help on visualboyadvance

I installed visualboyadvanced through synaptic. I am trying to play ShinyGold. The title screen comes and it say press start. I hit enter but it says, "The 1M circuit board is not installed." How do I fix this? I am new to visualboyadvanced. FireRed without the patch has the same problem.

I can help you....! you need an INI file called vbaover. you can search for it at Google by typing vbaover.ini download on the search bar.... I hope that'll work for you... :)

Q. "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed." What does this mean? How do I fix this?
A. Open up VisualBoyAdvance without loading any ROMs. Go to the "Options" menu and select "Emulator", "Save Type". Select "Automatic" and "Flash 128K" as your save type. Delete the save file associated to your Emerald ROM.

The same applies to FireRed/LeafGreen

That should fix your problem lol

EDIT: Btw, you put this in the wrong section, it should be in the Emulation section.

This really is the wrong forum. And looks like you got your answer. If you do have any other questions on this sort of stuff post it in the Emulation forum (it's the forum it should be in).
