Why would you use HP Ice on a Choice Bander with Jolly Nature?

And Thunderbolt has more BP then Discharge.

Counter is actually pretty gimmicky on a Special Sweeping Ampharos.

Why would you want speed on Clefable? Clefable doesn't have a need for speed. =P

I can't really how this team needs Stealth Rock support.

Gyro Ball on Claydol with a Relaxed Nature works pretty well.

Ampharos @ Leftovers
Trait: Static
EVs: 16 HP / 24 Atk / 112 SpA / 168 Spe
Hasty Nature (+Spe, -Def)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Thunderbolt
- HP Ice.

Meganium @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 SpD
Calm Nature (SpD, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Leech Seed
- Energy Ball
- Substitute / HP Fire / Ice / Electric.

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 216 HP / 152 Def / 4 SpA / 128 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Rest
- Rapid Spin
- Yawn. Same thing, basically, with a better working spread.

Remove the Speed EVs on Clefable, and invest them into Special Attack.

And Gyro Ball > Stealth Rock.

Claydol is too fast for Gyro Ball, it has bas 75 speed, you want Gyro ball on something with like base 30 speed such as Bronzong and forretress =/

Also why have you replaced Reflect with Sub, on a wall ??!! *Looks at meganium*

As for the team....

And yes, its no shock that Claydoly is uu, it really is offensively retarded, cant do anything to spin blockers, dies to pursuit and has a tonne of weaknesses, UU/BL is where it belongs.

Id make clefable "Blissey lite", tbh, it makes a surprisingly good sp.wall in UU, 252 HP / 252 SP.DEF / 6 DEF @Calm.

Not feeling 2 electric type pokes, their sets are too similar in coverage replace one.

I was also taking this seriously until i saw two rapid spinners, redundant or what XD

Yeah, I just realized how dumb the HP ice is on CBchu and the two rappid spinners... :P I wanted a Stealth Rocker because of Yawn. (and if they don't switch out and they happen to be weak to fighting type attacks they get Falcon Punched by Raichu)

Might replace CBchu with a Light Ball Pikachu or CB Nidoking. I just wish the Light Ball doubled speed as well...

Keep in mind, I'm pretty rusty.

Blastoise / Claydol make up the two physical wallers, thus, why there is no need for Reflect.

Dark Azelf April 4th, 2008 11:05 AM

Umm with SD Pinsir and CB Primape running around, Reflect is REALLY needed.

I'm sorry but Stealth Rock is 1000x more useful on Claydol than Gyro Ball.

Interesting team, but the lack of resistances is a bummer. I would replace one of your electrics to cover your weaknesses (though there aren't too many). You don't really have any type weaknesses (though those are pretty overrated anyways, if people rate them highly at all), but lack of a normal resist and difficulty with a few types that absolutely crush Claydol could prove troublesome.

I'm no expert on the UU game though, so meh. I would take out an electric for something, the second one isn't needed at all.
