Who have you seen LIVE?

Have you ever been to a live concert? Who did you see?

Chikara May 30th, 2008 11:37 AM

I don't usually go to concerts, so I've only been to one.

I saw Relient K at a club by the beach with one of my friends. She was so happy she could see them, but it was my first time hearing them.

Snivi May 30th, 2008 2:21 PM

Saryka May 30th, 2008 7:06 PM

I've seen Avril Lavigne live twice, and I've seen My Chemical Romance live as well. I suppose I could count seeing The Bled live too, as they opened for MCR.

And if I were nineteen, I would have been able to have seen Cobra Starship and The Academy Is... live too. Such is life. D:

Darkhaven3 May 30th, 2008 7:54 PM

I saw Fate's Warning when I was young, and I saw Rush fairly recently. That's it.

Astinus May 30th, 2008 9:26 PM

I've seen people no one my age has heard of. XD

I've seen Neil Diamond three times, and am seeing him again in August. I've seen Paul Simon and Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys a few years ago. And I also saw Maneim Steamroller around Christmas time a long time ago.

Tré May 30th, 2008 9:30 PM

well i think ma latest is the green day band in japan when we visit there...

Shadowfaith May 31st, 2008 2:56 AM

I'm not really a fan if gigs because I get clostraphobic (spelling?). I did see Korn live in January and I saw the Bloodhound gang when they played a gig in the local metal club, sin city. But other than that...thats about it XP

Percy Thrillington June 1st, 2008 11:19 AM

I've seen Coldplay and The Kasier Chiefs. Both times, I was in the pit, which is a section up at the very front for very important people. Obviously, I wasn't important, but my dad did happen to know one of the security guards, who just happened to get us into the pit on both occasions. Coldplay was amazing, the other band was okay, but their songs are short and they had to keep repeating verses which was sort of annoying.

Victoria~ June 1st, 2008 6:54 PM

I went to U2 and Rolling Stone's concert last year.. And Aerosmith's show in 2004.
It was truly.. amazing x] It was really nice, I even cried xB

LipstickTraces June 5th, 2008 6:19 AM

I saw The Stereophonics in November last year and The Smashing Pumpkins in February. Both were great, but Pumpkins didn't do an encore :( Outraged I was, really wanted them to do Cherub Rock! And they didn't even open the upper tier for them.

The Phonics filled the venue. It was a packed house, but me and my mate were sat near some pretty boring folks who were evidently waiting for the only song they knew that existed by them...Have A Nice Day.

How dissapointed they must have been wasting £35.

003 June 6th, 2008 2:08 AM

I saw Theory of a Deadman once, live in concert.

Cherrim June 12th, 2008 8:55 PM

Avril Lavigne (and Gob, who was touring with her), Evanescence (and Finger Eleven, also touring), and Buddy Guy.

Plus some other smaller bands no one has heard of. I'm not really one for live music. It's cool but... I dunno. Tickets are expensive. ;_;

Merzbau June 12th, 2008 10:41 PM

Painted Man, Victims of Public Education, Adonis, Concrete Sky, and my friend's crappy screamo band.

Adonis sucks, so does my friend's band.

~*!*~Tatsujin Gosuto~*!*~ June 13th, 2008 3:54 PM

I've seen over 20 and others I can't remember. I've seen all my top fave bands

:t354:TG

PokemonRox June 13th, 2008 4:19 PM

Kinda sad but I've only seen Lynyrd Skynyrd at Universal like a year ago..

Mr. Pokemon June 15th, 2008 3:33 PM

Saw Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Friday, making it my first "real" concert. The only other concert I've been to really is a Beatles tribute band called Help!. They were good, but they aren't technically a real band, at least in my opinion. Steve Winwood opened for TP&HB and he was good, except I didn't know any of his songs.

Lucy Lu June 16th, 2008 2:06 PM

I seen Snoop Dogg and The Game in concert. That is all so far. There are many concerts I want to see, but they are seem so far away from where I live. I don't want to drive 6 hours on the road. Not worth it.

KurlyFries June 17th, 2008 10:26 PM

Trans-Siberian Orchestra, then Blood, Sweat & Tears not too long ago.
they actually came to our small town of 25,000

tat55 June 18th, 2008 3:11 PM

I've seen Nickleback, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace. I am also going to see Seether, Sevendust, Red and others this summer!

Percy Thrillington June 18th, 2008 3:30 PM

I last posted in this thread on June first, since then, I saw Radiohad in Malahide Castle about nearly two weeks ago. They have to be more musically talented than Rush, and that's saying something. They're amazing live.

Motsuko Live June 18th, 2008 5:33 PM

In 2005, I saw 50 Cent at the Scotia Bank Place in Ottawa, ON. It started at 10:15 pm (if I remember correctly). At approximately 1:50 am the next morning, I burnt all of my 50 cent CD's. Horrible rapper, even more horrible live :/

I've also seen the BEPs, Billy Talent and Hedley. In 12 days, I'm going to see Hedley again. ^^;

Oh, and I've also seen "Motsuko" Live...
>_> I'm a loser. xD

Michii June 18th, 2008 6:02 PM

Unfortunately, Michii fails at life. Therefore, she has not seen anyone live willingly. However, when she was but six or seven, she was dragged to an Nsync concert, where she soon fell asleep. XDD

That's where I stopped reading. xD
jkbutya... that must have sucked? :/

Warheart June 21st, 2008 8:05 AM

Aside from all the crappy local bands with no musical talent whatsoever that i see with my friends almost weekly, I've seen:

Opeth (Grand Conjuration tour)
Mudvayne (Ozzfest 2004)
Killswitch Engage (Twice)
Unholy Allience Tour (Lamb of God, Slayer, Children of Bodom, and a few less memorable bands)
Tool (September 2006 tour, right after the release of 10,000 days)
Bullet for my Valentine (...stfu, it was against my free will <_<)
Disturbed (I think it was in 2006? Not sure which tour, though...)
Unearth (Twice)

So yeah, that's my lineup as of right now.

Percy Thrillington June 23rd, 2008 1:33 PM

This is my third and probably final post in this thread, but last night I went to see Linkin Park. I wasn't sure what to expect. Don't get me wrong or whatever, I love their music, but, obviously, most of it is edited by audio and digital means and I wasn't sure how they'd be without all those special effects. To be honest, they were fantastic. I'd say the best songs they played were What I've Done and Shadow of the Day. I'd reccommend them to anyone.

Sydian June 23rd, 2008 2:05 PM

I'm probably the lamest one posting...

But I've only seen American Idols on Tour Seasons 2 and 4. xD

Mainly because the guys that won those seasons were totally awesome. :D

Asura Nirosuki June 23rd, 2008 2:31 PM

DOODE!!! I would love to see them! Srsly, they are like one of my favorite bands... :D!

Anyway, I've only seen a few live :/.

Newsboys (eh, they were OK. I'm not a fan of Christian Rock)
One Star Story (My friend's brother is the drummer in that band... my ears still hurt from the way too loud bass in a confined area :(.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Honestly... their concerts are way too long. 5 hours at the Scottrade Center and they STILL weren't done DX!!)

Recently I got out of seeing Barry Manilow... I had the house to myself for the whole night >D!!!
