any time, the more people here the better the club will be and the way to keep people is to be freindly and polite ^^

HiroUey April 4th, 2009 6:36 AM

Ah yes Swampert, thats my strongest pokemon right now, another fav of mine is Lanturn

Sweet Candace April 4th, 2009 11:40 AM

My favorite Water-type is still Milotic. You know your hard work is rewarded when you get a Milotic.

indeed. Sadly, I've never been able to even catch a feebas so my Milotic was a trade -.-

moon April 9th, 2009 3:32 AM

I've never bothered trying to catch a Feebas :/ ... maybe I should :3

I love Swampert, it's always my strongest pokémon in Ruby.

Legend Of Time April 9th, 2009 4:33 AM

I Love Water Pokemon :o

Can I Join ?

Thanks

Kyrogue = <3

Sushi. April 9th, 2009 6:58 AM

Of course you can join here, Legend Of Time! ^_^
Just gotta wait for Ambellina to come back for you to be in the members list.

Mudkipz will always be my favorite. :P

st.jimmy April 9th, 2009 8:14 AM

i leik teh mudkipz :P
welcome ledge ^^

moon April 9th, 2009 8:25 AM

Oh, I read back now and understood the question XD

From the four water starters I'd pick... um... argh. It's hard. Probably Mudkip still. Only because Swampert is so pwnsome. But I like Totodile's and Feraligatr's design best, as I usually like Johto pokémon best ^^

The water typed introduced in Johto weren't all cool though... Quilfish was meh. And Mantine was huh. As for Wooper and its evolution, I used it in a really good team once, in Gold~ But they look bleh.

Politoad is love though~<3

What do you guys think about the Johto water types?

st.jimmy April 9th, 2009 9:49 AM

i luv politoed.
i remember sitting on my doorstep trading it over to my freind and trading it back ;)

moon April 9th, 2009 9:52 AM

Haha, right... I never had anybody to trade with ;;
But that was how people did it, wasn't it? Trading it back immediately after evolving it :p You don't want to trade a pokémon you've worked hard with to someone else and see it evolve for the other person XD Why did they make those kinds of evolutions anyway... Probably to promote socializing and trading around the Pokémon brand.

st.jimmy April 9th, 2009 10:03 AM

no.
to promote the sale of them retarded link cables.
wi-fi ftw! ^-^

Legend Of Time April 9th, 2009 11:14 AM

From The 4 Starters I'd Get Squirtle First Generation is Love

I Always pick Grass Starters First Then Water Every Other Time ... Ive Only ever Had One Fire Starter and That Was When My Sister Started Red For me My First Ever Game

hank jones April 9th, 2009 11:24 AM

Blastoise!

I i had to choose one water starter, i'd definitely choose squirtle! Though i confess, i like treecko more than squirtle!!! =( But i love the evolutions of squirtle way more than his!!!

Water Pokemon Godess April 14th, 2009 11:17 AM

hello i would like to join i love water pokemon so much my fav water pokemon is all of them but if i had to pick one fav water pokemon ide pick poliwrath

st.jimmy April 15th, 2009 10:21 AM

i havent seen them yet.
i did have a shiny palkia in my pack last time i bought one though ^^

Shvibzik April 16th, 2009 11:40 AM

I always choose the water starter, except on Gold/Silver, there I choose chickorita, I don't really like Feraligator, I think he's not as awesome as the others, but well that's my opinion anyway XD

Got lucky or using AR?
Chikorita's defensive and Cyndaquil's offensive. Totodile's average.

I've gotten Cyrus' Palkia which is really strong

Shvibzik April 21st, 2009 12:49 PM

Hey don't you think there should be more water/grass pokes?

Sweet Candace April 21st, 2009 2:23 PM

Hey, I think they should have more Water/Dragons like Kingdra and some wierd combinations (ie: Water/Ghost or Water/Fighting).

Willis April 23rd, 2009 12:45 PM

Can I join? xD

I loves me a good Vaporeon.

Sweet Candace April 23rd, 2009 12:53 PM

Should they create more Water-type legendaries?

It's a new topic, so answer away.

st.jimmy April 24th, 2009 12:37 PM

yes, yes indeed.
kyogre, suicune and...umm...i think thats it, lugia aint one anymore.
i have to admit that we do have more ledge's than the grass peeps though ^^
and ambellina i have cyrus' palkia too ;)

Sushi. April 24th, 2009 12:44 PM

Should they create more Water-type legendaries?

For the next gen of Pokemon?
Then yes, it would be nice to see more Water-type legendaries.

Sweet Candace April 24th, 2009 12:46 PM

I think they should have at least one new Water-type legendary in Gen 5. I do think if they made triple-type Pokemon, Lugia should be one them being Psychic/Flying/Water.

They must. Every region has water surrounding it. It wouldn't be a surprise to have a legendary water-pokemon there.

Sweet Candace April 25th, 2009 4:34 AM

Any ideas fro a Water-type legendary?

I think maybe something on the lines of a giant serpent...like the Loch Ness Monster.

♣Gawain♣ April 25th, 2009 4:41 AM

The best candidate yet for another legendary water type must have the likeness of the Kraken. In short, it must be a giant squid!

Pokefan Billy April 25th, 2009 5:46 AM

they should have the remains of the titanic as a water pokemon :) jk i wanna join btw my fav water pokemon is well its my siggy pic and a water pokemon legendary could be Neptune God of the Sea something on the lines of that

Sweet Candace April 25th, 2009 8:04 AM

A kraken? Sounds like an Octillery evolution. I do believe Octillery should get an evolution.

Witch April 25th, 2009 9:43 AM

Hmm Lapras looks kinda like the loch ness monster if you think about it. But, I'd love to see a kraken-looking pokemon in the near future. & Welcome Willis! You'll be added to the list right now!

Sweet Candace April 25th, 2009 9:55 AM

Lapras is more like a ferry slug (like Gastrodon), more of that than looking like the Loch Ness Monster.

st.jimmy April 25th, 2009 11:36 AM

they need to make a dolphin pokemon definately.

Pokefan Billy April 25th, 2009 7:25 PM

they should make a sponge pokemon like spongebob or something or plankton pokemon

Sweet Candace April 26th, 2009 4:31 AM

They wouldn't make an all Water Elite 4/Gym Leaders. Electric types and Grass types would walk all over Water-types.

Pokefan Billy April 26th, 2009 5:27 AM

they wont but i will and so what gyrados can lean fire moves and so can some water pokemon and they can learn ground moves too not all of them but some of them also ludicolo and Lanturn and swampert are strong with there weaknesses

Sweet Candace April 26th, 2009 9:10 AM

Still, Water Pokemon have their weaknesses. It takes one powerful, super effective hit to knock one out.

st.jimmy April 26th, 2009 1:02 PM

yer, and also that woul defeat the point of picking a fire starter for the game.

moon April 26th, 2009 1:08 PM

But imagining is never wrong, is it? :)

I'd like to see a hack with leaders and elite4 like that :D

Pokefan Billy April 26th, 2009 1:23 PM

ok ok i was just saying not like there is going to be an all water gyms/elite 4

Sweet Candace April 26th, 2009 3:31 PM

They would have one Gym Leader or Elite 4 member with Water-types.

Pokefan Billy April 26th, 2009 8:59 PM

already have candice Emerald

Armando The Mexican PokeTrainer April 26th, 2009 9:15 PM

Shvibzik April 27th, 2009 8:17 AM

Candice is an Ice type trainer, it's my sencond fave type, water's in first of course!
And about a water legendary I think it should be a kraken like Gawain said, it'd be so awesome!

Sweet Candace April 27th, 2009 10:48 AM

Maybe something like a giant eel or something. There's so many different water species, it's kind of difficult to think of any...

Pokefan Billy April 27th, 2009 10:31 PM

i think they should make a giant angler fish as a legendary that would be kool or a killer whale like free willy

Nah. Octillery's good on it's own. I mean a real large kraken. A legendary one that's swallows ships and eats the crew.

Pokefan Billy April 28th, 2009 5:47 AM

what about a mermaid legendary that is the godess of the sea

Rogue planet April 28th, 2009 7:06 AM

I thought that was a Sea Cow?
*Cringe*

A Kraken sound awesome, but it seems a little too fantasy-esque for Pokemon.

Poliwhirl#1 April 28th, 2009 7:55 AM

Hey Can I join please
Poliwhirl is the best

st.jimmy April 28th, 2009 9:41 AM

Pokefan Billy, thats a pretty impressive team. I wouldn't change Kingler for the world ^^ Anyway, I've gotten into collecting pokemon cards again (if you couldn't tell from my other posts XD) & I've gotten a ground/Steel blastoise! can ayone tell me how that works exactally? O_o;;

They made some 'Delta species' cards where they were different types. I know nothing about the TCG though ^^;

Witch May 18th, 2009 9:23 AM

yeah, thats what it is. I can kinda see the metal. but Ground/fighting?

Sweet Candace May 19th, 2009 11:16 AM

I haven't payed any attention to the TCG, but like Vendak said; the Delta Species are cards in which the Pokemon have different types then they should.

Witch May 19th, 2009 5:33 PM

kinda like my fire seadra who still has a weakness to electricity :/ Anyway, here is a new topic, Who is the better seal-type pokemon? Spheal or Seel?

Sushi. May 19th, 2009 7:43 PM

Yeah, definitely Spheal. Seel looks like the ones I saw on Ghost Hunters many years ago. But I like Dewgong more than Walrein.

Sweet Candace May 20th, 2009 11:09 AM

Spheal. Walrein is more powerful than Dewgong, so it's Spheal.

Shvibzik May 21st, 2009 10:10 AM

Walrein is better for an ice team than a water team, tough, because of ice body.
Dewgong is better on a rain dance team because of hydration.
But in overall, yh walrein is better! :D

Sweet Candace May 21st, 2009 11:23 AM

Okay, here's a new topic:

Who's the best Water-type Gym Leader; Misty, Crasher Wake or Wallace/Juan?

Who's the best Water-type Gym Leader; Misty, Crasher Wake or Wallace/Juan?

Misty.
She's probably the only good Water-type Gym Leader I like, and the best too. ^_^

Sweet Candace May 21st, 2009 3:20 PM

Well, by "best", I meant "strongest", in your opinion.

Wake's a beast.

I like Wallace because not only he's a champ, but because he balances water pokemon well than any others.

st.jimmy May 22nd, 2009 7:34 AM

wallace only cuz he was last on sapphire so he wuz hardest.
misty was hard at the time for me though.

Sweet Candace May 22nd, 2009 11:04 AM

Wallace was cake. I like Crasher Wake. Because he was planted halfway through the game. He required some more thought than the others.

Shvibzik May 24th, 2009 2:32 PM

I think u know my answer, Misty's the best as she really loves water types and is really good at using them, tough we must see some important factors wich are Misty's the 2nd badge, Wake's 4th and Wallace's 8th, so she can't be ultra hard.
Also you might think Wake is better, but you must remember that on the red/blue saga there weren't all this super awesome new moves, so she did pretty well with what she had XD.
So Misty is GOD...dess, GODESS!

Halcyon May 25th, 2009 3:06 AM

I'm back~
What's up with the Cherrim Theme? o.o

Who's the best Water-type Gym Leader; Misty, Crasher Wake or Wallace/Juan?
Juan. I like his style and he speaks French. :p

Who is the better seal-type pokemon? Spheal or Seel?
Spheal. It is rounder and has two evolutions.
And OMG it looks so cute!

Halcyon May 28th, 2009 11:28 PM

I like Kyogre too.

Favorite non-evolving Water-type Pokemon?
The ancient old Relicanth and Manaphy.

st.jimmy May 31st, 2009 11:10 AM

theres only a few non-evolvers now :/
i'd have to say relicanth is better and that luvdisc is as gay as the theme to pc right now

Welcome both of you! ^^ I'll add you now.

Who's the best Water-type Gym Leader; Misty, Crasher Wake or Wallace/Juan?
-Ugh, hard question. I'll go with Misty. She's completely dedicated to water pokemon & she's pretty tricky to beat when you're a rookie trainer.

Favorite non-evolving Water-type Pokemon?
-Luvdisk I guess.

I'd say Misty, besides the fact shes one of my favorite characters period she is a very passionate trainer with strong water type pokemon. I really like how she gets into matches. And her personality and execution is great

Favorite non-evolving Water-type Pokemon?
Hmm.. I'd probably have to say Corsola.

I like Corsola as well, but I wish it wasn't so weak T_T
