Things that make me mad about this game
I don't like how every pokemon is two types. Charizard shouldn't be flying/fire! I also don't like how you can catch all the evolutions of pokemon in the wild, there's no point to evolving things. It also kind of annoys me that you have to have all the gameboy advanced games to get all the pokemon. Has anyone else ever thought this?
|
All your points are stupid. Now gtfo
|
Not every Pokemon is two types, you can't catch every evolved form in the wild and it's actually pointless to "catch 'em all" (you essentially get nothing but bragging rights) when you don't want to, so it's not a problem that you don't own all the GBA games unless your really like a certain Pokemon and it isn't in any of the versions you have.
@ Birth-rock: It's nice to see mature people such as you at this hour. |

This doesn't bother anyone else? Weird. Well, I'm sorry for making stupid points. Also, I was kind of exaggerating when I said "every pokemon is two types" and "you can catch all the evolutions". And, about the "catching 'em all" thing, I'm kind of strange, I don't really like to battle that much. All I do is collect all the pokemon. I've only been to battle tower a few times.

Lolz the gyms are very easy, but your pokemons are probably too good too, he has one good point, Charizard should be fire/dragon
|
BirthRock needs to lay off of 4chan >:p
|
I dont think makeing sharazard another dual type was what he had on his mind
|
Every Pokemon has two types...That's what bothers you? You have got to be kidding me.
And of course the gyms are ridiculously easy; D/P is aimed for 3+ therefore the ingame challenges are a walk in the park. Come back with some better points please. |
Yeah, you've got to realize, Nintendo has yet to focus Pokemon solely on the older generation. It's still directed towards kids, they just made a lot of concepts in the game more difficult and challenging for older players. The gyms are not one of these things, lol.
The only thing I don't like about D/P compared to past generations: Item bag. My bag is so unorganized! Where's the item storage system when you need it!? |
I never seemed to use the item storage in other games, cause when I beat the Champion, after while, I went to my Item Storage, and guess what, I had a Potion in there! That from another game of course. This bag is a bottomless pit, except the underground, which Nintendo hated us and put a limit. I kept getting Sun Stones, and bag is full.
|
I also hate the limit-less bag, I have like 3o3430fiff04934903 plates in there.

Catching the evolutions in the wild? That's just logic- as you go through the game, obviously the Pokemon will get stronger. And logically, they will be evolved. You need to have all the Gameboy games? Someone's never heard of WiFi... |

If you really dislike things about the game why buy it? |
My biggest pet peeves, in order are:
|
I actually love the limitless bag. No more 'NO MORE SPAEC' messages when in deep caves.
What I don't like is that there's no PC storage system, meaning that bag gets cluttered up with useless crap pretty easily. |
I guess I don't mind the limitless bag, it is just so annoying having to scroll through your items so slowly.
|
with the limitless bag i just gave all my pokemon in boxes items try that it will fix the problem
two types have goth ups ands downs and charizards second type allows it to kill fighting types eaisly but makes it x4 weakness to rock live with it. The gyms are easy because you are stronger and they counter weaknesses like an electric gym having a water type. like others have said POKEMON EVOLVE WHEN THEY GET STRONGER work the rest out |
Why no underground bag that is limitless! That's what I need.
|
They need the E4 to go up to 86, not 66, so the gyms could be more spaced out. Also i agree.. if you want to catch a.. Starly in this case, later in the game i think its dumb to have a staravia catchable in the wild.
|
the only thing that really gets me about D/P is just that its so repetitive. at least with emerald you got the battle island to go to and beat the Brains. here, you get the tycoon >.> i still haven't gotten to the part where he brings in legendaries.
other than that, the game truly shines in WIFI. although it may not work a few times, its the best entertainment for now. so many forums have been created to take advantage of the WIFI, and well, here we are. |

The limitless bag would work better if they made more pockets. Of course, if they did then we'd all be complaining about too many pockets make for slower item accessibility. Perhaps sub-pockets accessible through the main ones would work better?
Personally, I like the bag because I've always hated storing items on the PC. Things that bother me include the following (and possibly others I didn't think of at the time of writing): 1. The less-than-originality of the town names. Come on, Sandgem Town? Hearthome City? Twinleaf? Snowpoint? Sunyshore? I hate the random compound words for names; this goes for the 3rd gen. as well. I liked it much better when they were colors or plants. If compound words is the new thing, then they shouldn't make the combined words that obvious (Mauville and Canalave were alright.) 2. I don't like the way that the number of pokemon displayed when saving is the number of pokemon seen, not caught. I always put a higher value on the caught number; "seeing" them all is rather unimpressive to me. 3. Really, really, really, really, really slow Surfing. Seriously, why can't surfing be at running speed? I never liked sea routes, but now I hate them even more. 4. Making Poffins. It's a chore; at least with Pokeblocks you could do it fairly quickly and I liked the timing game involved. Stirring and then randomly having to stir in the opposite direction is just a pain. Plus, I hate the overflowing. 5. Surf. Again. Was it really necessary to make it hit your own teammate? Surf was bad enough in double battles as it was. The only way I can see it being useful is if your ally has Water Absorb (and I've never trained a pokemon other than Vaporeon that does) That's all for now; I'm sure I'll think of a few others later. |
What I dislike about this game is the characters you have to be, can't they make them look cool or customizable?
