This is actually a nice team

Id maybe CB, that Weavile and go with ice Shard, helps with dragon Dancers and Scarf Chomp especially. Also, you only need 216 speed evs on weavile, so you can outpace Duggy, Sceptile and Zam. Put the rest in hp, which is 40, 40 hp evs let you come in on an unboosted Azelfs Flamethrower and live, it also allows you to survive a Specs starmies surf =).

I also like T-Wave >> Ice Beam on bliss more tbh, it will allow P-Z to sweep better late game. AS for bliss's ev spread, try 40 HP / 252 DEF /216 SP.DEF @Calm works best for nerfing specs gar (whom your quite weak to), Porygon-z, Taunt Heatran and other stupidly powerful sp.sweepers.

Make dusknoir physically oriented 252 HP / 180 DEF / 76 SP.DEF @IMPISH. then it can act as your phys wall.

hmm. should i use breloom or weavile to start? both have fairly strong movesets and are quite adept to the job, and i've also tried both, but they both work quite well and i cant really decide without outside knowledge :(. also, i'll likely drop ice beam from bliss, and put in t-wave, and do all that EV stuff you were talking about. thank god for correction berries.

Id experiment with both and see which works best for ya, as it just so happens that Weavile and Breloom are great leads.

Kudos for using Anti-Lead Breloom btw, Protect first turn to activate Toxic orb and to scout = Pure win lol

Also, you can move 20 hp evs from breloom and put them in speed, this lets you outspeed Rhyperior, its up to you though.

indeed. though if i end up using weavile i'll likely give breloom a fighting move with a bit more power. brick break or sky uppercut likely. maybe drain punch for some more hp recovery.

Double post. Someone delete this one please.

Nah, keep mach punch, it helps with Foe weavile and stuff.

Or you could change it to the SporePunch set, which is a little similar. I do belive the SporePunch set looks like:

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal / Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 ATK / 212 SPD / 44 HP
- Spore
- Seed Bomb
- Focus Punch
- Stone Edge

If you do add this, use a steel type. Weavile rapes you without Mach punch on Breloom, so yeah..

Arcknight316 April 3rd, 2008 4:49 PM

My thoughts exactly. I thought, "Oh, no, Weavile rapes this team", until I saw Mach Punch. So keep it.

BTW, I would keep Breloom as your lead, because, if you don't, then you'd be stuck with revenge killing Weavile leads instead of killing them the first turn. So, yeah, stick with that.

ABYAY April 3rd, 2008 6:09 PM

That breloom set is a first to my eyes, but I don't know how the pokegeneration has shifted since my times. From the looks, Calm Blissey is overtaking Bold ones like crazy.

I like the standardness of this team. For Weavile, Expert Belt is a decent choice I suppose, but it'd be a better revenge killer with Pursuit/Ice Shard/Ice Punch/Brick Break. Night Slash seems iffy to me. I just seem to enjoy Ice better ^^

Sora_8920 April 4th, 2008 2:40 AM

Protect is basically like a Sub, ABYAY. And it sets up TO, like DA said.

Blissey doesn't have a need for speed. =P

Choice Band Ice Shard works better, from my point of view.

Pretty good team.

Ewww, without Night Slash, Cressy, Dusknoir and any other sturdy psychic or ghosts will wall the crap out of weavile, which is embarrassing, even Pursuit will do ass, if they decide to stay in =/

jyangx85 April 4th, 2008 11:37 AM

k, so breloom lead is better to keep weavile at bay, night slash>ice punch and t-wave on blissey, with a bunch of EV changes. k.

Anti April 4th, 2008 11:43 AM

I have to ask...what happens if weavile is running CB Ice Shard? It will be faster and will destroy Breloom.

Also, I recommend running a good lead, not one designed just to deal with certain leads.

jyangx85 April 4th, 2008 11:46 AM

ohko on weavile and 2hko on t-tar is reason enough for me to use it imo. that's just me however. spore can cause switches on most other leads that dont run sleep talk[which is fairly rare on a lead from my experience]

Switch to something that resists XD Thats the beauty of protect =p

But yeah, you might want a bit more resistance against it, You could easily run a steel such as metagross, Scizor...
