over used pokemon

im getting really really sick of seeing the same pokemon in four straight generations of games
what i mean by this is
who wants to see another geodude or another zubat
these pokemon are getting over used and its make them those their appeal
i think pokemon like this:
geodude
zubat
machop
abra
wurmple
onix
pysduck
goldeen
marril
and gastly

should get replaced by pokemon like
pidgy
the nidorans
caterpie and weedle
diglett
sanshrew
vulpix and growlithe
mareep
poliwag
ryhorn
spinark

it would just be nice to have something refreshing for once

Whats the point of this thread?
You can catch like every pokemon in D/P, so it doesn't really matter.

Well, as AJ said, most pokemon can be caught (Including the ones you mentioned should be included) and this does seem like this thread could get flaming in it.
