The smug attitude deterred me from accepting your challenge.. and you're in the wrong section, anyway. Battle threads, I'm pretty sure, go in the Wireless Battle Stadium.

itachi143 June 3rd, 2008 12:51 PM

your code???????????????????????????????

Glaceon_ June 3rd, 2008 12:55 PM

My last post stated I wasn't going to accept your challenge, because of the vibe your thread gave me.. and to friendly inform you that you're in the wrong section for challenge threads. They go in the Wireless Battle Stadium.

No, it's just that no-one wants to battle you because both of you act like immature idiots.

Well.. even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to; my DS is kind of.. a little broken. XD; Even though I can play on another DS, since we've another in my house, I don't really feel like messing around with the Wi-Fi settings; losing all my precious Pal Pad friends.. D:

On top of that, I have a VERY unbalanced team, since I'm new to the EVing, and stuff..

Wulf June 3rd, 2008 2:23 PM

I would totally own you...if my team didn't suck and all.

airconditioning June 3rd, 2008 2:27 PM

OK. What is this crap? Your Darkrai was almost dead from my Weavile's Brick Break, and then the next turn you suddenly have 2/3 health?

itachi143 June 3rd, 2008 2:27 PM

lol.................................................

Glaceon_ June 3rd, 2008 2:30 PM

Does Glaci sense tension in this battle between members of the forums? o.o;

airconditioning June 3rd, 2008 2:30 PM

Huh, what's this? I wake up, Brick Break, and before the damage goes through, you suddenly heal to full health while surviving a CRITICAL HIT Brick Break from a CB Weavile with 1/4 health? Hm, I wonder how that works out...

EDIT: Oh, and a communication error.

True Justice June 3rd, 2008 2:35 PM

My hacking senses are tingling. Are you sure no healing hold items were used?

Healing to full health just before taking a critical hit from a super effective move? Is there an item that actually does that?

True Justice June 3rd, 2008 2:38 PM

The only thing I can think of are the berries that reduce damage from super effective attacks. Or the Enigma Berry that restores health after a super effective attack, but it doesn't restore all of it.

Glaceon_ June 3rd, 2008 2:41 PM

On top of that, it happened twice, and therefore, if there was a Berry the first time, it shouldn't have happened, the second. Dream Eater wouldn't work on Weavile.. does Darkrai learn anything else to restore health?

airconditioning June 3rd, 2008 2:41 PM

No healing item can heal multiple times. My Weavile BB'ed, and it appeared that he was dead (his ENTIRE health bar disappeared), but then he Dark Voided (it missed). Next turn, he has 2/3 life back, with no message from the game. He then Dark Voids me, and fails to kill my Weavile for 4 turns (lol), at which point I wake up, Brick Break, and right before his health bar depletes, he suddenly has full health. His bar is depleted to 1/4 of its life, where it's revealed that my Brick Break was a CRITICAL HIT. A standard CB Weavile Brick Break to a Darkrai has ~45% chance of OHKOing. And given how slowly the bar depleted, it felt like he had more HP than a Blissey. And after waiting a minute or so, I suddenly get a connection error. Strange, eh?

EDIT: From what I saw, the Darkrai ran Dark Void/ Dark Pulse/ Dream Eater/ Something else. Darkrai attacked every turn, either Dream Eating (to no avail) or Dark Pulsing. He had no opportunity to heal.

Glaceon_ June 3rd, 2008 2:44 PM

Pretty much so. Sounds like that idea that someone had further up the thread is going to come into good use.. *nabs the likely hacker's username*

True Justice June 3rd, 2008 2:44 PM

Well that explains why he never lost, he hacks.

And there is a healing item that can heal multiple times, Shell Bell and Leftovers. But even so, there is no way those items can cause those circumstances to occur.
