Rate/Help my Ruby Team
Hello I'm new to pokecommunity and pokemon ruby and this is my current pokemon team, can you help me with the movesets, natures, items and Ev's and even if you think which pokemon I should dump.
Milotic + Mystic water (mirror coat, ice beam, surf, recover) Machamp + Blackbelt (earthquake, cross chop, hyper beam, bulk up) Salamence + (dragon claw, dragon dance, earthquake, double-edge) Tyranitar + Leftovers (rock slide, crunch, earthquake, ice beam) Kingdra + (ice beam, surf, raindance, rest) Metagross + Leftovers (psychic, earthquake, agility, meteor mash) and which pokemon should I give up for; Crobat + Macho Brace (ariel ace, confuse ray, toxic, protect) Thanks for helping :) |
Do give the community some time to respond ^_^; This isn't instant messenger so it does take time for people to get on and post. We discourage double posting (posting 2 times in a row) so try not to do that in the future ^^;
Do review through the advanced trainers' guide stickied in this forum to see what some of the mistakes (especially items) this team commits. The moveset are mostly fine however. Milotic- [def, sp.atk or sp.def + / atk -] @ leftovers EV: Hp, def, sp.atk, sp.def -surf -ice beam -recover -toxic/mirror coat Mystic water really only boosts damage by x1.1. That's quite minimal so don't use it. Use leftovers instead to help out with tankability. Machamp- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ quick claw EV: atk, hp, def -cross chop -earthquake -rock slide/light screen/facade -HP Ghost/light screen/facade I'll personally stick HP Ghost on just to hit the very VERY common Dusclops and Gengars out there (not all Gengars have psychic, and if they do, well you're messed.) Facade with guts is always a plus and a killer with Machamp's strength. Light screen is also an option to boost sp.def and pseudo-passing. Salamence- [atk + / sp.atk-] @ lum berry EV: anything but sp.atk -dragon dance -earthquake -aerial ace -rock slide/flamethrower standard but it can be very useful... you get to choose either rock slide to hit other salamences and a better edge against Aerodactyl (who will most likely OHKO you unless you are at full hp) and Crobat, or flamethrower to hit Skarmory and other physical tanks. Rock slide is most likely the better choice for most teams though... Tyranitar- [atk or speed + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers EV: atk, speed -dragon dance -earthquake -rock slide -brick break A copy of salamence who traded away the x4 ice weakness for a x4 brick break weakness... however it's your best friend against Weather Teams. Kingdra- use modest definitely... and throw away rest for HP electric/grass to hit water absorbers. Either way, Omastar > Kingdra. Metagross- meh another standard... use lum berry instead of leftovers to protect the attack power and speed from will o wisp and thunderwave. Rating: 4 OU (the high stat ones), 2 UU (Machamp and Kingdra)... pretty much the powerhouse team using 3 of the 4 Pokemon wiht the highest stats in game excluding Slaking and ubars/legendaries. |
is that all
even though i apprecate it |
look
wut bout my crobat i love him |
which movesets, natures, items and Evc's would you give to
Gardevoir, Dusclops. Crobat, hercaross, ninjask, chariazrd, snorlax nd espeon |
Don't double or triple post. Frosty just told you that. And like Frosty said, give people time to respond.
I don't feel like typing much but you can use Ninjask and Heracross together for BPing and Reversal. [email protected]/stat raising berry EVs: Attack and Speed Subsitute Baton Pass Swords Dance Silver Wind [email protected] raising berry (Swarm as ability) Reversal Endure Megahorn Earthquake Keep subbing with Ninjask until you can't anymore. Then BP to Heracross and endure a bit until you're low on HP. Then use Reversal. Just watch out for QAers. ~Just a shadow...~ |
