RMT with very interesting title (-)_(-) I R WATCHING U sos got board

time for a new team, works well on shoddy, not quite ready to bread and train it yet.
a few gaps, milotic owns this party gallade doesn't have the attack, tangrowth goes down to ice beam, yanmega can 2HKO it, but ice beam 1HKO's it back. using hypnosis and letting yanmega do its stuff is the only option i have unfortunately

Typhlosion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Eruption
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Overheat
---
only openers it cant 1HKO other than sash'ers are hippowdon and gyarados (common ones any way) i tried it on one and it owned oh so many noobs and not so noob players, very good revenge killer as well focus blast is mainly a filler i used to have EQ there

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP/200 Atk/56 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Hypnosis
---
its bronzong. hypnosis is commonly switched with rest

Gallade @ Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 160 HP/160 Atk/188 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Shadow Sneak
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Thunderpunch
---
works alot better than if you gave it some speed EV's, its more switch in worthy thunderpunch is there instead of night slash because this team needs that type coverage

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP/228 Def/28 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder
- Swords Dance
---
it sits there, acts all fat, and gives some damage out while its at it. for the first slot i used to have knock off but that wasn't working, so i gave it HP electric (no i do not know what i was thinking) but its late so i will retire with swords dance for now. (that does not work ether)

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Vacuum Wave
- Close Combat
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Ice]
---
type coveradge and good sweeping ability's need i say more?

Yanmega @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Shadow Ball
---
i decided to swap to this set because i didn't like to sit around waiting using protect and only having two attack moves. but this works very well on its own and due to the fact that people don't expect scarf. shadow ball is for slowbro and cress who where giving me problems

gets mostly 6-0 wins due to typhlosion but thats not quite the case against anybody good but once this team gets to the point where typhlosion loses its credibility it time to change it over. works well though.

Go Speed Boost > Tinted Lens and Leftovers / LO on Yanmega.

Levitate > HeatProof. >.>

Also, no Special Wall, and based on your lack of Clerics, Blissey would be great:

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpA
Bold / Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss / Ice Beam.

Lucario doesn't need Max Speed, BTW. In all honesty, Mixed Lucario is fail compared to other sets. Specsluke 2HKO's Blissey. So go Aura Sphere > Close Combat and Specs instead of LO.

Speed EVs on Tangrowth? No.

Also, Gallade does not need Shadow sneak. >.< go Psycho Cut.

200 ATK is overkill, your defenses and HP come first.

But I like the idea of a bulky Gallade.

Lucario does need max speed, base 90 gets outrun by a LOT of major threats. Mixed sets do suck on it though.
What is swords dance doing a physical wall? Im not expert on the big pile of weeds but that needs changing.

Well, I've seen some sets from Walls and the likes using SD. If it can get a couple of them, It's great. Be wary of Skarm, though. Which with Typlosion on the team, you don't have to be.

Yep, i agree with this, apart from running a beastly Choice Band set, Gallade can fill a great support role on your team aswell.

EQ and Shadow sneak are lol on gallade in all honesty

~ Psycho Cut
~ Will-O-Wisp / Thunder Wave / Hypnosis / Wish
~ Close Combat
~ Thunderpunch

Something like that.

For gods sake man, put Knock off back on Tangrowth NOAW !!! Thats one of its selling points, Knocking off items cripples many things........

Anti April 2nd, 2008 11:21 AM

I love how I popularized "in all honesty." lol

Either way, Yanmega with Choice Scarf is silly IMO. It doesn't hit very hard which doesn't help. My real problem is that your two choice item users are weak to SR and Spikes sinks the others, and you don't have a rapid spinner. I would add one...or you won't be sweeping anything.

Sora_8920 April 2nd, 2008 11:59 AM

Starmie could replace Typlosion, and you could still counter Skarm.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 172 HP / 216 Spe / 120 SpA
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Surf
- Thunderbolt.

thx for all your input, i knew that there was some glitches in there but it was getting too late to try and fix them, also have i been made a moderator now? how did that happen or is that just me who can see moderator beneath my name. wait just as i post it it went :(

Syaoran April 2nd, 2008 8:26 PM

Tinted Lens Yanmega is no joke. I would suggest Hypnosis over Shadow Ball tho - having 2 pokes with Hypnosis isn't necessarily bad ;)
Bronzong can run Reflect instead, seeing that your party is quite weak on the defensive area [Gallade, Luke, Typhlosion].

Your team is extremely weak to Heatran, even Typhlosion wouldn't enjoy constantly switching on fire moves. I don't see why you need 2 fighters, I'd recommend Starmie over this, to eliminate Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin, allowing Yanmega to switch in without losing precious HP.

April Fools Day was the day before yesterday. So that's why you had a mod tag under your name.
