made the game should have just given us the moves

ClassicRockFan March 29th, 2008 1:30 PM

Actually, a lot of people know that the male parent needs the egg move to pass it on to the offspring.

El Gofre March 29th, 2008 1:31 PM

Yeah, its common knowledge. Extremely obvious, and common knowledge.

Ayano Katagiri March 29th, 2008 1:32 PM

Um... exactly why give us the moves straight off? It would make the more desired egg moves which you'd normally have to breed for too easily obtainable and that'd would just widespread its use. Besides, people breed to get those moves all the time and like said above, it's pretty common knowledge now.
Even if it'd be nice to have the moves, it would make no sense in having Pokemon being hatched and just randomly having egg moves which its parents didn't even have learnt. It'd be like being able to walk before you could even crawl.

El Gofre March 29th, 2008 1:36 PM

Plus, most pokes can learn anywhere up to a dozen egg moves, how would it pick which 4 you got?
