Testing how realistic Pokesav is
Okay so i hacked (i know its not allowed here, but i wanna see how good pAC/other hack detection methods actually are, its not like im battling/trading them(well i am, but not claiming that they are legit, if you know what i mean)), you can release them immediatly after if you wish, it doesnt effect me) some pokemon, and i want to see if people can detect if they are hacked or not, send me pokemon that nobody wants (*Cough* bidoof *Cough*) and see if you can test them in any way to determine if they are hacked.
of course, you will know they are hacked, but some guy on shoddy this morning was claiming there is no way to tell that pokesav'ed pokemon are fake, i dont believe this, but i want to see it myself. the idea is this: i send you a hacked pokemon, you use whatever you can to prove that it is hacked :P. if we cant prove it, then unfortunatly its a one up for the hackers out there =( EDIT: also id like to note, that i am NOT a hacker, i dont trade people hacked pokemon claiming otherwize, i do not hack anything outside the laws of the game, i do not hack any pokemon of any kind for personal unfair gain. all i do is use a AR for experimental purposes (Such as the above, and the Volt Tackle research etc), and i get rid of all the effects of hacking the moment i am done experimenting with them |
Here is the problem you will run into.
If you know enough of the stats of the pokemon, and have a real one to base your hack on, you can hack it so 95% of people can't detect it (i have a shiny jirachi you wouldn't know is hacked). The other 5% are the "special" people. They are in the secret society that somehow isn't allowed to pass on the secrets, but more and more people show up with the knowledge *boggle*. They use an R4 or other smilar device to pull the game file and examine the pokemon in question down to the code. Supposedly, pokesav and other such programs doesn't put ALL the coding in a regular pokemon would have, and the secret society has ALL the proper code information for all event pokemon. They compare the info on your poke to their "correct" info and determine if it's hacked or not. I personally won't trust anyone who claims they can do that until they show me all the info they are using and i can use it myself. their flip side to that is if everyone knew, then they could hack better pokemon (but of course these people can also hack better pokemon....) Anyway, that's what you will find. I don't use pokesav myself, but i have used Ciro's creator... and given all the proper information, i can hack a very realistic pokemon very easilly. I'm sure you can do the same with pokesav if you know what you are doing. it's the 5% special people you have to wonder if they can really check or not.... |
exactly, this is the thing, i want to see if pAC and any other program can correctly identify hacked pokemon, most people create poor hacks that can be identified by anyone (lol at people who make perfect IV'ed shiny arceus and claim its legit xD) i have heard that there is a [email protected] that apparently gets struggled to be detected, and i was wondering just what makes this happen, and if other pokemon could have a similar effect.
in short, a message to the people who can do this: test if my hacked pokemon show up as hacked on whatever you use to do it. but i must admit, i cant see how there wouldnt be a coding gap, i mean you create a pokemon where there shouldnt be one, so it should display as hacked, shouldnt it? |
Better that you give them 6 pokemon and say "which ones are hacked"
|
^ good idea, do that... lol xD
|
have you decided who to send the pokemon too. If you haven't i'ld like to see if i can tell the difference between normal and hacked pokemon

okay, thats the first person to test it :-)
let me hack some pokemon first.... lol xD EDIT: okay i have 3 hacked pokemon, and 3 legit pokemon. please put 6 fillers in your party and i will come online, =] EDIT: actually could you give me another 10 miniutes lol, need to find my DS charger =/ EDIT: wow sorry about the delay, anyways i decided it would have worse odds (and therefore more judgement than luck) if i only had 2 hacked pokemon in my party of 6. so i decided to do that instead, i am coming online now. one of the hacked pokes should be a giveaway since i accidently screwed it up lol =/ |
