What would you do?

What would you do if one day your game just stuffed up and everything just got deleted and you had to buy a new Pokemon game and start all over again?

I myself would quit Pokemon.

hothead May 8th, 2008 1:40 AM

I don't know why you would quit i would just start again that is my favorite thing i don't mind starting it again

Sajiri May 8th, 2008 2:00 AM

Depending on which game it was. I have Diamond and Pearl now so it wouldnt matter if I lost one. If I lost Emerald...probably just get another copy and restart. Any other game I wouldnt bother replacing. But its not horrifying enough to just make me 'quit' it is just a game and not the company's fault if you do something to stuff the game up

dragonarche May 8th, 2008 2:08 AM

i would go and buy a action replay and do pokesave

Wichu May 8th, 2008 2:27 AM

I back up my save files :3

Archer May 8th, 2008 3:27 AM

For me, what I know about the games is far more important than what I have in them. Most things can be replaced.

Cid May 8th, 2008 3:37 AM

I would get angry at first, but it depends on how long I've been playing it... But I won't give up on Pokemon...

I'll just get a new one and start a new game...

Indeed, backing up the save files is great. Not only does it not matter if the current file is corrupted, but you can also load an older save if you need to go back for some reason.

So, no I wouldn't give up with Pokemon!

Mitchman May 8th, 2008 6:25 AM

If D/P I would say screw it. No way am I going through that again. But anything Johto/kanto sure. Hoenn I have doubts

DCFC_Woody May 8th, 2008 6:41 AM

Ermm I would probley quit too...

I have every single pokemon released on pokemon diamond and no way am I getting them ALL, all over again

Mystery2009 May 8th, 2008 7:15 AM

step one-buy a new game
step two-beat it
step three-start asking for help(ev items pkrs ect)
step four-begin trading for new evd
step five-begin battling again

what i would do

Iron Shaman May 8th, 2008 8:12 AM

I'd close my trading shops, and continue battling on shoddy.

I like other games better than pokémon anyway.

Toblerone May 8th, 2008 8:16 AM

Well, i wouldn't necessarily buy a new one.. i'd probably wait for a remake of the two, if there is to be one!

Sweet Speed May 8th, 2008 10:29 AM

I'll just wait for the next one because I can't be bothered to get a new one :D

XDLugia May 8th, 2008 11:49 AM

i would be upset at first because i would have lost many things that i possibly can't get again. then i would just wait for the next one to come out and start the long process to get all of the pokemon ... again.

paperfunk May 8th, 2008 2:21 PM

i'd be extremly pissed for about an hour, then probably go and buy a new one, or wait for opal

wow.................. we AGREE on something! O_O

I'd restart even my GBA games all over again... and get Opal/DP3 when it's out

torch2424 May 8th, 2008 3:30 PM

....

i would FIRE MEH LASER and get really mad and get a new copy....

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ May 8th, 2008 5:00 PM

Probably go on a big, long tirade, but eventually I would give up and just buy a new game and play through it again...

Jack Surge May 8th, 2008 5:19 PM

I would, uh, use my other game. *has both Diamond and Pearl* If both got deleted, then I'd probably, uh, go buy a new Diamond, play through it, then download Pokesav and make copies of all my competitive pokemon I have now so it feels the same.

I don't think I'd quit. I enjoy it too much.

Oh, and hi, DarkPersian!

Plasmaniac May 8th, 2008 6:24 PM

I would probaly start yelling random bad words at no one... but I guess I would buy a new one and start over again, I haven't turned on my Pokemon in a while, so a fresh start would be a good comeback...

GreenStorm May 8th, 2008 6:35 PM

I would get pissed but then eventually start over again. I'm used to it since it happened to me a few times...

Golden Riolu May 8th, 2008 7:24 PM

If any game but Diamond stopped working, I'd shrug and put it away with Silver and Crystal (they stopped working years ago). But if Diamond stopped working, I would turn it off and on several times to see if it made any difference, then start crying. I have all my best and favourite Pokemon on there, including my Shiny Lucario, and some of them I love so much that if I lost them, they would be irreplaceable. Sure, I could always rebreed or catch more, but they just wouldn't be the same.

SherlockHolmeboy May 9th, 2008 2:17 AM

That actually happened to me. >.< I got prety cheesed off for a while, but I wised up and started again. :P

Patchy May 9th, 2008 9:40 AM

I'd cry. I really would. I have so many legit shinies, and they took me SO LONG TO GET. I remember when Sapphire got deleted, I think it was because I had my finger over the open part that goes into the GBA. (Ironically, it was to PREVENT deletion.)

I might try getting them all again. But it's unlikely.

raging lion May 9th, 2008 9:45 AM

I won't quit. Just buy another game and play it again.
