Problem at Ruby...

Hello. I got a Pokemon Ruby Gamepack(Original). I have that pack at least 1 year and it worked perfect until my game has been deleted. 2 weeks ago, I put the pack into the GBA. Switched to ON. but the the save dissapear. this is what the game writed:"The internal battery has run dry. The game can be played. However, clock-based events will no longer occur." so I understand the problem is with the clock. is there any way to fix that problem?

I don't know what's wrong but you could go to the store you bought it at and ask about it.

I also has a ROM of ruby on my computer. I tryed it today and it has the same problem just like the originaly game I got. so the problem is not with the pack...

Eh, you've had it for a year so chances are it's the Berry Glitch. Either connect to Colosseum, trade with FRLG once it comes out, or go to your local GameStop store to fix it.

You have to send it back to Nintendo to have the battery replaced.

what is that battery?

BigBoss August 2nd, 2004 8:10 AM

The Round thing in your Cartridge. Just Do what everybody said and you will be ok!

Abusoru August 2nd, 2004 8:16 AM

The battery is the internal power source for the memory. I wasn't sure if they still used them in the games but i guess so since you got a messsage about the battery.

BigBoss August 2nd, 2004 8:30 AM

actually, the battery is just the timer.

Just toss the thing at some 16 year old working at GameStop and tell him to fix it or you'll smite him. All you need to do. You don't have to do anything with Nintendo.

wow that poor sixteen year old.....

The eternal battery... Ahh yes! The problem asked the most! I had this Problem!
You can't fix it! You can play the game, and all but time events won't accour! Once the eternal battery runs dry, the berry glitch occours (not if you have Jirachi)

Example:
Time events: Getting the "hard to get" secret base decorations is a time event
T.V.
Getting berries!

Did you not read ANYTHING Chris?? "Toss it at a 16 year old and say you'll smite him if he doesn't fix it"
