Pal Park Issue

Okay, here's my problem: I migrated 6 pokemon from LeafGreen to the Pal Park. I can usually catch 5 of them as soon as I start, but I can't find the 6th one. And I can't migrate any new ones until I catch the old ones. The pokemon I migrated are Ditto, Snorlax, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Jolteon, and Sandslash. I can find the first five no problem, but that damn Sandslash doesn't want to show its face. I know it should be lurking in the mountain grass section, but it won't come out. What's my problem?

Help would be awesome.

True Justice June 15th, 2008 2:39 PM

The only solution is to keep searching for it. It will eventually show itself.

MysteriousTrainer June 15th, 2008 2:43 PM

Yeah try searching in an area where it looks like a Sandslash would usually appear, like in the grassy areas.

Dr Gregory House June 15th, 2008 2:44 PM

yeh that's the only thing you can do really.
because they're all there, you just need to have the patience, because some of them are much harder to find than others.

Would time of day matter? Cuz I've only tried capturing during the day and I dunno if Sandslash are nocturnal or not.

Katnip June 15th, 2008 2:55 PM

Time of day never mattered with me, when the pokemon wouldn't show themselves I just ran around until I found them.

Patchy June 15th, 2008 2:55 PM

no, it doesn't as far as I know. Good luck finding it, you may need it. :)

Kratos_Aurion88 June 15th, 2008 3:13 PM

Look up on the cliffs. That's where ground types usually hang out.

Dr Gregory House June 15th, 2008 3:13 PM

well, good luck finding it. you'll need very very very very good luck at this rate, but you will eventually find it.
i dunno what else it could be really...

Azonic June 15th, 2008 4:02 PM

Sandslash is located in the mountains, it is just incredibly hard to find. I've migrated a lot of my legendary Pokemon onto Diamond and it takes at least 10 minutes to find even if you are looking in the right place. Keep looking, it will come to you.

10 minutes? Wow, I've sent legends over and the whole process takes 5.

But like everyone said, just keep looking. Start running like an idiot.

Horyo June 15th, 2008 4:42 PM

It doesn't take me that long, even with legendaries. Usually I find them after running around for a few minutes.

No. If it did, and you transferred both a Nocturnal and a... uhh.. Dayturnal (XD I don't know the word) pokemon then you couldn't get both.

Saltare. June 17th, 2008 4:47 PM

what i did was start at the beging of the grass and go through each row till you find it. I had the same problem with my Maril and I totally forgot i migrated it! And people say legendaries are hard to find in Pal Park, it isn't Rayquaza was my first one i cought
