say if my pokemon has pkrs how can i cure it?

Forci Stikane June 21st, 2008 1:37 PM

Keep it in your party until after midnight.

Pokerus is a good thing, though.

Gooberdued June 21st, 2008 2:32 PM

LOL, why would you want to cure it?

MrCarter504 June 21st, 2008 8:23 PM

how do u get it in the first place? i never got it before...

Horyo June 21st, 2008 9:29 PM

^Like shinies it's random. Oh and it's rarer.

I have it <3 (thanks to my friend who got it and sent it to me hehehe...)

Keep the Pokemon Infected in your Box, and take it out only when you need to EV train your other pokemon as PKRS doubles the EVs gained from other pokemon. If it's a pokemon you cant live without, then... meh. Dont Worry =)

You should leave it in your box and when you are going to start Ev training make the pokemon you are training get infected.

Ethan718 June 22nd, 2008 7:12 AM

Well, also, how did you get it? I always feel dirty if I get it from a trade, who knows where it came from...

Horyo June 22nd, 2008 12:42 PM

^Hahaha, it comes randomly, rarer than shinies though. Just a random wild poke.

D: I got it from my friend whom I can trust.

How can you tell if a wild pokemon has it? Is it stronger than most wild pokemon?

You cant tell any Pokemon has it until it either says "PKRS" by your Pokemon on its stat page, or the nurse at a Pokemon Center tells you the Pokemon has it. You won't know a wild Pokemon has it.

On topic, I believe it goes away on its own after simply having your Pokemon on the party for a long time (after all, I have a huge spread of the PokeRus throughout my PC and team; lucky me!). In the PC it remains "still", and a PC Pokemon could have it litterally forever if you never took it out. But, if I read correctly, the effects continue to boost EVs even after it goes away, it just won't spread. I don't see why you'd be anxious to get rid of it, though. It doubles EVs, meaning your Pokemon's stats grow faster and better than otherwise. Not to mention, it's contagious to other Pokemon when the PKRS Pokemon is in your party. So, plenty of stats for all! :D

PKRS Rulz

you get pkrs after attacking a wild pokemon with it, PKRS makes your pokemon stronger when you level them up with it

No you dont. You get it randomly after a battle. It doesnt make you "stronger" either- As said it only doubles EVs.

Questions about PKRS are answered in the Stickied FAQ.
