Good training places?

Im looking for a good place to train my Gabite ( lvl 38 ) to a Garchomp (evolves at lvl 48). I havent beaten the E4 yet. I need places with good exp for training it. Any suggestions?

Do you have a lucky egg?

If so, there is a trainer in the water right before Victory Road. He has one Gyarados that will give you 3000exp if you have a lucky egg.

Stylix will give you 2000exp if you fight one in Victory Road

Otherwise, wild pkmn in Victory road is your best bet.

I guess I need a lucky egg then.

Route 222, west of Sunyshore, and Route 223, the sea Route north of Sunyshore, have a number of trainers whose pokemon range from the high 30's to the low-mid 40's. Sailor Luther and Fisherman George are probably the two best trainers on Route 222, plus it's easy to ride your bike down the wide strip of land to recharge your Vs. Seeker. They just use water pokemon, and those are fairly easy for a Gabite to beat.

I don't recommend training using Wild Pokemon; defeating a trained pokemon yields 1.5x as much EXP as a wild one, plus it's not a random encounter so you either know what you're up against or you can find out.

Yeah, just ask around here for one. Thats how I got mine :)

or,

Start catching wild Chansey(5% chance of getting one this way)

To add onto the reply above, you can also have a pokemon with the move theif attack chansey. Make sure its not holding anything though, or it wont work. ^^

since you havent beat the e4...victory road is your best bet.

if you had defeated them then a exp.share and a few fights against them, your gabite would be a garchomp in no time :D

I like Sunnyshore's trainers both above and to the east of it. The vs seeker recharges quicker to the east of though. I need a lucky egg though as well. Thief a Chansey. Is there one on route 222?

My other post doesn't seem to have registered. Why is that?

Thanks for the help. Ill try battling at victory road but it only gives me like 400-550 exp. I'll try battling by Sunnyshore too.
