So i dont really get the pokeradar...
WOOT! i beat the Elite 4 finally (pretty easy once i trained) and i got the national dex
now for the old pokies. I read http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/poketore.shtml that article about the pokeradar, but i dont really get it. Could somebody explain for me in easy terms how to use it? Things im having trouble with
Nevermind i figured it out. The thanks from me go to me :) If anyone else needs help on this topic i used the guide below http://www.pokemondiamondpearl.info/guide/pokeradar.htm |
Hmm....I think more shaking means a rare pokemon is there(maybe even shiny) and less means, common. And streaking/chaining can be catching or killing, but after you catch it, nothing happens afterwords, if you kill it, it keeps going on and on and on hope that helps!! Good luck!!

It's not about the amount of shaking. There's one shake that is just the patch shaking. Then there's one that is kinda yellow when it shakes. That one has rarer pokemon. Plus IMO it's better for chains because it's easier to see so you don't miss it as much. Then there's a third one apparently for shinies. Never seen it myself.
As for the chains, in order to keep the chain alive you have to either catch the pokemon or KO the pokemon. Try to go to the patch most distant from where you are, but avoid the corners and hard-to-see spots. The more in the middle you are the better chance you have of keeping the chain. If you're just going for the pokeradar-exclusive pokemon, save before you use the radar, then use it, and if you don't get the one you're looking for, soft reset and do it again. It's faster than taking 50 steps and you don't have to waste your repels. |
K thanks about the repel tip.
and one thing - can you go into a spot youve already done? |
Yeah, you can go to a spot you've already done.
