Thank you both! :B Yeah, there's not many photographers here. Makes me sad. ;_;

I think I'm going to the zoo again too, this time with a better lens -- keep on the look out for more pics |D

"drop" is bad.
"one in a million" is meh.

Latest three all suck in one way or another.

Every other one I found amazing. Like, seriously, amazing.

Latest three: Um, thanks for the constructive criticism? <<;

Thanks for the compliment.

Wow I love how you use water it really adds to the detail in the latest picture of the orange slice :) Keep up the good work, This work is Inspiring because I want to start taking pictures. I used to be good but never got to take photography in school :(

Franceschi September 19th, 2008 12:08 PM

Yowzer, I am truly impressed.Your photos are all to an extremely high standard and they all have a lot of depth to them, rather than just being a paint palette or just being a strawberry in a ridiculously awesome green glass.

Sure sometimes the photos have are a alittle iffy - such as the Drop. I didn't really feel as though there was a drop, but that's my opinion ^^

I absolutely love your photography and like the former El Capitano and now Comic Tragedy, I am a total fan of your work :3

EDIT; the photo of an orange is freaking amazing @[email protected] Seriously. The water and bubbles adds a whole other dimension and it's just .. amazing!

Wow, thank you so much! ^__^ Yeah, I REALLY enjoy messing around with water and fruit, mainly. It is so fun to get my entire bathroom soaked! XD

The "Drop" picture is also my least favourite. To tell you the truth, it was just to mess around with photoshop effects. XD

Thank you! I liked that picture too, water is so fun to mess with ^__^ Thank you so much, I'm flattered. <3

I hope I get to take photography - I haven't yet. One day, while taking pictures on my camera phone, I realised I actually liked it. Awhile later my dad got me a decent camera. I've been through... three or four since then, and happy with the one I have now. :3

Yay I have the fuzzies!
Well, he has an old Olympus SLR film camera which I use for Media excursions for school. But that needs film and I can't upload it and stuff so I could use his Nikon SLR Digital although I am not sure which model it is... I can check for you laters and maybe drop a Visitor Message or something..

Memory September 28th, 2008 5:55 PM

Oh... right. My ex best friend,who I got in a huge fight with, was the girl I made that list with.

She must have deleted it. :/

That's incredible, the use of water to accent & the vibrant colors is...wow. These are amazing I really can't suggest areas for improvement, they're that good. Fantastic gallary, Aorio.

Thank you so much! <3 I'm saving up to get a real macro lens too, so I can take pictures of snowflakes and stuff like that. Hopefully I can get it next month :B

Franceschi September 29th, 2008 5:48 AM

AH. YOU HAVE NEW PHOTOS THAT I HADN'T SEEN D;

Musicality ;D -

That's gorgeous. Truly and simply. I love the colour transitions and the fact you have a focal point and it's not just a piece of music.
MP is the best volume :D

Mountains -

Wow, I wish I had views like you do ;o;
Even if it was a foggy day, that's still an amazing photo. It's really professionally taken and it looks like something a doctor would have in his surgery - that is not a bad thing ;D

A leaf submerged in water, you say? -

I hope that's what it is, otherwise I have made a fool of myself XD;
I love the reflections of the water and the drop is perfect with it's little bubbles and such :3

I can't describe these photos with justice. Just know that I love them ^^

Hehe, yeah, I love our mountains. :3 Thanks!
And yup, that's what it is. XD I love experimenting with water :3

Thanks a lot for dropping a comment <3

What kind of camera do you use?
And how do you get your fruit so perfect looking? That orange is so... well.... ORANGE!

I use a Canon Digital SLR Rebel XT <3 it's my babyy
and for fruit
I take the pictures in my bathroom, always. It's completely white and has the best lighting.
I also always have flash on :B Basically what I do is I take a little cup of water and, from about 1-3 ft. above the subject with my left hand, slowly pour it onto the fruit while taking multiple pictures. I probably do it several times, until my bathroom's soaked/flooded. XD

Another tip for flash is... try putting a mirror in front of the flash, it adds a softer tone to an image and gets rid of the icky shadow :3 If there's not a good one handy, use a piece of paper. Always works for me :B

Also, a new list would be great! 8D What my ex-friend and I did is she came up with the odds, me the evens :3

moments. September 29th, 2008 5:38 PM

Ooh, I like the fruit method.. Do you mind if I try it out sometime?
Anyways give us a PM if you want to start a new list of themes and whatnot.
