Trying to think of a pokemon for the 6th place

hey guys

I'm trying to think of a pokemon for the 6th place to go against the elite 4

Currently the pokemons that I have right now are going against the elite 4 which are:

1. luxray
2. infernape
3. staraptor
4. garchomp
5. floatzel
6. ?????

I dont want trading type pokemons, I'm not thinking about movesets right now. 'm just looking for a pokemon with a type that balance well with the current pokemons to go against the elites 4 pokemons

so any suggestions for the 6th pokemon?

thanks

I say, try out a grass type. the grass type I had was Leafeon.

Basically any pokemon is strong enough to take on the E4. You could use 6 Bidoof if you want. But if you're so worried about it, then use Weavile.

I suggest a grass type, or one that knows grass moves because the second E4 is annoying without it. Those dang quagsires...

Your team is the cookie-cutter D/P team. Unfortunately, that makes them all Physical-attack users. Shouldn't really matter. Just pointing that out.

If you really wanted, you could do what I did and sweep the E4 with an Azelf...
Just caught it and gave it Flamethrower and Nasty Plot and put it first... Two Plots and sweep with Extrasensory / Flamethrower. Too easy. Didn't use anything else, but Azelf gained a couple levels.

^He might be trying to lay off the legendaries xP

Gymnotide June 22nd, 2008 12:41 AM

Pshaw. Azelf is not a legendary.

^XP Fine, not a one-of-a-kind per cartridge pokemon.

Try using Bronzong. It might not have a huge movepool, but it only has one weakness (with Levitate.)

That would pretty-much balance your team. If you are worried about those Quagsires... [Aherm-movespeech]Grass Knot would trample them.[/speech]

Although any team is good enough to take the Elite Four provided you have high enough levels, this thread belongs better in Strategies and Movesets.

Thread doesnt meet S&M standards. By that i mean, we need ev's, natures, items, etc. If you need to find out about any of the above check the stickied threads and then post a thread that meets said standards.

Also, this forum is for competitive battling, not in game. As said many times before, any pokemon works well in game.
