Missingno's Name

I thought... does Missingno have a Japanese name? If so, what is it?

JX Valentine June 14th, 2008 12:48 PM

It's called Ketsuban in Japan. Pretty much the same meaning.

Legobricks June 14th, 2008 2:19 PM

Right... I thought it'd mean the same. :D

I think this topic should go to the Missingno. thread in the Sticky Threads Section........

Legobricks June 17th, 2008 2:07 PM

That's just a thread that says what Missingno is. I'm surprised it wasn't locked while it was made a sticky, since it's not really for discussion, just to inform.

I know this is out of place, but you know the advanced Missingno? The black circle with the white question mark? What would happen if you migrated that to Diamond or Pearl?

I remember reading an explanation for that question a while back on tsrockin'. I think the person said that she migrated the Question Mark Glitch Pokemon from her Ruby version to her Pearl version, and it either transformed into a Stantler or a Snorlax, I can't remember.

if u trade a missingo or however you spell it from a red or blue ect to a gold or silver it becomes a Tyrogue! weird huh?

Harry Blue5 June 18th, 2008 7:29 AM

A True MissingNo. traded from Red/Blue to Gold/Silver can be a Stantler as well. It's because non-glitch Pokémon's hexes were programed to change when traded, however MissingNo. is a glitch and his Hex doesn't change. Some MissingNo.'s have different hexes (there is more than one hex that MissingNo. fills the space in)

sanny the hedgehog June 18th, 2008 7:36 AM

wasn't there another glitch besides missingno? i encountered it in blue it was called virus-x, or something like that all i know is that its like missingno but you can catch it only in blue version, but as soon as you do you have to release it. ether way they both screwed up my game.

Um, no. The topic is for Missingno ‎discussion too.

You can all carry on with the conversation in that topic.
