Yeah, in Safari Zone. Quite rare and difficult to catch. I mostly catch Goldeens and Dratini.

*blushs more*
Anyways... Maybe Dragonair could have a alternate evo that's Dragon/Water?

Twisted Cuteness September 20th, 2009 9:47 PM

I donno. Dragonair can tamper with the weather and stuff. Dragonite is cool as it is anyway

♣Gawain♣ September 21st, 2009 7:48 AM

Yeah, except for the fact that it can't resist strong Ice-type attack.

Witch September 23rd, 2009 9:02 PM

true, but thats why I have mine learn flamethrower for ice pokemon

♣Gawain♣ September 24th, 2009 8:00 AM

Unless it's up against the likes of Regice, very high sp. def and a strong Icer. I hope Garchomp is a Dragon-Dark. Oops, offtopic...

Crystal Glaceon September 24th, 2009 3:59 PM

I'm wondering if anyone feels the way I do about having the orange islands incorporated into a pokemon game?

Sweet Candace September 24th, 2009 4:05 PM

I don't think it'd make much sense, unless they had you battle the leaders.

Crystal Glaceon September 25th, 2009 7:21 PM

I would be a fun mini game to use water pokemon in

♣Gawain♣ September 25th, 2009 10:32 PM

I think it's best to leave it just it is. It'll be more hassle to make it into a game. But I like your idea.

DestinyBender September 25th, 2009 11:21 PM

Can I please join this Water Pokémon fanclub? It's set out awesomely :)

Sushi. September 26th, 2009 6:52 AM

It's weird how Muddy Water and Surf are the same thing. :/

Sweet Candace September 26th, 2009 1:33 PM

Muddy Water and Surf are different:

-Surf is a HM, Muddy Water is a Level-up move (talking about Swampert)
-Muddy Water lowers opponents Accuracy, Surf does not.
-Muddy Water is, muddy water, Surf is plain ol' water.

Sushi. September 26th, 2009 1:49 PM

True, though I don't pay much attention on stats. :/

I haven't played Pokemon for months since I don't have a DS. T_T

Dark_Reis September 26th, 2009 8:18 PM

I'd like to join too. I need my old Feraligatr. ):

ProfessorRolly September 27th, 2009 7:40 AM

I'd love to join this club as well

Crystal Glaceon September 28th, 2009 11:09 AM

Muddy water and surf look the exact same, though muddy water is brown (duh)

♣Gawain♣ September 29th, 2009 5:49 AM

Muddy water is less accurate(95) than Surf, and it can lower opponents accuracy. SO which is better? I say MW.

The pros says Surf, for better accuracy.
But anyways, who else think that Surf & Muddy Water should be room-ranged moves for Pokemon mystery dungeon?

Witch September 30th, 2009 6:38 PM

Welcome to all the new members ^^ I'll be sure to add you

Me. Because sufing means moving, so it must be ranged. I'm a bit disappointed when Surf and Solarbeam ain't ranged.

You know, in D/P/Pt, Solarbeam appears to be shooting upward, so it makes sense to me why it's not ranged... Altough, in the older games, it was horizontal instead of verical.... & for Surf, I thought it should've been a room-ranged move, because in one of the game, when I look at Surf in one of my pokemon movelist, It say something like:
"The user sends out a tidal wave that floods the battlefield."
& on Pokemon Colosseum, it REALLY floods the battlefield.... so it's pretty much a water-type Earthquake, along with Muddy Water...

Witch October 1st, 2009 9:21 PM

Surf should definitely be ranged, as it's a massive wave that can cover a lot of ground.

st.jimmy October 4th, 2009 1:45 AM

man iv become inactive ^^;
hows things going my water lovers? :D

♣Gawain♣ October 4th, 2009 7:44 AM

It's much easier this way, with hardly any ranks at all. As long as you vow to yourself to stay active, you're in.

^ whoa, who are you? Very large signature I say.

morrison October 8th, 2009 7:36 AM

Shvibzik October 8th, 2009 2:16 PM

Ah! Blastoise is awesome, he was my very first poke ^^, I mean squirtle was XD! That brings back some memories ^^ and really bad graphics XD

morrison October 9th, 2009 1:48 AM

haha, In the first time i played I nearly always did single Pokémon runs, so I had my Blastoise at level 60 at the silph co house and a ratata level 3 and maybe a pidgey level 10 or so xD

Squirtle was the very first pokemon I've ever used, (It was on my Bro's game) But when I got my own game, (It was the Red version) I choose Charmander... (Charmander was also my very first trading card... do you think the fates are trying to tell me something?)

♣Gawain♣ October 9th, 2009 10:05 PM

I use Squirtle too in the old games. And it was Blue(and surprisingly, it's the only version that I have completed the Pokedex, Mew was from a Nintendo event).

Trying to tell you that fire is the way to the future? XD, or maybe charmander is the one for you, now that I think of it I dont remember my 1st trade card, I think I bought the Gyarados deck.

morrison October 10th, 2009 3:43 AM

My most successful TCG deck was my 'commonly known as waterfall' deck :D with gyarados and poli- evolutionary line, and squirtle evolutionary line :D :D

♣Gawain♣ October 10th, 2009 4:04 AM

I had once my deck with mainly dragon, ice and steel types. They have the most variety attacks to me.

Shvibzik October 10th, 2009 7:02 AM

I only had cards till 2nd generation, so my deck was based on misty cards, like misty's horsea, misty's seadra... it was interesting but I wouldnt say it was an impressive deck, I had fun with it though :D

morrison October 10th, 2009 7:27 AM

Yeah had fun with my decks too. I had started collecting late but I was playing and trading at an official league place so I got my cards together quickly :D
Although I wasnt very good at playing xD

Shvibzik October 10th, 2009 7:49 AM

Haha cool, I was never at an official PTCG, I was a kid when I started buying cards, but after a while no one played it anymore, cause people started thinking pokemon was for kids -.-''.
Nya the conversation is going off topic, so better get back to the water fellows...
What do you think of a Water/ Fire type?! XD

morrison October 10th, 2009 8:09 AM

That would be pretty awesome :D , I could imagine a geysir Pokémon :D Hot like fire but still water xD. and since the geysir attack would be a 'fire attack' it could damage plant pokémon too :D

Shvibzik October 10th, 2009 8:16 AM

Haha cool idea, I always wanted to see paradox pokemons like that one XD

SmashBrony October 10th, 2009 3:37 PM

Hmm... I have a Salamence card that uses fire & water energy, but it's of the "Colorless" type... & I've seen a Salamence EX card that is a water type, & had a Poke-body (or was it a Poke-power?) that could change it's type to fire....
& speaking of which, my first deck was a Water/Electric one...
I think it was called "Turmoil theme deck"...
Also, if pokemon was real, & I've started my jouney at 10 years old, (I heard that is the typical age when people start their pokemon quests)
I would've chosen Squirtle... my allergies (of which I don't have anymore) would not permit me to have Bulbasaur, & I've would've been too intimidated by Charmander's fire...

st.jimmy October 11th, 2009 12:47 AM

im sure i had a colourless blastoise once :|

I have like tons of pokemon cards right now that are in a box.

I have plenty in other languages besides Japanense, (& I also have cards in Japanense) I've been hanging on to them, for I've been told they could be worth a lot...
However, I've given up the pokemon trading card game for Chaotic.
(as you may tell by my title, beneath my username...along with my location.)

morrison October 12th, 2009 10:27 PM

My cards are all in a file neatly arraged in cardholders :) I have also some japanese cards.

Sushi. October 13th, 2009 10:14 AM

I find the japenese ones cooler than the american ones.
Because the pics in each cards are unique I think. :3

morrison October 14th, 2009 11:06 AM

The cards in germany or europe are the same as in Japan. They just have a different backside. shoudltn be any different for america .

Yeah, there's a section here for the cards...
New topic idea:
Spoiler:
Why aren't the Ice & Water types the one & same? This idea came from the fact that Ice & Water often are the same Type/Element on other games...

Pokefangirl October 20th, 2009 1:51 PM

I like that idea! ^_^ Wonder why that is?

Sweet Candace October 20th, 2009 4:07 PM

Ice and Water should stay seperate. The reason is because some Ice types aren't part Water (Look at Snorunt, Glalie and Regice).

What I mean is this:
On the Megaman Battle Network series, Iceman is a Aqua-element Navi.
& so is ANY ice/cold based NetNavi, like Freezeman & Coldman.
& Ice is SOLID water... I know that Water is liquid, & Ice is solid, which would seperate them, but I just wanted to hear other people's opinions on why they chosed to seperate the 2 instead of merging them like on other games...

♣Gawain♣ October 20th, 2009 10:22 PM

Why aren't the Ice & Water types the one & same? This idea came from the fact that Ice & Water often are the same Type/Element on other games...

In ancient times, it is considered that Ice is the pure form of water, which means they made it a separate element. Even today, it is the solid state of water.

Or maybe Nintendo want something that will complement water, like Ghost and Dark.

I agree. a giant tree can't be water type

chuckroast1492 October 22nd, 2009 4:04 PM

I've always been a big fan of water types. Consider me a member of this club. Unless there's some sort of crazy initiation involving holding your breath underwater. I'm not so good at that.

Witch October 23rd, 2009 12:54 PM

Spoiler:
What pokemon do you think live in fresh water, & which ones lives in salt water?

morrison October 25th, 2009 10:59 PM

well most sea pokémon like tentas , whaleco sharpedo live in salt water but the fish goldeen , and the the likes of psyducks and any other <#amphibic' pokemon like in sweet or brackwater.

lsmith October 27th, 2009 4:32 PM

send me a good nickname for my Gyarados PLEASE!!!!!

♣Gawain♣ October 27th, 2009 5:17 PM

As far as I concerned, all water pokemon can live of saline or fresh waters. Except Wailords, which is only confined to large bodies of sea waters.

For regluar Gyarados, I usually have a male named Guy...
("Gy" from "Gyarados", with a "U" in the middle...)

lol. imagine finding 1 in a lake. thats like finding a gyarados in a small lake ^^;;

♣Gawain♣ October 29th, 2009 2:12 PM

And the Wailord will be delflated if that's the case, and the Gyrados will become a tiny shrimp. -_-

roacherman October 30th, 2009 9:18 AM

Witch October 30th, 2009 9:19 AM

as long as it's also part water, it's welcome to be discussed in the club ^^

morrison October 31st, 2009 6:22 AM
